The tiny town of Springdale, while quaint, doesn't really offer too many dining options. We went to Oscar's on the recommendation of our tour guide, who is a regular. Fun vibe, great service, and packed. We had a 15 min wait. The best part is they have 5-6 vegan options and generous portions. Almost everyone walks out with leftovers. The beer is also huge! I ordered the sweet potato burrito plate and it was pretty good, especially the rice. Came with a fresh house side salad, but the dressing was too tart and could use some balance. Main food came nice and hot to the table and within a reasonable time. Would dine there again. 👍🏽

Absolutely delightful lunch at this very popular café. We each had the Grilled Shrimp Salad which had an assortment of fresh veggies with avocado and a light vinaigrette dressing. So good! We intend to return to enjoy the Grilled Salmon Salad. Parking can be a challenge here but there was plenty behind Oscar's as well as across the street. Just look for the signs. There is only one handicap spot by the entrance. This is our favorite place here now! Highly recommended!

It was very busy when i went, so the food wait for the main was about 20 minutes after ordered which is not super long really. But I did get to have some blue corn chips with guacamole.I loved that they had a tonne of vegan options. From a few burgers, to sandwiches, to burritos and a few more.Portions are pretty large, and you can get a take away container.Service was quick and friendly, even though they were packed.You can be seated inside or outside. But the outdoors area has heaters, so shouldn't be too cold (depending on the time of the year ofcourse.Overall a great experience, and will be happy to go back :)Dietary restrictions: Vegan options

Amazing place to have dinner in Springdale . Their portions are huge. Two people can easily share a main course dish . We had tamales which came with a side of salad. You must try the carrot cake. It comes with a creamy topping which had lots of walnuts in them. We absolutely loved it . We also had breakfast the next day. Their breakfast game is also top notch . They open at 8AM .

We always stop at Oscar’s for a piece of carrot cake but this time we enjoyed dinner as well. We arrived and were seated just before the dinner rush. I was impressed at how well the staff handled so many customers. Food was very good (fish tacos, chicken tamales). Each dish could have easily been split between 2 people. The carrot cake was heavenly! It was warmed and drizzled with cream cheese frosting & topped with walnuts. Highly recommend Oscar’s.

Had two delicious meals in our short time in the Zion area. Both of our servers, Sean and David (fellow Canadian), were AMAZING! Very personable and very attentive. The food was incredible, and portions were generous (great for leftovers). We ordered the pork enchilada (twice), Oscars chicken burrito, and the pesto quesadilla, all of which were very tasty. Others in our group ordered the nachos, tamales, and fish tacos, which they were all very pleased with. We also tried both desserts, the carrot cake and the volcano brownie sundae which were well-portioned for sharing and delicious. Could not recommend this place more, especially getting a hanker tanker after a long hike (Angels Landing and The Narrows). 10/10 experience!!

Food was genuinely hearty and delicious. We came for breakfast and sat down outside, awesomely. A little drafty but a deliberate choice to see the little puffballs flying around pecking at bread crumbs. Very cute and I personally enjoyed it. +1 for atmosphere.I had the green chile horseshoe and she had the pork verde breakfast burrito. Both filled us up with leftovers to spare. And the leftovers we took, as the potatoes were delicious (and good cold). Neither was too spicy and the sauce itself was not overwhelming. Didn’t hit like Arizona but that was perfect for the walking to come.Service was great and we felt like they actually came around enough to make sure we had what we needed in spite of a busy morning

Arguably the best Tex-Mex food I have ever had. Great atmosphere. Incredibly attentive, friendly and quick server Sheila !! And the food… just wow! The chicken and chorizo burrito was outstanding as were the fish tacos. Local beers were excellent. And we saw a Maui burger go by and vegetarian quesadillas that we would certainly have enjoyed. To top it all off sitting outside in January at Zion national park is a rare treat.

Excellent food and service. We loved the dinner so much that we came back for lunch again the next day! We tried the Salmon Fillet, burritos, chips salsa and glaucomole..they were all delicious and big portions. There is a limited amount of parking but we were lucky to get parking both times. The servers were fantastic too. No wonder this place has so many reviews, highly recommend if you are visiting the Zion np/ Springdale area.

We waited about 25 minutes for table for two and it was so worth it ! We ordered the chips with salsa and guacamole which came with a huge portion of chips. For dinner we got the half rack of ribs and shrimp tacos. The ribs were tasty and came with a huge portion of fries. The shrimp tacos had a lot of shrimps and were so flavorful. Our server Harrison was great !

Oscar’s Cafe has both the fun atmosphere and the great food! We were seated instantly upon arriving and our waitress brought us water and the menus. We were treated with respect and kindness and we appreciated that. As for the food, it is very delicious! The burger was made medium well and was well seasoned. The fish tacos were also very tasty. The salsa was fresh but needed more spice; tasty regardless. Sweet potato fries were also delicious. Overall, an amazing restaurant in this town. Check them out!

Stopped here on a whim for lunch. What a gem with a great view! Our waitress Cruz was very friendly and personable. Will definitely be recommending to everyone in the area. Oscar's is the place to go! Excellent vegetarian and vegan options as well. Best impossible burger we've ever had! Be sure to grab some chips and fresh salsa for a starter.

This is the place to get great Mexican food in this little town. The atmosphere was great and an army of ceiling -mounted heaters keep you warm.Large portions is an understatement. You can probably split an entree with someone, especially true if you get apps.Kids menu, beer/wine.We had the tamales (great), Chile Verde burrito (maybe a little cold inside despite being on a hot plate?), chicken & chorizo burrito (different, great).Has the nachos and the quesadilla for apps, both tasty and plenty to share. (See pics)The service is great. Really nice people. 😍We'll come again whenever we're in town.

Harry server was awesome. No tequila n only 1 margarita. Pork was great. Shrimp tacos were loaded with shrimp. We had pork burrito n pork enchiladas n shrimp tacos. Pork we were told was smoked 16 hrs. Chips n salsa have to be ordered.vs. Complimentary but great views of mountains!!! We came for breakfast and it was great. If you lake pastries, must try their waffles. It is a exquisit from scratch made recipe, reminds of in store made waffles at ice-cream parlors, they were buttery and fragrant and a ton of flavor.Other dishes were great too. Portions are huge (not necessary for me, as it could feed 2 people). They are not “fine dining” dishes, but full of flavor, made from scratch, homey meals.Service was prompt and pleasant.

We came here back to back days. Both times, the wait was short, so we were thrilled. Things we ordered: Chicken burrito, Philly cheesesteak, Maui burger, chicken salad, pulled pork sandwich. Everything we ordered was to our satisfaction except our lunch of pulled pork sandwich and Philly, both of which seemed light on the meat considering how much bread there was on both sandwiches. Portions are a great size, otherwise.Service was great both times - very friendly waiters and the food came out very fast.Love being able to sit on the covered patio. We will be back next time we’re in Zion!
