Feb 15th, 2024:If you follow me or my lead, you should follow what I say with particular interest. Just like you would follow a horse to water. Fixing By Involvement in doing things. That's what they're all about here. Boat loads employees here just standing around. I guess, they're working though. Like working the area, or working a crime scene, or working a stakeout, ready to pounce on a suspect. At least they don't hover like a helicopter or drone. Doing what they're paid to do, I'm thinking???Plants are the oxygen of life and the more you have the better you feel and the better your yard feels. You can get them here, you can get them in the garden department, and you can get them at a decent price. Sometimes you can get them for cheap, if they have a discount section. Beware though, they may be a little ugly, but with care and kindness, they will thrive in your yard. Talk to your plants: tell them how good they look; tell them they're special; tell them you care for them and they'll respond with affection for you! Get them here, where Doers go!

I didn’t get his last name, but Ahmed was walking out of Home Depot last night on his way home after his shift was over, He saw me standing by the key machine to get some keys made (I’d been standing there for a good 5-10 minutes) and asked if he could help. He looked around and decided that it would be best if he stepped in and helped me even though he was technically off work. I said no I could wait because I needed 6 keys. He said no don’t worry about it and got me taken care of. He deserves some recognition for outstanding customer service! Thank you Ahmed, I really appreciated your help.

wouldn’t give me a return for a tool i just bought and never opened, i had just bought a tool which i wasnt given a receipt for, i bought it the day before and even after giving them my id they couldn’t do anything for me and to make it worse i didnt have a use for the tool as it was for a work project im not involved in, and i wont be reimbursed as its the wrong specification of tool which is why i was returning it in the first place, nice too see how poorly this place accommodates customers

At every Home Depot you have to find that one guy that knows a little bit about everything and about the store to find out where anything is... This home Depot doesn't have that guy. I'm not there to waste time, I'm there because I need a product or a tool to get my project done. They just love to waste time because it's not their time, I needed to order a tool because they don't have it in stock. Noone knew how to do it, Home Depot has become a joke, lots of younglings standing around earning a paycheck and they don't have a clue.

I go to the Home Depot constantly they have the best tools there, their Husky tools are awesome I have one of their 56 inch wide Toolboxes and I love it, it's the best Toolbox I've ever had. They also exclusively carry Milwaukee, Ridgid and Ryobi power tools in addition to DeWalt and Makita power tools. I personally use Milwaukee and Ridgid cordless power tools and at this time I have 47 of them and 27 batteries. Plus a ton of hand tools I have bought there, my 56 inch wide Husky Toolbox is completely full of tools including a lot of my powertools and batteries and a lot of Husky hand tools and other brands you can only get at Home Depot like Milwaukee, Klein, Empire, Kapro, ToughBuilt etc. I buy all of my power tools and most of my hand tools from Home Depot. Plus they have basically everything I need when I'm doing repairs and upgrades around my house and they also have everything I need for when I'm doing projects. Below you can see lots of pics of the power tools, hand tools, my Husky Toolbox and also some other things I got from Home Depot.

No issues with tool or truck rental. Multiple visits to this location. Quick checkout and help to the items I need. Seen some bad reviews. Not sure if it was a single trip or not. But my rating based on 5+ visits. Like the employees and selections. Just wish they would reduce the price of dying plants or open or broken products like Lowe's rather than write it off. Military discount honored.

We went to check out some new kitchen appliances and counter tops. They left me browse, I like that. The one thing I have never seen before was a workshop for kids! The cutest thing some were wearing Home Depot mini aprons...omg the class was full a total surprise.

Super clean store, super friendly staff that even said hi to me. I definitely recommend this store for another fact it wasn't that crowded, maybe it was just me. This is one of the better home Depot I've been to😁

Friendly staff! Always helpful, sometimes get you pointed in the wrong direction but it's a big store and those things can happen.Lots of great sales. Clean grounds and very organized.

While shopping at this store one of their shopping carts rolled down their sloped parking lot and must of gained quite a bit of momentum as it slammed into my car door causing significant damage. They referred me to their insurance company (Sedgwick) who is by far the absolute worst. After giving me the run around for over 2 weeks they just flat out wouldn't cover the damage and said that Home Depot wasn't liable and I had to prove that they were. Bottom line is their property damaged my property and now I am expected to pay my insurance a $500 deductible to get it fixed!? Oh and they told me that if someone doesn't put their cart away and the wind blows the cart down the parking lot into your car that they aren't liable even in that situation! Seriously what a joke. If you value your property then I definitely wouldn't park it in their parking lot because they clearly don't value you as a customer or your property. Shame on you Home Depot for using an insurance company like Sedgwick...although I also tried filing a complaint with Home Depot and never heard back from them either.

Doing some moving and it had all the packing materials that I would need for boxes, bubble wrap, stretch wrap, tape, cardboard dividers, and much more. It is a clean store that is in a good location right next to a Trader Joe's and a Cycle Gear. The moving stuff is to the back right hand side of the store.

Service, there is always above average. At least at this particular Home Depot. I got some great help from Payton and paint and from a guy named Zac over in Fasteners, and John. Well, John found us when we were between Isles, and he made sure we got to the right place. I like how they have people who are knowledgeable, and have a very customer-oriented kind of attitude everywhere there. I'm also very grateful for the bright orange aprons to let me know who to ask questions of.

I placed an online order to be delivered (for a fee) to my job site in 2 days. The order consisted of roofing materials, vinyl siding materials and some landscape block. The day of delivery I receive a phone call from the store stating not all of my materials are going to be delivered due to limited space on the delivery truck. I was instructed by Sid to call their customer service number to arrange and PAY for an additional delivery. Sid blamed me for "not selecting enough pallet space on the delivery truck at checkout". Since when was it the customer's responsibility to select how much truck space they want/need to use? After calling the customer service number they connected me to the store again to resolve the issue... HELLO SID! Sid was less than professional stating "I guess I'll help you since they aren't able to". Sid said she would get back to me with a delivery date later that day. I didn't hear anything from Sid until I visited my local store the next day to inquire about my pending delivery. After Jenny (Tooele, kudos!) and I sat on hold for over an hour, we hung up and called back to find Sid had gone to lunch while we were on hold. Sid called me about an hour after to inform me of my delivery 3 days after the original scheduled date.After receiving the missing portion of my order I find I am still missing parts. Trying to get ahold of her when calling the store is much like trying to reach Santa clause. Near impossible! I am not impressed with her lack of professionalism. I am not impressed with her berating customers for her lack of planning. The delivery drivers openly shared their frustrations with the sandy store (114th). When the second delivery was picked up, it was not prepared for travel. Driver was told to "just strap it down, I don't care if it arrives broken".Where is the Integrity?We should be building friendships not hatred.Kudos to the 2 drivers contracted to deliver (great integrity and respect)Kudos to the Tooele store for their willingness to help find resolution. Jenny went above and beyond in an effort to help get to the bottom of it!

Home Depot is Home Depot and I rarely have a bad experience there. Everybody's helpful, everybody's nice.I've had so many people at all the different Home depots in Salt Lake City be helpful and kind and show me what I need and teach me how to do it....This day I was looking for a ceiling fan to match two that I have in my living room already. They were installed before I moved in. I think I might have found what I'm looking for... But then I saw these awesome shells for my garage to help me get it more organized before the snow flies.... Listen up everybody, it's going to get cold and there's going to be snow and you definitely want to be able to park your car in your garage! So now's the time to get that figured out!

Rude employees and the worst customer service. I went to return a nail gun and they wouldn’t give me the price I paid for the gun because the gun was now on sale even with the receipt. Don’t bother going to this location.

I am right now waiting to get a couple keys made and after waiting for about 20 minutes I called the store at 7:43 and it is now 8:14 and I am still waiting. Horrible service. Another lady just came up and she went to the front to ask again and she was told we don’t have enough people. This is ridiculous!! So 8:36 and I’m out the door! Finally a young man by the name of Denilson who had helped me before came to try to help with the keys. Thank goodness for him, Mohamed and Justin for coming to the rescue. Cause by this time not only was I still waiting but I was joined by 3 other people!! A big thank you to those 3 men and Carolee in the paint dept!!

I waited probably 20 min for someone to finally come help in the paint department after another person in line went and found someone to help us. And then as I waited for my paint I was browsing what else I’d need for my project . Carolee came by with a different customer and physically pushed my cart to get out of her way. Then she proceeded to yell at someone to wait for assistance across the store . Seemed unprofessional and a little rude .

I absolutely love This Home Depot. Every employee is friendly, helpful and fun. From management down to cashier they put so much into training and customer relationships. I go to Home Depot 3 plus times per week and the Sandy store is by far my favorite!! I had to go last night for personal paint products and I brought my son with me. Jake and Nick made it so fun for my son. He kept talking about them long after we left. They made such a great impression I think he wants to apply the minute he gets big enough. 😊

Not enough checkers to get people out the door fast enough. Lines are always too long. and no one is ever available to help. There never seems to be an assistant manager anywhere trying to fix the issues or problems with the long lines and God forbid they just put more people on the check stands especially when the self checkouts are few in number. Wouldn't it be obvious to get people out of the lines much faster so that we're not all standing here for long periods at a time so close to each other especially during covid-19

This Home Depot is a great one. It seems clean, well run, and efficient. The workers here are what makes the difference. They will walk you to the item you are looking for, and are very helpful and knowledgeable. Today, the associate in the Flooring Department, Aspen, was very accommodating with cutting a piece of artificial turf for us for an uncommon use. It was a very small piece for a craft project and she was enthusiastic and supportive of it, even though it meant quite a bit of work for her for less than a $15 piece of turf. Very positive experience overall.

Called ahead for a leaf blower but got put on hold and sent around forever. All I needed was for someone to go check if something was available, anyone could’ve done it. Finding and locating a leaf blower is not just limited to the garden department, do better.
