The Spanish fork store has the most amazing employees. They are all top-notch. They greet you with a smile. Very friendly, easy to communicate with. Willing to help you with any questions or issues. You may have couldn't ask for a better store all the way around.. The manager here she is absolutely the best ever. Makes you want to adopt her...like I did Maximus.

Came here for convenience in distance compared to other stores to get reptile feeders. I don't recommend. Half of their feeders are dead and several containers dated 2/16 with the feeders completely dead with dried out food sources.

I would not recommend making a grooming appointment at this location. Our appointment was canceled at the very last second both times we made one. The first time they canceled they didn’t even give us a call to let us know, so we had to find out after already driving 15 minutes to be there. I made my dogs grooming appointment at this location because it’s the closest & most convenient to my location that had openings for that same week and my dog has needed this haircut very badly, as over the last few weeks he has built up a few mats. But after having to wait longer each time due to rescheduling, we will be taking him somewhere else.

Purchased 7 glo-fish a week ago and a day later we only have 1 survivor. 2 days later we had none. I returned with a sample of my water to have my fish replaced. Water was perfect! Of course i am then told I need a picture of the dead fish in order to proceed. Glad I was informed at time of purchase. Just go to PetSmart, where they think of fish as pets and not a product.

DO NOT BUY PETS FROM HEREI bought two birds from here early last month. After a little over two weeks of bonding, socialization with our other parakeets, and love, they sadly passed away this weekend. We mourned their loss and returned to the Petco to let them know.This morning we found another of our birds dead. We have spent years with our poor Dee. Now she is gone because of an illness that was spread from this store. We will likely lose our other birds as well. I cannot convey how much this breaks our hearts to lose our little family.Not only this, but every fish that we have seen from this store has been ill with ick or other diseases. The beta fish are kept in tiny cups with their filth. They must throw out so many poor animals daily. None of them deserved this.PSA: Go to a locally owned store. At least when you call to tell them about the illnesses, they stop selling them for observation.

There does not seem to be enough staff, often I end up waiting on a cashier or they are not friendly and throw things. The store could also be cleaner.The last time I was there the cashier seemed like he couldn't care less. He didn't ask how I am doing or ask if I found everything okay. He also didn't bag my the items and was picking them up and dropping them on the counter.I come here if I have to but try to avoid it.

First time I brought my cavapoo puppy for a shower and grooming. I asked for a teddy bear cut but instead they completely shaved her off. They said they couldn’t do it because of her hair texture and so they did what they could do. I am not happy with how they left her. I wish they could have called to ask me.

Being the only Petco nearby, I have to frequent this store more than I would prefer. Employees are polite, but act like they don't want to be there. My biggest complaint/concern is the mess. It is ALWAYS messy and disorganized. Lots of boxes of inventory just strewn about the place. Hoses all over the floors usually by the fish. (safety hazard!) A "catch all" isle by the dog toys that just collects boxes and trash. Really the first thing you notice while entering though is the smell. I'm not sure if its the cats or the grooming area, but it reeks. I feel like I have to hold my breath every time I enter. I have visited many other Petco locations that were clean and organized. I just don't see any excuse for this problem and makes me worry about the care of the living animals in the store.

Twice I have gone into this store to buy products for my dogs and twice I stood at the register for 10 to 15 minutes without any recognition and customer service. I left my items on the counter and left.Recently, I called 3 times in one day to enlist my dogs for training classes. I was put on hold all three times. After Minutes of waiting I just hung up. I called Petsmart and they answered all my questions and signed me up on the phone. I drive an additional 20 minutes one way but at least the customer service is good. I have worked in retail for many years and I know that customer service is everything.

So the workers don't really ask if you need help and i was walking around with my daughter who loves animals but we were walking by the fish and I saw some dead ones when I went and talked to a young man with glasses about it the response I got is "they die every day and we cleat them out towards the end of the day" I'm sorry like I get it's a fish but they are still a living creature and almost forgot the young man I and talked to while me and my family left the store was laying half his body on the register counter why work somewhere if you don't actually enjoy your job

Had my appointment set for my dog to get groomed. I uploaded what I thought was acceptable vaccination records as other groomers have accepted it before. They refused to groom my dog because the record wasn’t up to their standard. It’d be nice to know this before the appointment since they can see the records before I get there. Pretty frustrating.

If I could give no stars that would be the option for me, but lucky for you, you'll get the one star review from me... I have made two separate appointment's for my dogs to get groomed and yet each time I get a text message and an email stating my appointment has been canceled and I never canceled it... I requested time off work for both of these appointments and now I'm officially upset! I call and no one answers so then I physically come in and its a struggle to find anyone to even help me... Customer service has gone done the drain!

Customer service is not the best, but it’s pretty good, but I feel like clipping a birds wings is a detail you should tell buyers. Before I got ribbons, I told myself that I would never cut any of my birds feathers. When cleaning my birds cage, I noticed a feather that the top was clipped off. someone had clearly clipped ribbons feathers before I got her. Clipping of birds feathers can put them into harms way they could be accidentally stepped on, hurt by the family dog, etc. I think they should tell you that they clip birds feathers before you buy a bird.

The employees here seem kind and caring of customers and pets. This store is however cluttered and disorganized in the couple of stops I've made here. The layout is confusing with a weird center section. The shelves are often jumbled or messy. I don't go out of my way to visit this location because I just want to get in and out quickly because I don't feel comfortable while inside.

First time we set up a appointment and didn’t let us know that the shots had to be done more than a day before the appointment so they made us reschedule and then the second time we came (a week and a half later) they refused to cut his hair because he was matted. He was not matted at the first time we came in but since they made us push it back he then got matted from waiting. Terrible place for haircuts.

We have bought fish here twice. Thought the first time was a fluke and got three glow fish. 2 of them died. Came back 5-6 months later and got three tetras. One just died. There are a couple of fish tanks that are pretty cloudy and dirty. Not sure what was going on there. The fish we have bought from the neighboring pet store we have had for several months with no issues. It’s not even worth the gas money to get a refund. Just frustrating. We did a water test and everything on our end looks great. Should have done a water test on the fish we brought home. Lesson learned. Please go to the other neighboring pet stores for your fish.

I went in to get some reef salt for a water change. I stopped by to look at what they had in stock for saltwater fish etc. The tanks were disgusting with algae etc. Could barely see through the glass to see the live fish. Stock and tanks did not look healthy at all.

This location is disappointing. I had an appointment for vaccinations today and due to an accident on the roads was running a little late. I called before my appointment just to let them know I was on my way and they let me know that was okay and they would see me soon. I arrived 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment only to find out they sent everyone home early. Their hours show they are open until 6pm but everyone was gone by 3:50. Wasted trip to only be told they were now closed even with them acknowledging they knew I was on my way and told me it was okay. Poor customer service and communication for sure!

Because Cassandra needed a break I had to wait for 20 minutes to get a mouse. Then she wanted me to fill out all kinds of paperwork... I walked out. I will shop local and go to Jay's jungle or Nemo's... Do better

Petco is always a fun place to visit. I love seeing the different wildlife they have and sell. I took this picture of the guinea pig just after he took a bath so his hair was looking all bed head haha the customer service is always nice and the knowledge of the associates us always pretty spot on.

Customer service could use some work. There's a reason I don't go into this location, even though it's closest to my home. Example, today I called into this store and the boy (was definitely not a gentleman) that answered was so rude. I asked how he was doing. He sighed and just said "what can I do for you ma'am?" Sounding so exacerbated. He was rushing me through what I was trying to say. He was short, curt and wouldn't even let me finish my sentence before saying "okay, and?". You could tell he did NOT want to be working. I was so blown away that I didn't get a straight answer to my question and I didn't even care.

Huge selection of Stuff for dogs. I particularly enjoy all the Marvel toys. The staff was friendly and let me go about my shopping in peace. They were out of stock of most travel bowls which seems odd
