My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Zion summer 2021. We got connected with Katie through a friend and decided to jump on the experience. It was incredible. Katie took care of everything after a couple of meetings over the phone. We got to parts of Zion we would have never known about had it not been for The Wild Within Us. The locations were beautiful, the hikes were fun, and the campsite Katie put together for us was even better when we woke up the next morning to see the lake view. It was a very hot day so Katie was also cognizant to change up our plans to be in locations with better air movement and shade to keep us cool. The photos turned out stunning! We recommend an adventure with The Wild Within Us to anyone and everyone. They can cater to whatever you want your experience to look like and have all the talent to deliver the photos. We love them!

I went to the Wild Within Us to help me plan a secret proposal, after the initial phone call to set up the dream setting I knew there could be no other choice than to book with them. Katie plotted every detail out and gave me all of the options for the special event. Sara Jane was our photographer, and she did a fantastic job. The photos came out beautifully and she captured every emotion of that special day. I would rate them all of the stars in the Zion sky if I could.

My partner and I had our engagement photos taken in Zion by Sara Jane. It was a great experience, we were both a little nervous because we’re a bit awkward with photos but it was super fun! I was looking for a Zion photographer to surprise my mom and 96 y/o grandmother with a session for Mother’s Day while we visited the park. Katie is a pro at what she does. But beyond that, she is incredibly adept at working with people and understanding their needs and desires. My family had FUN working with her during our shoot, and that's saying a lot considering my kids are typically not the most patient when it comes to family pictures. Our family photo shoot was a dream come true for me and my husband, as we can't think of a more stunning backdrop than one of our favorite places- Zion National Park. We live in the midwest, so we made this experience part of our vacation to Springdale, and we are so glad we did! We were worried about carving time out of our vacation to do this and the potential hassle it might become, but it was all smooth sailing, thanks to Katie! Though we had to get to the location before dawn for an optimal backdrop, Katie made it so easy, it was clear to us she has this process of sunrise photo-shoots down to a science! We had a clear and simple timeline to follow that morning and Katie led the way in a manner that was somehow fun and timely yet never feeling rushed. The resulting images are as beautiful as we'd hoped they would be, many images surpassing our expectations! The weeks leading up to our shoot, Katie was very responsive to all of our inquiries, and she maintained a professional yet warm and inviting disposition in her communication as well as during the photo shoot. When we decided to travel to Zion for our elopement from NJ we weren't quite sure where to begin. After the first phone call with Katie, we knew she would be a great choice for our photographer. Her eye for the landscape and all its beauty attracted us to her work. She is not only a fabulous photographer, but her knowlege of the area as a local was extremely helpful in our planning. She helped us to find our other vendors, with outstanding reccomendations! Katie was with us every step of the way as far as planning the timeline and locations for our photos, and she was super helpful when it was time to get our permit with Zion, to plan our ceremony at The Temple of Sinawava. When we were running a few minutes behind in the early morning hours and we were not going to make it to our planned location in time for sunrise, Katie, and SJ, her second, immediately "called an audible" and shifted gears. They re-routed us to a beautiful trail just outside the park, and we had the place all to ourselves.We had so much fun shooting with you both at sunrise, what an amazing way to start the day. Sunrise holds a sense of hope and joy, and we feel this was so beautifully captured. As we transitioned to the Visitor Center to load the shuttle with our guests for our 10am ceremony, we realized what a busy weekend it was at Zion. Katie, and SJ were instrumental in getting us all parked, in two different overflow lots, and even shuttled our guests back to the visitor center. But beyond all the additional things I just mentioned we are both absolutely in love with our photos! From the beautiful sunrise pics, to the family hugs, you captured it all! Nearly two years ago, my now husband and I had the pleasure and most incredible experience working with Katie as she photographed our wedding. Starting at 6 am to get sunrise shots through the afternoon capturing the ceremony in a spectacular slot canyon to post wedding hiking, it was, well, perfect! I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about my photoshoot experience with Kate. From the moment I contacted her through the moment she sent over the stunning photos, she was heartfelt, professional, timely, and loving. 5 stars isn't enough... Literally no review will ever be able to describe just how amazing Katie is or how incredible the experience she provides is. Katie is truly the most genuine person I have ever met. My husband and I did an adventure shoot with her and it was an experience we will never forget! This was our first time having professional pictures done and nothing will ever compare to this. I will admit, my husband was on the fence about the price but before we even met Katie in person, he realized how much effort and care she puts into your experience before the actual day. Then 2 seconds into the shoot... Katie is scaling a cave wall to get the best angle and we just watch her in awe haha. Katie made us both feel so comfortable and honestly I have never felt more beautiful - like I was two seconds away from hypothermia and she still made me look good??
