Merry and her crew are that rare blend of reliable, consistent and professional mixed with the heart of someone who will love and care for your pets as you do. Not everyone in the business of pets does it as an act of Service as well as a business, but Merry does. They have taken care of my two cats, one 20 years old and one 11 years old for 15 months now and allowed me to leave town for work regularly and lovingly cared for my cat that needed daily medication, varying dietary requirements and through several health challenges. I was able to leave knowing my sweet, fragile kitty would be taken care of well. They also bring in mail, packages, water plants, empty litter boxes and play with kitties. I had moved neighborhoods and needed good care. When I read Merry's story on the website, I was moved and I knew she was the one. Merry Pets greatly exceeded my expectations and provided the very best service and care. And Merry herself has the biggest heart. Highly recommend them if you want the very best, most attentive and caring team to care for your pet family members.

I love Merry Pets and all of the services they provide!! I have two pups and I work at a job where my hours can be very different depending on the month, and sometimes I’m not able to take the dogs out during the day. I contacted Merry and she was super responsive and positive, and got the dogs set up on their regular hiking schedule!! I love that Merry and her team are able to come to the house and pick up the dogs. It’s great that they get to go with a small group of other dogs to help with socialization and the pups seem so happy from their adventure when I get home from work. I also love that Merry sends photos from the hikes!! It makes me so happy and I know that they are in great hands!!! I would definitely recommend Merry Pets!

I love Merrys Pets! I was out of town for the weekend and had Merry check in on my cat a few times per day. I am a first time pet owner and had never left my cat alone before. Merry came to my apartment to meet me and my cat before I left and took detailed notes. She sent photo updates while I was away. When I came home, my cat was happy and well cared for. Additionally, my home was spotless! I was able to enjoy myself while away knowing that my kitty was in good care. Thanks Merry!

My family (people and pets, of course) loves Merry Pets! They are flexible, make all sorts of accommodations as needed, and are great at solving problems so your pet's experience is perfect. I have three dogs that all go on hikes twice weekly and they love all the hikers they've been out with, and Merry has been helpful in making sure all their quirks are managed (ie. eating sticks and other trail garbage). I highly recommend Merry Pets to anyone looking for the best dog walking and dog care service around.

I've had the Merry Pets team watch my animals when gone. They do a great job! Group or individual dog walks. Check ins for feeding and brushing my cat. They even keep an eye on the snake tank humidifier and give it water when needed. Reasonably priced, friendly. I highly recommend!

Merry Pets is amazing! We have been using their in-home petsitting services for over 6 years now. We just returned from a 10-day vacation totally satisfied with the care and love Merry and her sitters/walkers provide. All of the staff are knowledgeable pet-lovers. Everyone who has cared for our 3 dogs and 3 cats has been terrific... We even have a dog with health problems that thrived while we were away. They are respectful of our home and consistently check in to let us know all is well. We have also used their dog-hiking services with great pleasure! I recommend Merry Pets emphatically!

I can't say enough great things about Merry Pets! I hired them to take my dogs on hikes and it was the best thing I cold have ever done for pets and myself. The whole hiking crew is amazing! They love my dogs and take extra special care of them. They send me pictures from the trail which make me super happy when I see they are having so much fun. My dogs are getting the exercise they need and one of my dogs who was getting a little chubby has lost weight. I can tell my dogs are so much happier and healthier because of their hikes with Merry Pets. I completely trust them and I know the whole crew is passionate about animals and their well being. I so appreciate Merry and her team. We have just started using Merry's Pets. They have taken good care of my two dogs and even my daughter's rat. They have been trust worthy and caring. If you need something at a very specific time, this might not be a good fit, but they always show up within 15-20 minutes of promised time and my big puppy is worn out. I only mention this as someone who is normally has a tight schedule, but with a more flexible schedule, their timing works just fine. They seem caring and reliable. I'm happy to have found them.

I've used Merry Pets multiple times for cat sitting my two cats while I was traveling, for trips up to two weeks in length. Merry and her staff have always taken excellent care of my pets. I find it extremely stressful to leave my animals in the hands of someone new, and I feel I was fortunate to find Merry Pets quickly after moving to Salt Lake. Merry would provide text updates while I was away (including pictures sometimes) so I would know the animals were doing well. I always returned home to find the litter box clean and the cats fed, watered, and happy. She would also always check in after I was back to make sure I had returned on schedule and that the animals did not need further care. Wonderful service providing peace of mind, and I would recommend to anyone looking for pet sitting!

Merry Pets did an excellent job with our older dog this past year. He loved his dog hikes in the summer and fall. We were able to switch to neighborhood dog walks when the weather cooled. The owner is compassionate, patient and an excellent communicator. We love Merry!!

We love Merry Pets!! We have a very timid and anxious rescue chihuahua. They were very patient and kind to her and didn’t pressure her when they came over to check on her while we were away. They cleaned up her puppy pads and checked on everything we asked. They were very thorough. We couldn’t be happier with the service and peace of mind they provided. We moved to Utah recently and were delighted to see great reviews on our neighbourhood group website. We have had an excellent house sitter twice now, and she has taken great care of my old cat, my birds, and kept my plants watered and happy through very hot weather, so I thoroughly recommend Merrypets. I've had Merry Pets take my dogs out for hikes twice a week for the past 6 months or so and my boys love it! When I come home from work, they're tired out and it makes me feel good to know they weren't cooped up all day. When I went on vacation, I asked Merry Pets to take the dogs hiking extra days that week to give my pet sitter a break. Even though I didn't give them much notice, they were able to fit me in! Merry Pets is fantastic. We use them to take care of our two cats when we go out of town. Our pet sitter is always flexible to any changes with our cats' routines - which is especially helpful since one is diabetic and gets three different medications with his meals. We used Merry Pets for daily dog walking. Great communication, friendly, and super reliable. All of the dog walkers were fantastic. When we needed to add a nightly walk or a weekend walk, we always knew that we could count on Merry and her crew of dog walkers to get him taken care of. The only reason why we stopped using them was because we moved out of state. Would highly recommend!

I just got a picture of our Labrador out on a hike and it made my day! Thanks Merry!We've been sending our dog on hikes with Merry pets for a couple of years now, since she was a pup. Even before our current dog we had an older difficult Black Lab that Merry worked with for weeks and weeks to make him comfortable with the car and other dogs to get him out on the trail with the pack, something I never imagined our beloved anxious old lab would ever be able to do.I can't think of anyone I trust more than Merry to leave my dog and cat with when we go out of town.When we were out of town, a concerning health issue came up with our Dog and Merry was on the phone calling and texting us constant updates and getting our feedback on how we'd like her to handle it until the concern settled.We forgot to buy cat food once before going out of town once and they were kind enough to drive around to multiple stores trying to find our special brand and pick some up for us. My poor cat has Cancer and is on a laundry list of meds, which merry pets was more than willing to handle while we were gone.Merry and her crew provide a special personal touch that I've never experienced with any other service or company. They are dog people and they care for our pets like they are their own.I'd recommend Merry Pets to anyone!

We chose Merry Pets from a recommendation and throughout the entire process we could not have been happier. We did both overnight stays and mid-day check-ins. The service they provide is truly superior to other options in the SLC area. We met our house sitter, Mona, beforehand and gave her the tour of the house, had her meet the pets and ran her through the details. She managed our “picky” raw food diet for our animals and watered our plants, played with them, took pics for us, and even picked up food from the pet store for us because they were closed when we left. Beyond that, she surprised us and replanted one of our avocado plants that we had mentioned we failed at on our first attempt. When we got home everything was clean and the animals seemed so happy and almost like, ‘where is our friend, Mona?’. All in all it was an awesome service, and we recommend it to anyone who has pets that need to be watched. We will 100% choose Merry Pets again in the future.

Was on a hike with my two friends and saw this girl Annabelle walking a bunch of dogs I had my dog and was walking by and my dog stopped and literally would not move from that girls feet I swear this girl has an amazing connection with animals was so sweet to my dog and was having so much fun with the dogs she had. I asked her what her name was and she told me I appreciate how nice she was I will definitely be getting in touch with merry pets to get my dog walked by her it seems like the animals have a lot of fun and seeing that made me want that for my boxer. Merry Pets is the best! Atlas, our Border/Aussie mix, started with hourly walks on his own. We only had him for a couple of months and he was a bit skittish, so we were working with him. I was a bit hesitant when Merry suggested group hikes, only because Atlas is a bit of a spaz in the car and we were still working on his socializing. Well, Atlas has thrived since starting the group hikes! He is so good around other dogs now and when I get home from work on hike days he is pooped, I can tell he had a good day. Best decision we've made concerning the dog. I would gladly recommend Merry Pets to anyone.

Merry has been sitting for my 6 Border Collies for 2 years in a row. My trips have ranged from 12-23 nights. That's a long time to leave my dogs but knowing they are being well taken care of makes it easier.They have hiked my dogs, stayed with them nightly, gathered my mail and cleaned my yard daily. Last year one of my dogs was bit by a rattlesnake on one of their hikes. Merry's hiker took Jet to the Animal Hospital within 30 minutes, followed up with me and kept my updated, took jet for his follow up appointment for bloodwork and made sure to give him the prescribed medication. He is dong well and only has a tiny scar on is muzzle. The effort they take to care for pets is like no other.I'm thrilled to have learned of Merrys services!! A+ and a gold star from me.

Merry runs the best dog-walking business in Salt Lake City. Her walkers take Rozz for off-leash hikes every day, and he absolutely loves it. Merry genuinely cares about Rozz and makes sure that he, and all of the others in the pack, are well cared for. She's outstanding.
