The ski resort is a really beautiful place that we come to enjoy. This time my wife and I also took Massage for a special day we have but unfortunately the experience turned into a really annoying day and not worth the expensive amount they demand. The staff is really unfriendly, some of the services such as the steam room did not work. The way and the distance until you get to the spa without any instructions is quite long and we waited at the reception for over 15 minutes to get service which made us get 35 minutes instead of the 60 minutes we ordered for $400. Probably another place that takes advantage of the beautiful location to provide less than good service and prices that are not worth it. I would totally give up for next time

Amazing spa day. Hot tub, pool, sauna, steam room, & great classes. We thoroughly enjoyed our yoga class. We will be back. Special shout out to Malea for making my birthday special.

If you are looking for the complete spa experience, might I suggest taking your business up the road and heading to the Stillwell Spa at the Snow Pine Lodge instead?Upon arrival, the Cliff Lodge itself is beautiful, and so are the views of the mountains. However, I was incredibly underwhelmed with the amenities provided. Including the refreshment station, which was dirty, the “relaxation room”, the lack of showers within the women’s locker room, and the one dust covered hairdryer provided.I have to say that the rooftop access was absolutely beautiful. That would be the reason to return but I would definitely opt for the $50 day pass and instead of spending nearly $200 on a spa service that was mediocre at best.Because there are so many day passes available, I did find that the spot was pretty crowded and it was not a very relaxing environment in my opinion. The hot tub was overcrowded and full of people that did not understand spa etiquette. Not everyone wants to hear about your sexual encounters.I am going to give the Cliff Spa the benefit of the doubt and say that the women’s locker room appearance, and functionality is the way that it is because of the ongoing remodel. However, it would have been nice to be offered a discount seeing that some of the amenities were not even available. All in all an overpriced, underwhelming experience.

Today was my first time at the cliff spa. I got a massage and a pedicure and the services along with staff were 5stars. They were professional, kind, friendly and made me feel great. However, the men’s locker room was frankly disgusting. The showers all share one drain. When I turned the water off my feet were being splashed with water (I hope) from the person showering next to me, there was a bloody bandage on the soap dispenser (all day), the men’s toilet was set up like something you would expect from a McDonalds and dirty on top of that, toilet paper stuck to the floor, there was literally no privacy to change, no hooks for clothes in shower, benches that top over, and the place was very crowded. Not relaxing AT ALL! Not what you would expect from a premier Utah resort. The gym was very well equipped, it has a nice yoga studio and the rooftop pool and jacuzzi was the best I’ve ever experienced. I would highly recommend the spa director to take a trip to skana spa at the turning stone casino to see what the #1 ranked spa in America (at least last I knew) is like and how it’s set up as it’s much better set up. Cliff spa has huge potential but it’s lacking dearly. All in all I had a good day but there’s definitely a lot of room for improvement.

We had a great experience here. My sister got a reiki massage and I got a lash lift. I do recommend setting up your appointments later than 4 hours into the day in case you can’t make it and need to cancel or postpone. If you cancel under 4 hours they will charge you for services. We almost had that issue and would’ve been charged $500 for services had we not been able to make. Seems ridiculous to me.The service was great. I wouldn’t say out of this world for the prices they charge but it was great. We got into the heated rooftop pool and hot tub and the view was spectacular. They gave us robes and sandals to use throughout our stay. We were offered tea (with no lids in sight oddly) they have a gym and yoga classes we could attend with our day pass. I think if I ever go back it will be just for the pool and yoga and gym rather than the services. It just seems like I can pamper myself elsewhere for a better price. My sister really enjoyed the reiki massage though.Valet parking was $20 it was incredibly difficult to find parking. My step mom who is disabled joined us and had to park on the road herself because valet didn’t know how to use her adapter which isn’t difficult to use. It was frustrating because she was put at risk for an injury because they couldn’t valet her parking, she was late and we were already in our appts so we couldn’t assist in that situation. I was really hoping she’d be in good hands considering what a “high end” place this is.Once you’re at the mouth of the canyon coming up expect about a 20 min delay or more with traffic, especially during the winter. Everyone is trying to get up to go skiing so traffic was pretty bad. Luckily the roads weren’t terrible with snow when we went so we didn’t have that issue. But you need to plan plenty of time to get to your appt 15 min early.

We just went to the spa on the 9th floor for a day pass but it was so nice! The steam room, hot tub, and salt water pool were the perfect escape for us. The bathrooms felt super pampered too. The views from the pool felt transformative and restorative.

Took my fiancé here for his bday. The spa is very nice . It’s small but we really enjoyed the steam room . He got a massage and I did the GAD 2 in 1 special which was a facial and a foot scrub. Our devices were great! He raved about his massage and I really enjoyed my foot scrub and facial. It was unlike any thing m ever had . I could only give 4 stars because due to a lightening warning, the pool and hot tub were closed so we didn’t really get to enjoy all the amenities. They did provide us with free passes to come back another time.

This week we stayed at the Cliff and got two lovely massages at the spa upstairs. We were very impressed to say the least! My masseuse (I believe her name is Emma) was extremely talented and accommodating; I would recommend requesting her if possible. I wasn’t planning on getting two massages during our stay but after the first one I just had to go again! Not to mention the views from the hot tub and all of the facilities are exceptional. I would highly recommend the spa if you’re looking for a relaxing time after a long day on the slopes or a fun day activity. We will certainly be back and make sure to send our family and friends up!

Beautiful place. The gym has great machines for cardio and a weight rack that goes up to 90 lb dumbells. However it is a little cramped. Wish the pool was colder (went in the summer) it was just a little colder than the hot tub, but still refreshing..there is a yoga studio as well. however the view is why I'm giving this 5 stars. Absolutely beautiful you're on the ninth floor of the building and as u can see from my photos the mountains are just too too astounding. Great day getaway.

Had a quick mid week girl's retreat this week at the Cliff Spa. Just what we needed to recharge. What a beautiful facility and wonderful amenities. My favorite was Yoga with Tiffany. Yoga does not come easily to me, and I was nervous to take the class, but so happy I did. Tiffany is knowledgeable, patient, and has the right energy to make anyone feel comfortable. I also enjoyed sitting outside in the hot tub with the large snowflakes hitting my head. Can not wait to come back.

I booked a yoga class and my friend booked a pedicure and we both thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. After our class and treatment we spent about two hours enjoying the rooftop pool and hot tub, the steam room and dry sauna. The facilities are nice and the staff is kind and helpful. Already planning a return visit.

Great way to spend a day. Pictures of the view from the spa area (first picture is the view at sunset from the spa’s gym). I’ve taken 2 of their workout classes and both were great, small groups and helpful instructors. The pool and hot tub get busier as the day goes on so I recommend starting early. The time I visited on a holiday weekend was busier and less clean so I recommend visiting on a non-holiday weekend. The facials are so worth it and their hair salon is wonderful as well.

My boyfriend and I booked a yoga class. It was great! Afterwards we went into the outdoor heated pool, then the sauna & steam room. If we had time we would have used the gym too! We want to stay here in the future for when we actually ski. It was an awesome lodge with ski in/out.

It is the worst storm of the season. Utah department of transportation is requiring chains on vehicles. In spite of the fact that I have no chains, the spa is saying that it is their policy that I drive up the canyon contrary to UDOT’s requirement or they will charge the full amount of the appointment. I looked up the bus schedule and it has all sorts of delays and unknowns due to the weather. Since it was a morning appointment I called as early as I could. With about 3 hours notice (plenty of time to alert their staff) I asked if we could delay or reschedule due to the safety of their staff and my sister and me. I wasn’t even trying to cancel, I actually love this spa and this is for my birthday! They said no. Also, they were very rude. They will say that this is their policy. Either I pay hundreds of dollars or put myself in harm’s way. Fine I accept that this is their policy. This is a one star review for a policy that doesn’t keep their staff or patrons safe. Ironically, I asked to speak to the manager but they won’t be in for 4.5 hours due to the weather. Hahahaha. Attempting the drive. Wish me luck.

The services provided much needed rest and relaxation. The views from the rooftop pool were nothing short of magnificent. And the yoga class was great. Hope to come back soon.

One luxury I indulge in are massages. Having received professional massages in the US and around the world, Madi, my massage therapist here at The Cliff Spa, was TOP 3. Elite!Physically, Madi’s skilled hands made me feel like a new person as well as provided one of the best night’s sleep ever.Mentally, Madi was very friendly, warm, professional and made me feel like a highly valued guest.Request Madi when booking a massage and promise you will not be disappointed.

The spa was under construction and they didn’t even give me a discount. Boxes and tools everywhere and tarps taped over the walls. The hot tub had way too much chlorine and made me super itchy and the fumes had me coughing. This place used to be nice with a great view, if you’re gonna go just try to find out if it’s under construction before you pay.

I got chemical burns and my bathing suit was bleached from the hot tub. I noticed the strong smell of chlorine/ bleach, my skin burning, and my bathing suit was a completely different bleached color. I showered off quickly to get the bleach off, then went to tell the front desk and show them my bathing suit. They couldn’t care less. They didn’t shut down the hot tub, in fact, they told me that the hot tub is good at regulating itself and that maintenance was recently there so they were sure it was fine (without checking it at all and me showing them the bleached suit). They said they’d call for maintenance but it would be a while bc they had been there recently. Again, they just didn’t care. They said I could try to get a reimbursement for the bathing suit if I filed a claim with the public safety office. My main concern wasn’t even the bathing suit, but the fact that the chlorine levels were so high and unsafe that it burned my skin and bleached my bathing suit. I contacted another group of people who were at the spa on the same day and their suits were completely bleached too. Really disappointed… and also my skin burns and my bathing suit is ruined.Update: I have showered multiple times since getting home hours ago and my skin *still* smells like chlorine 😩

Bot worth the 70 for pedicure. It doesn't feel like a spa more like a cheap hair salon 😩 nothing like a spa not relaxing at all also read the reviews about scheduling my husband booked pedicures for both of us when we got here they put me at 1 a clock and him at 2:00 well it's our one day child free it would of been nice to be done together. 00000 stars 🌟 save your money and go to a different spa that feels like a spa the Grand America in SLC next time

I love coming to the Cliff Spa during ski vacations, it’s perfect for relaxing after skiing all day, especially if you’re at the lodge without a car.Unfortunately, they've started a new reservation system that lets in a minimal amount of people every day, (considering how big the hotel and resort are) to just use the basic facilities.Oh, and they book up 4 weeks in advance for just spa access, not including treatments.Although you can buy a class or treatment to get in if it's booked, so it sounds like they have room, if you pay more for it.Apparently it's to reduce crowding and "maximize your experience" but l've been going to this spa for years and crowding has never been a major issue, the spa is huge.We all expect more people at the spa after 2pm on ski days.Wish they would change back to the flexibility of the old system.2023 Update:There is now a $30 per person penalty system for no shows in 4 hours for just spa access. A little annoying compared to the flexibility to use the spa facilities from the old system.Really wish they would go back to the old system, but unfortunately it seems to be turning into a money grab now.

It’s a little pricey but the place is cool. The pool area is nice. Sometimes the jacuzzi gets a little too hot but last time was great.

I have been a long time lover of the Cliff Spa at Snowbird, however, my experience today was very disappointing. The fact that you are still charging $50 for day use of a Spa that doesn't include (or advertise anywhere) that the use of the Sauna or Steam room is not available is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I know there was a discounted rate offered about a month ago a "renovation price" and that was not offered at this time. Questioning if I will return again :(

Every time I have the chance to go to the cliff spa I am reminded that it truly is one of the most tranquil and relaxing places in the valley. The pool and hot tub are lovely year round, but the eucalyptus steam room is what does it for me. Such an excellent way to recharge, especially when the air pollution in salt lake is all encompassing. The staff are very friendly and inviting, the ambiance is calming and the views are absolutely spectacular. Don’t miss out!

Ahhhhhh-mazing experience! This place is out of this world fantastic and set in just such a gorgeous surrounding, it was incredible. The place is just so nice! I had a couples massage and it was perfect, then the steam room afterwards was great. There's a sauna, pool and hot tub also available. Very tranquil space and lovely aura! Will be back for sure!

My sister took me to the Cliff Spa as a special treat when I came into town, and what a treat it was! We took a meditation class, and then had access to the heated pool and hot tub after that. The class was super relaxing, and I learned a lot of new techniques to calm my mind. After that, my sister and I got our complimentary teas, and hung out in the hot tub. I loved my experience here, and would recommend it for anyone looking to have an enjoyable time. ♥️

I have never been so relaxed in my life. I went to the adults only pools and just basked... In other areas of the resort there are incessantly screaming children that just... Ruin it for everyone else who's trying to get away from the world, and poor parenting. Maybe my family was the exception, but I and my siblings were well behaved always. We kept quiet, enjoyed our time, said excuse me.But when you can manage to dodge the brats, you really can have just an amazing, tranquil time.

My favorite spa in Utah!! The views and sunsets are incredible year round. Every massage I’ve gotten here has been so relaxing! Plus, the other facilities are never overcrowded so you can enjoy the sauna and hot tub without having anyone up in your personal space. Best place for a couples getaway or a girls trip!

I’m sure if I had gotten a massage or facial it would be a different story, as the atmosphere was beautiful and inviting. But unfortunately I only booked a pedicure, which is why I give it 1 star. I paid $75 for a pedicure that didn’t even last half an hour. There was no dead skin removal from my heels or around my toes or callus removal, no parrafin wax, no hot stone, and no foot or leg massage. and they charged $20 just to remove the polish that was there. But I think my least favorite part was the unhygienic practices being done there. There was no liner for the foot tub and they didn’t scrub it after just filled it with water and dumped cleaner in it and let it run. And then after they were done with the tools on feet they went to the sink, while I was still there and used a reusable dish scrubber to clean the tools off. If I’m paying $90 (with tip) for a spa service I expect spa quality services. Not a pedicure that looks like my niece did it and a toe infection from unhygienic spa practices
