Eat here. You won't regret it.Shrimp tacos are huge and delicious.BBQ pork tacos are delicious.Chips with salsa and queso are delicious.Mixed drinks are fantastic.Ask for the fire hot sauce if you like it extra spicy.Our server, Jesus, was very friendly and attentive.My only complaints:They have limited indoor seating, so you might need to wait a long time if you want to sit inside.Mixed drinks are small for the price.The tacos were expensive, but man they were delicious.

It's pretty nice, but of course being on the strip, I feel the prices were a little high.We had a delicious shrimp burrito and chicken enchiladas.Didn't try the drinks. The glasses I saw of other guests were small, and drinks were $14 plus for margaritas and other cocktails.Hostesses and servers were friendly and pleasant, and they offered a military discount!

We ate here two different nights on our recent visit to Zion. The first night my husband got the chicken enchiladas and I got the shrimp tacos with a side salad. The two tacos each had 5 or 6 nice sized shrimp. The flavor was good and it was very filling. Glad I had the side salad. My husband enjoyed the enchiladas a lot.The second time my husband got the burrito and it was quite large which was good because we had hiked all day and he was hungry. I got the Chile rellano made with goat cheese. Not only was it delicious but it was beautiful too. I had rice and beans and used those to soak up the extra sauce. Then we had the tres leches with vanilla cake which was also quite good.The staff was very friendly and a special shout out to Gaby who gave us great recommendations.Lots of places were closed due to the time of year so it was great to have a wonderful place to eat in the off season.

Whiptail Grill is absolutely delicious! I had the pleasure of eating here with some friends and we all raved about how amazing the food is. Jesus took care of us throughout our lunch and was impactful in our menu perusing. He made recommendations that were thoughtfully tailored to our tastes. This food is art! Stunning displays of culinary perfection. High quality food with flavors that will have you yearning for more. Highly recommend eating here.

Stopped in for dinner after a long day in the park. The place was decent and had a good vibe. We got a table for 6 and were seated fairly quickly. Food was decent and our waitress was friendly.The strawberry jalapeño margs were good too but they come in a small cocktail glass priced at 14 bucks. My mom and I decided to eat here while on our 10 day road trip during our stop at Zion National Park based on reviews, and they definitely were not wrong!The restaurant has an amazing view of Zion Canyon if you sit outside, and is covered from the sun. Our waiter, Jesus, was friendly and personable, never made us feel rushed, and gave great recommendations.We started with chips, salsa, and guacamole, but the guacamole was definitely not fresh or homemade, it tasted like it was scooped out of a larger jar/container. I had the carne asada tacos and overall they were okay, but needed some sort of sauce to tie it all together, because it was mostly steak with minimal slaw inside. My mom had the chile relleno and loved hers! Our favorite things, however, were the margaritas we ordered. I had the strawberry and my mom had the coconut and we both could have had an entire pitcher of them!It was a little pricey, but what can you expect when it is right outside of a national park!Overall, the views were amazing, the food was pretty good, and the drinks were amazing. If I ever returned, I would probably order something different to eat and skip the appetizers!

Indoor or outside seating this is the place in town to eat. Prices are affordable and portions are HUGE! It is worth the wait (can be a bit around peak hours 5-7pm). It’s an old garage turned into a restaurant.Ordered the nachos ~ real cheese, homemade chips YUM!! Chips and salsa had a nice kick to them. The steak tacos (2) loaded with enough to make 3 tacos comes with rice and beans. Lastly, had the taco salad add chicken. As a newly chicken eater it was delicious and cooked perfectly. Taco salad was big enough for two to share and then some. We had so much food, took back still as delicious the next morning for breakfast.This is a MUST stop when visiting Springdale especially after a day of hiking around Zion. Kid friendlyVegetarian options: All foods can be made with out meatParking: Limited parking, plenty of street parking around the areaKid-friendliness: Kids all around. Great cocktails and every dish we had (between 6 of us) tasted great. The staff were very nice and the outdoor seating had decent cover. It was somewhat unexpected since it was right next to the campground and most places, in my opinion, that are near campsites/ hotels areas don't have the best food. Overall go enjoy the food and views!

Great location on main drag. Seating inside or outside on Patio. Misters for most of patio in case too hot.We ordered The Whiptail Shrimp burrito, 2 orders of Carne Asada Tacos and a Southwest Chicken Salad. Most orders come w/ side of rice and black beans. Fernando was our waiter. He was constantly checking on us. He was a great server !Menu had plenty of choices for all to enjoy.We would have done the patio, but with all the hot hikes & biking, we needed the a/c.We will return ! Entrees approx. $15-20 + beverages

EXCELLENT!! This place is amazing. Ludo was excellent and he guided us on what and how much food to “not buy.” Because we were buying too much food. We are so glad we listened to him. The portions are very large and generous and served with a side salad and house avocado dressing that is out of this world. The tacos come with a hefty portion of meat and fantastic tortillas. We ordered the Fire tacos with carne asada beef and the Sweet Pork Tacos(my favorite). Each bite brought different flavors bursting and working together. A great meal!!

One of the worst Mexican cuisine that I had. The drinks were small (less than 6oz) with almost no alcohol (we got Margaritas). The food (Surf and Turf, Carne Taco, and Carne Burrito) was bland (no salt, no taste) and so dry.They have a lot of good reviews that made us come here, but I think it's because they are located right outside the National Park and people have to go there since there are limited options, and as they are hungry and exhausted after hiking, they like the food.The food and drink (even if they were good) are overpriced, and then, they charge 2 more dollars for making it spicy.Also, they wrote that 18% gratuity will be added to parties of 5 or more, but they charged us for 20% gratuity (image attached).

Fantastic place on the main street in Springdale. Cool vibe, nice outdoor patio if uts not too hot. We had the wings with sweet chili sauce and a cheeseburger. The menu said 1/2 lb burger, but I guess it was more a 1/4 lb I could be wrong. It was fantastic and juicy, though, and cooked perfectly. The wings were crunchy and moist, too. Price was not bad, considering it was high season in Zion. Service was quick and staff friendly. It's definitely a great place to grab food after a day hiking.

Wow. My wife and I enjoyed a really great meal here. Dining on the patio with spectacular Zion Canyon views and great service from an attentive and cheerful staff was a great start. But the quality and originality of the food was what really blew us away! On top of that, the portions are huge - which is a good thing, because you won’t want to stop experiencing the flavors too soon. We highly recommend!

The food was delicious but expensive. It costs an extra $3 to get smothered burritos. $23 total. I'm pretty sure that's the most I've ever paid for a burrito. One burrito had a little sauce on top, but the other basically had none. They don't know what smothered means. I'll post the pics.The Pineapple Porker sandwich tasted good but there was no evidence of pineapple. It was just a pulled pork BBQ sandwich.The $17 burger plates other customers ordered looked pretty good. Maybe we should have ordered one of those.

In terms of food, presentation and service, Whiptail Grill blows every other restaurant in Springdale out of the water. The portions in the Shrimp Burrito and Shrimp Tacos were large and they both tasted amazing.Bottom line: 🔥🔥10/10 would recommend.Best restaurant in Springdale.

My family loved this place so much we ate here twice on vacation instead of trying something new haha! The view, the service, and the food were all incredible! Would highly recommend the Whiptail Burrito, Surf and Turf “Whiptail Style”, and the Barbecue Bacon Gouda Burger. The serving sizes were great! I shared the burrito and the surf and turf with my mom and it was plenty of food to share.

Great food, friendly staff and they also cater to dietary restrictions! The shrimp tacos will tantalize your taste buds and the chicken burrito will blow your socks off! highly recommend! I will note that the server didn’t seem to understand specific dietary restrictions such as soy. The food also came on the same plate that may cross contaminate other foods.

Our first stop when we arrived in town, after a day of flights and driving to Zion this place hit the spot. It's a smaller restaurant with limited indoor seating but their menu is amazing!We ordered the nachos, shrimp, steak and pork tacos for three of us. Portions are perfect for a hungry hiker. Service was quick! Definitely a stop to make while in Zion

Walked to the restaurant from our campground and seems like some in our party had a good dining experience and others did not. I had the southwest chicken sandwich and it was incredible. The jalapeno strawberry margarita was so yummy. Others in my party did not like the chicken enchiladas. They said they had a weird texture and tastes was just OK. Chips and salsa are pretty pricey for what they are. But overall I'd come here again as my meal was really delicous.

We ate here twice in one weekend! Loved it! So much flavor. We sat on the patio in the rain. It was very pleasant. Don't let the size of the restaurant and decor full you. Food at the Whiptail Grill is amazing!!
