THE PHARMACIST WAS CRUEL TO MY DYING MOTHERI recommend that everyone get their prescriptions filled ANYWHERE else but here. I personally quit going here over a year ago because they were always very rude and showed zero compassion. I felt like a number in an assembly line. They 'group' up in the back and snicker about patients like rude high school kids. You feel like you have zero privacy. They would also loudly announce what prescriptions I was filling when my neighbors were in line behind me. Now, on to how they treated my mother today. Recently, my mom came up from St George to undergo treatment at the Huntsman Cancer Center. For the sake of having her prescriptions transferred back and forth (which they are actually HORRIBLE at and treat you like you are causing them problems), she opted to do Walgreens. My mom, who is clearly very visibly sick, went in to get her prescriptions, and of course, there was an issue. They treated her positively horribly! She was just trying to figure out what the problem was, and the pharmacist very rudely told her that if she asked about there being a 'mistake' again, she could find another pharmacy. She came home in tears! ZERO compassion. ZERO Humanity. Medication is part of healthcare. Walgreens - if you cannot hire people who understand that, please, get out of the game. I will never use Walgreens again. For anything. Ever. Do yourself a favor, tell all your family and friends to take their medication needs anywhere but here.

Horrible attitude from the pharmacy, not only that tech but the female manager.Just moved all of Rx’s to outside of the Walgreens network, which is sad since I’ve been going here since 2007 and it’s a mile from my home.Judging by the other recent reviews on here, you have a problem at this location Walgreens.

Update 12/28/23: After waiting 36 minutes on hold to talk to a live person at the pharmacy, the call was disconnected. Lowering from 2 to 1 star. Previous review has been written last year.Long holds, long waits, slow service. Need to hire more staff.I've heard "we're sorry, our staff is answering other calls" far too many times while simply waiting to speak with someone.No matter the time of day, I end up wishing I had gone somewhere else.

Well organized store. Always clean, well stocked and I find what I need. Helpful & Friendly staff. I appreciate the Pharmacy drive up for convenience. However, they seem quite short staffed @ drive up window for the Pharmacy since COVID-19 pandemic. Hopefully they will resolve this issue.

I’ve lived in this area for 7 years and this Walgreens remains one of the slowest I’ve ever been too. I try to avoid it but it’s the closest drug store near me by a lot. They have the slowest cashiers in the history of all cashiers. My average time of standing in line is 5-10 mins. And that’s usually with 1-2 people in front of me. The people who work here don’t even try to create the appearance of hurrying to help someone. It feels like the company policy is to move in slow motion at all times.

Speaking with pharmacy takes 10-15 minutes on hold then talking with 2 different people. We pay with good Rx and EVERY time we fill a prescription it’s delayed as the pharmacy doesn’t know how mediation will be paid for. Often prescription is sent to pharmacy but we don’t hear anything until we call and initiate process of getting it filled. Best of all we were paying a lot more at Walgreens. We eventually found a much better option. GO TO MEYERS PHARMACY! THEY EVEN DELIVER! THEY ANSWER THE PHONE.

Terrible wait time for their drive through every single time. Even if there is only one vehicle there. Maybe short staffing issues? Regardless I changed pharmacies, it’s quicker to drive to one that’s farther away from me than going here. Took me 25 minutes today with one car in front of me.

I do not recommend using this pharmacy at all. The only staff member who listens and is attentive is the pharmacist. The rest of the staff is rude, they don't listen and don't care if they help you or not. You can never get a straight answer about prescriptions.

If I could give a zero I would. Went there to grab a few necessities on my way home. While looking at the cosmetics an older Hispanic lady snapped at one of the workers for using the restroom claiming she didn’t tell anyone she was going on break. The worker stated she just went to the restroom and the older lady snapped “ok” back at her. This isn’t the first time that I have witnessed this older Hispanic lady snapping, yelling, or berating workers over simple things in front of customers. The young lady that checked me out thankfully was very polite and somewhat eased my nerves. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name. I just know it started with a J. Walgreens really needs to pay attention to how upper employees treat other employees. Customer service isn’t just about how you treat just the customers. It’s also about how you treat employees and if you have to belittle employees your customer service skills are lacking and it shows the kind of person you really are. I’m seriously considering switching to CVS maybe they know how to train their employees to be kind to everyone.

The staff at this pharmacy really excel at being as rude as possible. It’s quite impressive. Swimming across an ocean takes less time than this pharmacy does to fill one prescription.

DO NOT GO HERE! The pharmacy staff is ignorant, careless, entitled, and frankly don’t know what they are doing. I can’t believe how horrible their customer service is. I will make sure everyone I know never goes here again.

I like the staff here. Especially the elderly gentleman who works at the front, he’s so kind and friendly. The pharmacy however is hit or miss. A lot of the staff is unfriendly. Today they turned us away for walk in Covid shots, said they didn’t have enough staff to give them but there were no customers at that time but us and there were three of them. She said to come back in the afternoon (when they are usually super busy) The girl told me to make an appointment and when I looked the next appointment was in 20 minutes. Umm… ok. Customer service would entail taking the time to do it since we were there even if that leaves you short for 10-15 min.

Just don’t fill your prescription here. They have an impossible phone system. I’ve tried multiple times to see if it was user error and CANNOT get a live body on the phone to check status or ask questions. Waited for 28 mins on hold just now and hung up. GO TO SMITHS ACROSS THE STREET

The pharmacy team here is outstanding! They have cheerfully helped me with several insurance issues, and with medication availability issues. This is my favorite pharmacy. These days they can get a little busy from 3 PM - 4 PM and 5 PM - 7 PM, but I think that's because they're increasingly popular, and only so many people can fit in the drive-thru at once. Pro tip: if there are cars on both sides of the drive-thru, stick to the right hand lane. The left hand lane can move slower sometimes because that's where they do COVID tests.

This is the worst Walgreens ever. This isn't the first bad experience we've had here, but I'm writing a review for this experience. The pharmacy gave my mom pills that were a different color than what she normally gets, and they looked the same as some other medication she takes. With her cataracts, she was unable to tell the difference between the pills, which could be very dangerous for her. When she called them after we got home, they said, "sorry, nothing we can do". So we called the Walgreens on 9400 S & 700 E. and the pharmacist there was wonderful. Said he would make some calls first thing the next morning and try to get her old pills in for her, and would also call her insurance company and explain what happened so they would cover the second bottle of pills. It is well worth driving the extra few miles to the 700 E Walgreens where we know we'll be taken care of and appreciated as customers.

The pharmacy workers were incredibly rude to me. I went out and cried in my car after leaving. I didn’t even get the prescription I need for my baby and they didn’t offer any help in getting it. I am never returning to this store.

Walgreens constantly asks for a review of their customer service. I hope all Walgreens don’t run their operation like this one. If you want great service from your pharmacy in the Sandy area, try CVS at 700 East 9000 south. Good luck.

The pharmacy refilled the wrong prescription when I asked them to transfer my prescriptions. When I called to let them know they gave me the wrong prescription they were not going to refund me. I only received a refund because my husband went into the pharmacy and overheard the workers talking bad about me and called them out on their unprofessionalism. They have lost my business.

My mother and I had a passport photo taken at another store yesterday and they were hideous. We looked like zombies. 🧟‍♀️We went in to Walgreens today and talked to Thelma in the photo section of the store. She took a new photo, showed it to me for approval, adjusted the color and viola! It turned out perfectly. She was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. I’ll be getting my photos of all kinds done at Walgreens from now on.Thanks Thelma!!!

Been using this pharm. for years. Didn’t know how good I had it until I tried to fill at a pharmacy in Vegas. Let me tell you, we have it really good here in Sandy. Usually have it ready after about an hour of July doctor calling it in. In Vegas I was there all week, and I couldn’t get it filled.

I love shopping drugstore for makeup, but this particular spot doesn’t carry a lot of brands that other spots do! However, they makeup for it by showing me alternatives. Super friendly staff, and easy to navigate.

Changed to this walgreens location from the cottonwood store...such an amazing improvement. Great pharmacy customer service..correct priscption filled in a timely manner. My new favorite pharmacy..
