I think this was an Albertson's waaay way back. Then they got bought out by Fresh Market. I've started to notice Fresh Markets going out now. I like Macey's. They took this store and cleaned it up and I like shopping in stores that are organized and clean and yes even some mood lighting. Macey's isn't the cheapest depending on what you're shopping for but their produce is awesome and fresh and the meat is middle of the road cost wise. There is always some special going on just about everything. So. Yeah. I like Macey's and I'm glad they took over this location and cleaned it up.

There are many issues with this store. Dirty, overpriced, poor layout, horrible bakery, stale meat department, rancid "fresh" coffee, ect.. they have their pressure washing service out at 4 am everyweek to wake the entire neighborhood up. I have addressed this with management and corporate. They are all spineless loafs that are incompetent. Take your money to smiths and get 2x the groceries for what you will spend here.Corporate- you have my number and email I will change this review if you decide to call me back or send an email.

Prices are noticeably higher than the competition. It's not a higher-quality issue. This store has always been my go-to, but after 35+ years, I'm shopping elsewhere. We're not part of the Country Club crowd that can pay your high prices.

First time I have seen Starbuck at freshmaket. I think they are trying to trendy up sugarhouse. This store was clean and staff super friendly. Found items I need easily. Bathroom was clean. It was very quiet and not crowd.

The store is fine...the management and corporate do not care about their customers. They have cameras in the parking lot but will not help in finding vandals nor will they take responsibility for car damage in their parking lot. Instead of taking care of this problem they would rather losea long-time customer who has spent tens of thousands of dollars at this store.

Fresh market is a grocery store. I have shopped at this fresh market probably fifty times, since I live in a nearby neighborhood. In this review, I will tell you about my experiences at Fresh Market and how it compares to other grocery stores in the area. Note: this Fresh Market is affiliated with Associated Food Stores, and it is not to be confused with the store chain in Poland, operated by Zabka Polska, nor is it to be mistaken for “The Fresh Market,” a North Carolina-based chain of grocery stores, founded by Raymond and Beverly Berry in 1982. I’m not sure but I think this Fresh Market is the best of the three Fresh Markets.I went to buy baby formula once at this Fresh Market and the clerk told me they keep all of the baby formula behind the customer service desk, which I found strange. They said it was because there had been theft of the baby formula, and I was like, huh? Who would do that? Pretty sure they could find other ways to guard the baby formula, but I was able to purchase it anyway, so it wasn’t that big of an inconvenience.The array of products available at Fresh Market could be improved. They do not have a bulk foods section, which I find irritating, since I often need to buy just a small quantity of this or that. I feel this especially after having shopped at somewhere like Winco, which has the greatest bulk food section of anywhere! I mean, you can even get like small quantities of wild rice there! How cool! Also, the produce area of this Fresh Market is not impressive. A few of the fruits/vegetables look good, but for the most part, the quality is not great. I wonder if this is because of the location of the store—it’s kind of in the middle of a neighborhood, and the store does not seem really busy very much.Like I said, I’ve been there like 50 times, and I’ve never had to wait in line to pay, like there’s always a self checkout or a clerk open. I much prefer Smith’s or Winco, although the downside of those stores is that they rarely have open checkout stands, but this can be viewed as a positive, in that they are much busier because more people like the stores, and shop there more often, which allows the store to stock a wider variety of goods, and keep more employees on, which in the end makes a much better store. This location in south Salt Lake is well stocked and layed out well too. The staff is very friendly.When we went there the lights were out but they let people in the store anyway. We used our phone lights to begin shopping. Nobody panicked and with in 5-6 minutes the lights came back on.If you're in south Salt Lake City this a great place to shop.

The bakery is superb for special orders such as birthday cakes.Reasonable prices. The produce area is large and very open. Large areas of dairy and non-dairy drinks. Kefir selection is one of the best in the valley! Store carries kombucha and dairy Kefir, but no water kefir. Employees are very friendly. The ice cream cones are a good treat while shopping.

The Macy's pharmacy was very accommodating, friendly, competent and quick and I did not have an appointment. Including the time to fill out the questionnaire I was in and out in 10 minutes. Awesome. This is exactly the opposite experience I had at the Walmart Pharmacy up the street. They wouldn't even help me up there.

They have decent lunch specials, very affordable although the food quality is lower tier to match those prices. I love buying avocados and bread here when their on sale. The staff is typically friendly and helpful, although Ive had a few run ins when their not. That's okay we all have rough days though.

I was impressed with the care taken in presentation and freshness of the cut fruit case as I entered the store, also the order and selection offered on the clearance section was amazing I ended up adding about 18 items to my other shopping. Will be returning very soon.

The pharmacy team is top notch, Cal has trained them all so well. They are helpful, knowledgeable, kind and always go above and beyond to get things rights. They treat you like a human being when now a days a lot of pharmacies can be judgmental and careless. Thank you for all that you do for me and my dad!!

Great place to go shopping during the pandemic. They use the Skip app which allows you to scan products and checkout with your phone. They also have a self checkout option.Good selection on regular brands, but their organic products are very limited and over priced. It's not my favorite store, but its one of the better options when you're in the foothill area.

This store was okay but items on shelves are not organized very well. I was looking for packing tape. It was in three different places, not sure why. Also very limited selections in pet isle compared to other grocery stores. (No, I wasn't packing up my pet!) Staff was pleasant.

Came here to cash a check at Well Fargo, the gentleman who helped was great. Then I decided to grab some items for tonight's dinner. I was impressed with the quality of food and the display. After that I grabbed a coffee at the Starbucks.. Pumpkin is in y'all!!All around great store

If I could give 0 stars I would. The produce is always incredibly lousy, and expensive. They also have different prices on some items than the items ring up as (make sure to pay attention). The absolute worst part is the complete lack of basic human decency and kindness given to it's patrons. Look no further than this establishment for why there is waste, and need in a civilized society such as the united states. I wished to purchase a half gallon of milk which expired in less than 12 hours. I asked if they could sell it at a discount because I drink a ton of milk (and who wants expired milk?) As there were dozens of other half gallons with much later expiration dates. Got a blatant no. So they would rather throw it away than make money on it and see it used. How wasteful and cheap. I cannot support such an establishment, and neither should you.

I had the best experience shopping at Maceys on Parleys Way. I needed EggNog and couldn’t see any on the shelf. I asked an older gentleman (Glen) if he could assist me in finding some. He went out of his way to look in the back for me and came out with two cartons. He was so kind to have helped in that way. Thank you!
