My pup Salem absolutely loves all the staff and has a blast every day she comes here. She's always so excited to go inside and is always tuckered out by the end of the day.I 100% would always take my dog here all the time, even if I didn't work for Thrive. I can say confidently that this is the best dog boarding facility I've ever been to OR worked for.

Utah Dog Park - Airport is a wonderful boarding facility! They take excellent care of all pets staying with them. The staff is friendly and attentive to whatever needs your pet has.Our senior dog recently developed diabetes and Utah Dog Park was one of the only facilities we found that can administer their insulin shot! Located in the same building as a vet clinic (which is just as amazing!), you can rest assured your pet will be well cared for.Side note - our senior dog has often had a difficult time boarding and regularly developed stress colitis. Since starting at Utah Dog Park, they no longer get as stressed and seem to enjoy their stay there. 10/10 would recommend!

I have been taking my dogs to Utah Dog Park for over 10 years and they are one of the best facilities for all-inclusive pet care in downtown SLC, UT. I recently took in an 11yo poodle mix rescue that is blind and deaf that requires grooming. I was nervous caring for a disabled dog but have encounter a lot of amazing help along the way and Utah Dog Park is one of them. I was worried the groomer at UDP would have a hard time with Stevie but she is truly a miracle worker. The rest of the staff are just as spectacular. Thanks guys

We are avid fans of this dog boarding location right in SLC. We always know they treat our dogs so well. I love the fact that our pups are not locked up during the day like most boarding and have free roam to go inside and outside! Anytime there is an issue- for example- my pup got diarrhea and they called me straight away to ask how to proceed. They listened to me and took wonderful care of my girls! I truly love this dog boarding- so much so- I got my best friend to switch to this one too!! We could not be happier! We trust and know our dogs are always taken care of! Thank you Utah dog park! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We have used UT Dog Park multiple times. Clean. Efficient. But they need to make their sign in documentation more on-line so that you can deliver your pups with all the paper work done. And not have to fill out additional papers at the counter. This makes the transfer more of a challenge than it has to be.

I’ve been taking my dogs here for daycare and boarding for over 2 years and have never had a negative experience. I feel at ease leaving my dogs here and know the staff will take good care of them. It is also great having a vet at the same location.

Nice place to board your dogs! They have a lot of rules to get in ( meet and greet, fecal exam etc) but that makes us feel better to know all dogs there are healthy and have good temperament. Plus the cameras are a plus!

It has been five years and my dog still has separation anxiety.Long and short, they gave my dog to the wrong person. A flight attendant. They made excuses for her and said what a good pet owner she is…. But my dog was maybe half the size of the dog the staff was ARGUING me with. Yes, I know what my dog looks like and my dog knows and comes to his name. Not a common name so there is no way on this green earth they had the same name. They gave gave the wrong food… I know this because had diarrhea like when he was on a different type of food. And while I will never forgive the flight attendant who mistook my 8 pound white and brown dog for your 20 plain white…. I think it’s a disgrace how the OWNER gave me her name after giving me my dog.

My dog Kingston has been going to this location since moving to the area about 3 months ago. They have been great and have had no issues with daycare or boarding. Plus they have a vet next door if anything were to happen

We've been bringing our dog here for over 4 years and we love it. Our dog loves it even more. The staff are so welcoming and excited to see him that it makes it easy to leave him in their hands. Highly recommend.

This was the first time I put my puppy Labrador into a doggy daycare and this place was great! The owner of the place was kind and welcoming, people were knowledgeable and were very understanding of my specific needs for my 4 month old, the process went smoothly and the prices are affordable. Would highly reccommend!

My dog suffers from separation anxiety and cannot be left alone at home, for that reason my husband and I decided to leave him in daycare. And so far Utah Dog Park has been very diligent and careful with my dog. Thanks for everything!

Very happy with the week our dog spent with the great people at Dog Park. I was more than happy to bring my dog in to get screened, knowing that it meant the other dogs had done it a well, after the last place we boarded him at left him with a large bite wound. It's no wonder this place has won best in state 3 years in a row. Our little guy was happy and worn out when we picked him up.

I'm giving one star because the front desk person was polite and friendly however beyond that I'm not going to bring either of my dogs back here and I'm going to share my experience here in the hopes that explains why you to as someone reading reviews shouldn't either:We went to Bear Lake last weekend and boarded our two dogs. At no point during the stay did Utah Dog Park reach out to advise an incident occurred nor did they tell us when we picked our dogs up (07/02/2023) that an incident occurred. But we noticed on our ride home one of them had some dried blood around his ear and we made an appointment with our vet. After speaking with our vet this morning (07/07/23), it turns out he came home with a 2 inch laceration that bisects cartilage in his ear and requires stitches. Utah Dog Park was completely aware of the injury because they glued the cut together thinking it would be sufficient.I'm not mad that an incident occurred - I am however completely disgusted that Utah Dog Park couldn't even be bothered contact us or our emergency contact to notify us or ensure that my pet received proper care for his injury. Had I known I likely would have made a more urgent visit to my Vet.

My very friendly golden doodle has come home from daycare at the Utah Dog Park with stitches not once, not twice, but THREE times (not to mention the Giardia that he picked up there). I know, shame on me for bringing him back after the first (and second) time. I had been taking him to daycare there about 2-3 times per week for about 1.5 years. Every time he gets injured they assure me that he was not the instigator. Yesterday, I was told he was just minding his own business when he was attacked by another dog. Does the offending dog get kicked out of daycare you may ask? Oh, only if he becomes a repeat offender! And yes, I am left with the hundreds of dollars in vet bills.I'm torn about leaving this review because the Utah Dog Park has been really integral in helping me feel like I wasn't neglecting my dog when I work too much. The staff are always very friendly and greet Max by name. I frankly don't know what I'm going to do now but I can't in good conscious continue to put my dog in that situation. He doesn't deserve that and neither do your dogs!

Our first choice for our fur babies whenever we go out of town. The web cams allow us to watch them throughout the day and there is always human supervision. Keep up the great work

We are the ridiculously overprotective doggie parents of 2 St. Bernard youngsters. One of our fur babies has difficult to control epilepsy and not just any old day care/boarding facility will do. Veterinarian services there are outstanding and we absolutely appreciate them looking at a holistic approach and / or "outside the box" therapies. It's a comfort to know that if something happens, the vet is right there to care for them. The grooming staff is fabulous as well, even with 2 giants who hate pedicures.

Utah dog park is top notch. They take such good care of your pets. I never feel like I have to worry when they are in the hands of Utah dog park. They care so much and offer you amazing amenities for you pets. I love the webcam feature to check in on my dogs or the a unity to text and get updates. I checked the webcam to check on our dogs and I saw a staff member giving them love and attention and it made me feel so appreciate if their people. I would absolutely recommend this as an amazing and safe place for your pets.

They are awesome! I was in Utah for work and thought it would be a good idea to take my puppy with me. He loves his kennel so thought he'd be fine in it while I worked...I was very wrong. I tried finding someone through Rover, which was near impossible and taking more time that I had. A friend recommended this place so I messaged them and they promptly replied. They got me in that day, to evaluate my boy to make sure he would get along with other dogs, and then he was in doggy day care the next day. They have videos so I could watch him online and the dogs all seemed so happy and attended to! He had a blast and received more socialization. Plus, he was exhausted by the end of the day and relaxed! I would have expected to pay so much more than I did and it would have been worth it but the cost was a third of what Rover was going to be. On top of all of that the employees there actually love dogs!!!❤️. Seems silly to say but these days you just don't know. Thank you to everyone for loving on my Hawken boy!!!

When I was looking to board my precious baby, I wanted to find the best place. When I visited Utah Dog Park I knew I had found it and I wasn’t wrong. I’ve taken my dog here countless times! I love how they have outdoor and indoor options and they have cameras in both so you can always keep an eye on your furry baby. They always have a human with them too and they spend all they outside. Other places keep your dog in the kennel all day, I didn’t want that for mine! Also, the prices are really fair.

DO NOT board your dog here. If your dog is attacked while staying there they will only cover the cost for the dog to see their own vet. And that’s just the fee to see the vet they don’t cover any services. My dog was attacked while he was there and none of their staff even told me!! I noticed a wound on my dog’s eye when I brought him home and because I took him to the emergency vet rather than their own clinic, they won’t compensate for anything. Not only that but they tried to accuse me of lying that that incident happened while he was in their care because their staff didn’t make a note of it during his stay. Totally insane! I only boarded my dogs there because they always have vacancy…. Now I know why!!

First and last time, hair cut is uneven, charged me a whopping 77. Could have just paid 55 if I wanted an uneven cut, down the street at the Utah School of Pet grooming. Plus they want a fecal examination. I understand the idea of asking for one but it’s seriously like an STI or drug test. It’s only good for literally the day you get it done. The dog can contract flagellates minutes after getting tested.Redeeming factors, they were quick ( wonder why now) and she smelled good.

I have used many boarders around the country. None have required a fecal test every six months like Utah Dog Park. I see this as a money-grab, plain and simple. Over $50 and "conveniently" the on-site vet clinic will take care of it which is suspicious to me. And they'll take your dog in advance of the results so what purpose does that serve if it turns out positive? And it didn't help me very much either. On top of that, after one boarding visit I had to take my dog to the ER late at night after coming back from a long trip. He had serious diarrhea, which they didn't bother to even tell me about when I picked him up. When I called the next day they said they had noticed but "forgot" to tell me, and they proceeded to blame the receptionist. Excuse me, but it should not be *possible* for a dog to become sick without immediately calling the owner, and having a system that allows for a dog to be released without notice. To blame the lowest employee is ridiculous. So basically be prepared for a $100 yearly "fee" for daycare/boarding, but don't assume they'll even notify you if your dog gets dangerously ill. This was a very convenient boarder and unfortunately the best I found despite this. But I was worried I was taking a risk with my dog's well-being when I used them.

This is the 3rd time we've boarded our dog with Utah Dog Park at the airport location. We love them! They take great care of our pup while we're away. We love that we can check in on him from out of town via live web cams. We love that he gets to move freely & interact with lots of other dogs. We love that there's a vet on staff. He's never been sick or hurt while we've been away but this gives us peace of mind. We cant say enough about what a great place this is!

Outstanding friendly staff. We always use Utah Dog Park when we go on vacation. It's comforting and a real peace of mind to know our dogs are being taken care of while having fun at the same time. We check in on them every day by viewing the various web cams so we can see them playing with the other dogs. There are always staff members in the rooms interacting with the dogs. If you haven't decided on a boarding facility, I highly recommend Utah Dog Park.

This place is the best! They show true love and affection for our dogs. Our dog has gone there for nearly 4 years. Now our puppy goes there too. We have never had anything but the best experience. It is so nice to know my pups are having a good time and are in good hands. With the full veterinary clinic on site, if any injuries occurred, there's someone there to address it immediately. I could not recommend it more.

We left our dog with Utah Dog Park for the first time last week and they did a great job! The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating, and clear in their instructions. I really like the fact that they have a veterinarian on site, and staff on site 24 hours in case of emergencies. Our pooch was happy and energetic when we picked her up. Now she's pooped after a week of fun. We will definitely leave her there again when we can't take her out of town with us.
