Oscar is the most talented, caring, intelligent, and dedicated individual we have met when it comes to dog training! We had received several quotes from other companies, but Oscar was the obvious option!. He spent a lot of time discussing training with us, evaluating our dogs, and educating us every step of the way. We never felt pressured, and he is very flexible. His prices are unbeatable, and he ACTUALLY CARES about You and your dog! Our daycare experience has also been amazing. I wish I could give Oscar and his team more than 5 stars!!

I adopted a little over a year ago. She’s sweet, but needed work with a professional trainer. I took my German Sheppard to Oscar. He trained her for 2 months and that has been life changing. She’s so much more calmer and better around other dogs.

I dropped my german shepherd off there for 2 weeks for boarding and when I picked him up he had lost 10lbs. I was lied to on multiple occasions by Trofina (one of the owners) about his current status. She told me he was eating just fine and was having no issues. In actuality she later informed me he had not eaten the first week so they switched his food. None of this was brought to my attention nor did they discuss which foods he could have. Instead I was feed the same lie that all was well. Furthermore as part of the arrangement they told me I would be sent daily photos of my dog. This only occurred after I called multiple times and then had to repeatedly ask daily for continual updates. It wasn’t until the last two days of his 13 day stay someone to send pictures without the daily request. When I went in to inquire about his 10lbs weight loss during his two week stay, Trofina told me she would not speak to me about the matter and they had “fired” the person responsible for watching my dog… what? Much of these issues could’ve been resolved on the spot with a little bit of transparency and honesty instead they continuously lied resulting in me picking up a malnourished dog. I do not recommend.

Normally I don’t leave reviews, but I really needed to on this one. I have been researching groomers for a week, and this place had perfect reviews so I brought my puppy here. Oscar was very thorough and asked me lots of questions to make sure I got what I wanted, I felt comfortable. Oscar asked if she needed a haircut, I said no. He asked if I needed her ears to be trimmed and I said no. When I came back to get her, not only were her ears trimmed, but she is trimmed all over. We were upset and wanted to talk to the person who did it when I also found a nick on her ear. To my surprise a girl came out, I explained politely what we had asked for and let her know we were upset. Instead of saying sorry, she got really defensive and claimed to have only trimmed her ears and paws. Not only is this not what we asked them to do, it’s a bold faced lie. When I told her about the nick she was shocked and asked to see it, I showed her and she, once again didn’t apologize, just said that it’s because there was a knot there and they had to brush hard so that happened. I told them about the knot before, it’s not even in the same spot and you can see they also just cut the knot out anyway. After telling her this was not okay, she did offer a full refund, I’m grateful to get the money back, however I would have just done it myself. On top of this, the dog came out whining and scared and is still shaken up. She is the happiest dog and she hasn’t had a smile on her face for the last two hours. It’s breaking my heart, not too sure how she was treated while in their complimentary doggy day care? Seems to be run more like a shelter than an inviting space for the animals.

My dog attended daycare here for over a year when I lived in Salt Lake City and she loved every minute of it. This is a really great spot for many reasons. Firstly, the cost is the best in town. I researched a lot of places and nowhere came close to K9. Second is the hours, I worked at the hospital and had to be at work early in the morning. K9 were the only place open at 6am. This also works out so well when you are travelling and flying out early. The staff here are wonderful and very accommodating. They really care about your pets and do their best for them. Sometimes, if I was running late after work and they were close to closing time, they would wait an extra few minutes for me so I could pick up my dog. On one or 2 occasions, I got stuck at the hospital and couldn't get out in time before closing and my dog had to stay in boarding overnight. When I picked her up the next day they said it was no problem and didn't even charge me. You can't beat that kind of customer service! Lastly, I got my dog groomed there regularly and they always did an excellent job. I was always pleasantly surprised. Since I moved, I can no longer use their services and I've gotten my dog groomed at a new groomer. It cost more and has not been as good as the job they did at K9. I really miss them. They were an invaluable service to me in my situation!

K9 behavior is a hidden gem in SLC.A local small, family-owned business that truly cares about your dogs more than just the money. (Which is truly rare in the world of pet care)Oscar and Rafina truly provide amazing experience for our dog Teddy ❤We trust them with everything! (Grooming, training, and even daycare)They have always been there for us and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Without any hesitation I would recommend K9 behavior to anyone.

I am a professional pet groomer and have worked with dogs my whole life. Oscar is by far the most advanced trainer I have found! I refer all my clients to him and take my personal dog there regularly. I have a hard to handle pit bull and sent him with Oscar for a month and a half. Not only is he very affordable he changed our dogs life! He is now well behaved, happy, and easy to handle. I would give k9 behavior a 5star any day!! Thank you Oscar!

This place is a joke! The owner was super rude and unprofessional when confronted with all things that were wrong with my dog when I picked him up. She kept making up excuses as to why my dog came back with an irritated eye, extremely irritated private parts (to the point where he couldn’t walk normal) and dirty ears.She told my daughter and I that she was very frustrated with us because she had been in business for 10 years and none of this had ever happened. So basically she was saying that we were making this up. We demanded a refund and took my dog back so she can see that we were not making things up and didn’t even bother to even look at my dog.I would not recommend this place! 0/10.

This is an excellent facility for dogs. The dogs are allowed to free roam with each other and the trainers are always present and capable of addressing anything. My dog is a Great Dane Bull Mastiff mix and has become incredibly social with any dog since I began taking him here.

Worst experience ever. My boy came home miserable. Rufina gave him SEVERE razor burn, a red irritated eye he couldn’t fully open for 2 days, and failed to mention he had an ear infection. He was there for more than 5 hours because I was never informed when he was ready to be picked up. Lastly, they most likely didn’t give him water because he was extremely, extremely thirsty when he got home (as well as my other dog). It was a joke trying to talk to Rufina. She isn’t taking accountability. I didn’t even get an apology.

K9 Behavior is the BEST! I was about to rehome my boxer who had bad anxiety and became very territorial after my son left for the military. Oscar is a miracle worker! He trained my Emma and me last year and my fur baby hasn't had issues since! I called many trainers and none of them could beat his prices or his services. His staff at the facility loves the dogs and does some behavior training while at daycare, they have grooming so I can have both dogs cleaned up while they are in for the day. I go 30 minutes (each way) out of my way because I know my dogs are getting the best care!

Oscar and Rufina are the best! Oscar trained our dog, Max, 7 years ago. We have been going to them for grooming and daycare since then. They truly love what they do, are fantastic at it…and love all the dogs! Max lives going to see them!.

This place is really dishonest and horrible for our doggies. They closed earlier and put my pet into a fennel for over night. I had to call many times to a lady named Rufina, she answered after 8:30 pm on that Saturday and I had to agree to pay the over night charge so they could drive back to the place and give me my dog back. I didn’t want him to stay the night there reason why I arrived to the place before the closing time, but I found myself in this horrible situation. Besides that, they gave my dog with scratches on his face!They are irresponsable, unprofessional and not to be trusted.

By far the Greatest daycare and staff. The owner and his wife have went above and beyond to personally help me and my baby.At a time in my life that was very difficult, k9 behavior unit has been such a relief, and has made my life easier and more pleasant. Please note that this review is for Dogs R Us, not K9 Behavior. K9 Behavior moved into Dogs R Us's property after the owner died and took credit for all of the good reviews while blaming any bad reviews on Dogs R Us. Rather than take your dogs to K9 Behavior, you should take them a few blocks up to Dogs All Day, which was created in honor of the deceased owner by his good friends.I've been taking my 2 1/2 year old Airedale Terrier here for the past 2 years. Starting Holly here as a puppy helped her develop good social skills with other dogs and people. She is extremely energetic, so supplementing her daily activities with a couple days a week of play with her friends is a great way to keep her happy. Holly has also gotten all of her haircuts here and all of the groomers have done an excellent job. The pricing is great and they take good care of her, so I'll continue to bring her back.

I've taken my dogs here a couple of times over holiday weekends. The pricing is really reasonable for 2 labs with a lot of energy. When I've picked up my dogs they were in good moods and tired from playing with other dogs all weekend. They were also washed and their nails trimmed. I love this place and recommend it!

Great place. I adopted a dog from the Humane Society with some behavioral problems. I tried regular dog daycare and day boarding but he wasn't having it.Thankfully I found this place! They worked with him and now my dog, who was afraid of everything, pulls me towards the door when we walk up. What better review is there than the dog loving it?Very lucky to have found a place as affordable and awesome as this!And if you buy a month in advance it's only $10 a day for daycare! And they do grooming! And you can board your dog there! The hours are amazing! It's great. Highly recommend. One stop shop A+.

I absolutely LOVE K9 Behavior Unit for grooming and daycare. I have tried many different grooming places for my Golden Doodle and they by far do the best. I don't know how they do it but they manage to take out the dog smell completely, every time I take him home everyone in the family starts smelling him because it's just incredible how they do it. They also go over beyond when caring for your fur baby during daycare, and I always know he's in good hands. I've had bad experiences at other daycare's in the past but never once had anything questionable happen here. Definitely recommended!

I took my 2 poodle mix puppies to Dogs R Us for a groom on Saturday; our first visit. Denise (THE groomer) met us just after 10 am and we immediately felt comfortable. She is Awesome! I finished the first-time visit paperwork, kissed my puppies goodbye, and left them in her care. I picked the kids up a few hours later, and they looked fabulous!! And best of all, they were happy. I highly recommend Dogs R Us and, especially, Denise. You will not be disappointed... we,Thank You!

I've been taking my dog here for almost a year, and she loves it! She was so shy at first but the dog-friendly atmosphere of the place, and some helpful training tips have helped her grow grow into a confident and well-behaved dog. I believe I have become a better dog owner now too. The staff has been professional and very accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend this place!

I LOVE THESE GUYS ! It is extremely hard to let my fur baby go , but I have complete confidence in Oscar and Rufina, and they have provided excellent boarding and grooming. I will continue to support them and tout their excellence! They accept even challenging dogs as our male husky mix is intact , most boarding will not accept him. Their loss and my gain, as k9 behavior has my forever business !

I had used them in the past, but it had been awhile. When we dropped our dog off, no pick up time was communicated. We paid a full night of boarding and a full day of doggie day care for picking him up 2 1/2 hours late. We would have been on time if we had known there was a pick up time. I assumed boarding was a full 24 hours. We picked him up at 23 hours.

If you love your dog....take them here!!! My Sheltie absolutely loves going to daycare everyday. As a mom of a fur baby, nothing is better than knowing the staff treats your baby with the best care. I also did training with Oscar. LOVE OSCAR!!! 100 STARS!!! I love how patient and positive he is in not only the dogs but the owners. Definitely your one stop dog shop & 100% love & fun guaranteed.

Oscar and Rufina have worked with my two golden retrievers since they were 9 weeks old and will be 1 in August. I am excited they have opened K9 Behavior Ut. Oscar picks up/drops off the pups as they go to daycare 3 times a week. When at daycare, they learn how to socialize with other dogs. They are trained how to behave on/off leash. Walked with a bike/scooter and taken to the park to interact with strangers. They go to Home Depot to understand loud sounds and keep their mental side stimulated. Oscar has done an amazing job training these two! Not only are the dogs being trained, Oscar has helped us understand how to train so we all can be a team raising them. I have them groomed once a month here. They always smell amazing and they keep them to the traditional look of a golden. I have boarded the pups with them for 7 days and it was reasonable pricing. I felt comfortable leaving them and when I picked them up, they didn't want to come home with me. They had so much fun!

Completely unimpressed walking into the shop. It was dirty and I was having second thoughts about leaving my dog there for his grooming appointment. Im so glad that I was 5 minutes late due the road construction surrounding this hole in the wall, and the groomer didn't wait for me to arrive. If they are that impatient with their appointments I can only imagine how they would have treated my dog. The only reccomendation I have for this place is to avoid it.

Great day care! My giant pup goes while I'm at work and we both love it! They work with you very easily, adhere to your puppy schedules and are very nice and affordable. They even offered to come in earlier once if need be for me. Casper and I love our daycare
