One of the things I like most about Smiths is you can recycle your clean plastic grocery, bubble wrap and other bags there. They also have the can to deposit them right inside the entrance so you don't have to look all over for it. Of course every time I drop my bags off I stop for one of the delicious donuts. My favorite is the glaze with the crumb coating on it. YUM!They also have free fruit for kids, in the fruit section. Maybe I should stop with the donuts 🤣Most stores aren't overly fancy but clean and many things are a decent value. You can get better deals on some items elsewhere but Smith's is generally a good place to shop for groceries.

Worst pharmacy in the valley, most of the time they will be away for lunch and will not answer the phones ever. Today they closed the pharmacy at 7:50 PM and left but they are supposed to close at 8:00 PM . Highly disappointing to see the closed door at 7:50 PM.

Smith's has been a staple as much as bread, eggs, and milk. One the best benefits to Smith's is the weekly deals that come out. You can find really good prices on various items, you just have to keep your eye out.The "membership card" is essential to shopping here and fortunately doesn't cost anything.Every location is run slightly differently. Some have great produce sections and others are lacking. Some are really clean and organized well, while others are not. This location, in particular, isn't bad. It's not the best, but it's pretty good.They have a good variety. They aren't going to carry the best of the best items, but most items are good quality. If you want the best of the best, Harmon's tends to carry more premium brands, but you will definitely pay for it.Smith's is our go-to for groceries. They are consistently good quality at good prices.

I had the most disturbing experience at this location. My wife just got out of the hospital. My wife needed some women product. I asked for help and this middle-age woman, I couldn’t catch her name, but she was the rudest woman I ever encountered in my life. She simply said just because im a woman doesn’t mean I know where the staffs at so I can’t help you. but I will get her name and I’ll make sure I’ll redo this review.

This Smiths has great customer service, a pharmacy, flowers, deli, sushi and a place to sit down and eat it. They have their Friday/Saturday sales out on display so you can easily find them when you walk in. I highly recommend getting their ap and downloading their free Friday coupons they have about every other week. It's usually a protein bar and that is fun to try. And I've had some really great cashiers. Their restrooms and drinking fountain are right inside and easy to get to. The grocery carts are in an awkward place compared to other smith's and the carts with car seat straps are usually blocked by normal carts but overall a good Smith's to go for a grocery run.

This is my usual smiths and I’ve never had issues with it until this past month.***Expired food and food that expires a day or two after you buy it.***Halloween candy tasted awful.We got a pizza that ended up being a whole month expiredWouldn’t plan on shopping here unless you have time to look at every expiration date on each item you plan to buy

This location usually has fresh inventory and always has a good selection of fresh flowers & foliage as you first walk in. It's always great for picking up a nice surprise for that special lady.

Do you even know what the probability of two shoppers' carts being filled with the exact same items is? Neither do I, but I do know that last night, when nothing seemed more consolative than a bowl of ice cream, Smith's of South Jordan was there for me! Not only was chocolate chip Tillamook found in my basket, but Josephina restaurant-style tortilla chips and a couple of other impulse buys as well. Was I satisfied? Absolutely. Would I return for more? Certainly. Do I wish everything in the store was free? Yes. Merci Smith's for being there for me last night. I would say that I owe you one, but I paid for what I took, and it was worth every penny.

There is never anyone outside in the gas station. So don't bother stopping unless you are paying with a credit card!!! If you have issues with your gas credits or pump. Good luck. You are on your own!

This Smith's has to have THE most patient employees on Earth. Very kind and courteous to help when the mega sale is on and you have to have a certain number of qualifying items to get the deal. They will actually count them to make sure you are getting the best price! Also, very clean and well stocked.

This review really deserves 0 stars. After ordering a cake online for my sons 12th birthday. I went to pick it up and the cake looks NOTHING like I ordered. With no other option and the party in 1 hour - I had to take the cake. I was offered a $10 "discount" to make it right... I am so embarrassed by this cake as it was supposed to be special for my sons birthday. If you look closely you can see the flag for the 18th hole is hand made out of a toothpick and a scrap piece of paper. Seriously?! Do not order a cake from here!!! Terrible customer service! The employee in Self Check Out stared directly at my wives cleavage and gave her a disapproving look. They then refused us beer because my wife that's 39 years old didn't have her ID. I walked my wife out to the car, then returned to another register to purchase the beer I desired. We'll never go back. Stay away!!!

It's a fine grocery store, if I didn't live so close though I wouldn't come here frequently. Sometimes the prices are great, but there have been many other times when things aren't on sale and I feel like I'm over paying

This is by far the worst smiths I have ever been to which stinks as it is conveniently close to my house. The shelves are always under stocked, items are frequently expired, and it is always understaffed. I don’t understand how other smiths can be so much better than this one

I wish I had read the reviews here before ordering a cake from this Smith's bakery! We pre-ordered a Frozen 2 cake on-line, but when I called to ask if it was ready to pick-up, they said they did not have the edible background that went with this cake. After saying they would call me the next day if they could get the edible background, I called myself the next day and was disappointed to discover that they had already "altered" the cake and made it as much like the Disney Frozen as they could. Seemed hastily thrown together and was very much on the pricer side for a cake that was not even the cake we ordered! Will not order from here again.

We love shopping at Smith’s! Their produce is always fresh and they have pretty good deals on the app and in store. The only thing is, their eggs are always broken? It’s the weirdest thing but other than that it’s great!

I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. They have a very good selection of produce canned goods dry products and a pretty good smattering of pharmaceuticals. I found the people at the meat counter to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I have to admit I always shot the sales and keep an eye out for discontinued items. It's always a good idea to check the dates especially if there's a little dust on top. A large beverage selection not a bad place to go for sundries.

Absolute worst customer service. The lady working the SELF CHECKOUT stand and was not responding to customers who needed her help to clear errors on the screen. Her actions and response to a customer is very indicative of how things are ran here.She ignored me for a few minutes forcing help on an old man who was very uncomfortable. After waiting, the "cashier" turned and looked at me at my register, one register away from where she was, and walked away to another customer and asked if they needed help. They did not. I walked out of the store at this point, when walking out the cashier tried to beg me back. This process of waiting for my screen to be cleared took 5+ minutes with no line and open registers while being ignored on purpose.Blatant disrespect to a customer who was waiting patiently and needed actual help. This was most definitely done on purpose for some petty reason.I will never shop here again and will be informing all of my family and friends to avoid Smiths all together. Harmons is a much better Grocer and has better prices and selections. The best thing about Harmons is the employees are amazing and happy.

Over the years I have spent so much money giving this store my business. I'm not sure if there is new management or what has happened, but I feel like it has become an extremely ghetto experience. I'm done supporting a company that doesn't appreciate the people who keep them in business. Thankfully Harmon's is conveniently located right by it, I will be supporting them from now on.

Their employees literally smoke cigarettes right in front of the doors where we all have to walk by including our children. It’s disgusting, rude, unhealthy and cancer causing for their customers.

If I could give this store zero stars, I would. I went to this Smith’s on a Saturday night, and not one checkout stand was open, forcing everyone to do self checkout. There was only one actual employee at the self checkout trying to help several people make their purchases so they could leave the store. UNBELIEVABLE!!! This has to be the most poorly managed Smith’s in Utah. This location has never understood or had any regard for customer service. Their attitude seems to be one of “come on, I dare you to shop at this Smith’s.” This store is an absolute disgrace to the chain.

This Smith’s has been good to my family and me for years and years. My complaint, if any, would be that there is no self checkout! I love self checkout and sometimes avoid this location just because they don’t have it. My interactions with the cashiers have been good 99% of the time though.

I do my primary shopping here and have never had any problems. The meat department guys are always going above and beyond. The management is always viable and helpful. YOU WILL NEVER STAND IN LINE AND WAIT! If they have available cashiers they will bring them up if the lines are long. Truly good people working here!

I came in to grab flowers, cake and cigarettes. I went to self check out and when I asked for assistance the lady seemed annoyed. Which I blew off due to them being a bit busy. Then I scanned my purchases and she scanned my cigarettes. I said thank you and went to get them and she said no. You pay 1st then you can have them. Excuse me !!!! I have never felt so embarrassed in my life. As if I wasn't going to pay for them. Just the other things I had scanned ???? I'm sorry But I won't be back. I've never been treated that way at any Smith's I use and have for 20 years !!! Simply awful.

I left my groceries in my cart after work to load up my child and forgot about them until the next morning. I walked in and was greeted warmly and told my groceries were on a list and waiting for me. Excellent customer service!!! Thanks for holding onto those for me.
