First time visiting this Harmons and I was very impressed. Lots of great options for just about anything you'd want at a grocery store. I want to go back and take more time to look around. I just went in for a few things. The employees were all friendly and the store was very clean. Check it out if you haven't, you might find something extra special. I also got some awesome Halloween decorations today at 75% off. A great deal!

I’m here to review the salad bar and the salad bar alone. Note: if you go for dinner, your options for the soup and salad bar are going to be limited. If you want the best options from the bar, hit it at lunch time.Tonight, I made a Mediterranean style salad. Put hella olives on it which was unfortunate. I’d say the blue cheese dressing is good and the veggies are pretty fresh.When you’re doing self serve, you kind of hope to be getting a bargain, but unfortunately it’s still pretty expensive for a salad.Anyway, for the focaccia too and it was pretty good. Still sitting here and thinking about getting a drink.

A Premium Grocery Store ExperienceLooking for a high-end grocery store? Look no further! While this store may be a bit pricier than others in the area, it's worth it for the exceptional quality. The store is consistently clean and well-maintained, and the employees are friendly and helpful. During my visit, Lisa, my cashier, was particularly knowledgeable, kind and accommodating.

Nice neighborhood market. I do love Harmon’s. Trying to compete with premium brands in the market like Wholefoods. Sometimes even more expensive compare to them. The only missing part is staff with this brand. I don’t see the passion of Trader’s Joe or Wholefoods staff have. Probably about culture, if they turn this out they will be better.

Why is the staff so terrible here?Grumpy and rude for the most part.Not the guy in the parking lot getting the carts most days. He's awesome. The pharmacy staff are usually good, too.I hate running the gauntlet of the cashier 95% of them look like they would rather spit on you than look at you.I usually only go in because I'm in a hurry and it's close. I'm not the only: I have a friend who always drives the 2 miles to Smith's rather than deal with the staff.I should have written this review years ago. That's in me. The continual poor service? That's on management.

Used to be my favorite grocery store, but their bakery has become garbage. Burnt breads, miss shaped bagels, donuts with split curd, the list goes on. Something happened over the last year, making this location one of the worst Harmon's to shop at for these items.

The salad bar is hit and miss. For the price of the salad bar $$$ at least they could not have it half put out by 11am. The ranch was super watery this time. Very disappointing.

Worst customer service both. I've had to use it twice recently. Those people hate their job. I asked for 3 Xmas stamps and I was told there wasn't any, yet I saw them in the drawer she pulled it from. Lazy!!!! I asked if they still sold money orders and I never have to use them, but this one pl last time I asked about it, the looked at me like I was from the 1800's and these are 2 ladies in their 60's!! I said if you don't sell them, who does .. They just looked at the floor and gave me a dirty look. They are useless doorstops taking a paycheck!!!Take some customer service training classes since this is the best job you'll ever find.Harmons used to be the nicest place in town and now it's the most expensive and useless lazy store in town. Seriously the worst!!! Customer Slum Service!!

Harmons is a nice place to shop, they've established a great environment, but I can't believe how awful their bakery has become. Bought a cake from there recently and it was literally barely edible. Very dry, cake crumbled in pieces when trying to cut it, and had little taste. I'm not picky on these things, but even WalMart does better than this. Chucked it in the garbage.

Ate the whole thing at the salad bar. My salad could’ve been better, but who can I blame since I’m the one who made it? They said free smart water but I accidentally paid for it anyways. CDPretty good. It’s a salad bar. I didn’t pay for my smart water cuz the sign said I didn’t have to. TL

Good selection of foods. I got the Chicken Fettuccine and it was delicious after warming it in microwave 2.5 minutes. They have "Simply Peach" drink....which is absolutely delicious.

I have used their eShopping service for the last time. The picker, Erika, substituted items I said I didn't want, and removed items from my list without even letting me know or asking for a substitution. This service has been a godsend in the past, but it has of late become worse than useless. Having to go back to the store to return things and buy others because they couldn't be bothered to text me a few words is beyond infuriating when this is a service I depend on.

Not very good customer service at all!! I was just trying to pay few items at the self checkout. I was just paying with cash. No employee know what they where doing. I was waiting20 mins just to pay some groceries. I would not recommend anyone to use the self checkouts here.

I was trying to order some cheese, meat, fruit, and dessert plates for my dad's funeral. Their website does not work. The issue is on their end. I can order items in store, BUT you have to order each type of plate from various departments, meaning something that should take ten minutes is taking hours. I have to get transferred to the chesees department. They don't pick up. Then I need to call the bakery. Now, I have to talk to produce. DO NOT OFFER CATERING IF IT IS IMPOSDIBLE TO ORDER.

This place is clean, big, not too crowded and they have cat food which is a hot commodity these days. They are a little higher in prices but they have everything.

A nice somewhat upscale grocery store. Everything here costs a little more than other grocery stores in the area. The store is generally very clean. Emoyees are friendly and helpful. The bakery is one of the best in-store bakeries in the area. A larger than average selection of most items. This store does a good job of providing a selection of locally sourced produce.

Fantastic selection of groceries and the salad bar was a dream with great variety and exquisite taste. The tomato soup and the antipasti with artichokes, sun dried tomatoes and olives, for example are both beyond delicious! Not a cheap place, but so good, it's worth the money.

The bakery here is low-key one of the best bakeries in all of Salt Lake City. I love coming here. It smells amazing. They're quality and the freshness of the various breads, cakes, pastries, and everything else they bake here are superb.I wish they'd figure out a good system for their grocery aisle organization and aisle labels.. it's pretty awful and nonsensical.The bakery though, produce and meat departments are all top notch.

The last two times I've shopped at your store have been horrible service! The first time we were in the express lane on a super slow day in the store, the lady called us into her lane even though we were over the 20 item limit. Once she reached the 20th item, she stopped ringing items up and pointed up at the sign and mumbled something about us being over. Very snotty attitude. Today, my cashier, Melinda, was just as snotty. She asked if I had a rewards card, I said no, can I get one? She said no, not today. Even the lady in front of me was treated with a nasty attitude. What kind of service is this? Everyone is spending so much for groceries these days that they need to treat their customers better! If you keep going with treating your customers so bad, we will all stop shopping there and go to Smiths or Walmart.

Harmon's is always a great place to get the groceries you need. Their produce is fresh, the meat counter is always stocked and the bakery is fantastic. The staff is also very friendly and they're always willing to help.

One of, if not the ONE company I felt truly appreciated at while working here. The lead director of the store and my department were so great to me, even when i wasn't the greatest to them. Definitely wish I could have made a career at this establishment. Thankful to have met and worked for such a well rounded and thoughtful company. My best wishes to them.Also to product is top of the line! Wish we had one in Saint Louis!

I don't know why the self check out attendants have always been rude, short, and abrasive, but alas they are. They openly complain about customers, and on one occassion one was not watching where she was walking and rammed right into me. I was wearing sandals and she stepped on my toes and I yelped a bit from the pain. She just glared at me, never apologized and walked over to her friend Anika and gossipped some more. Both these gals need training. They both have long hair and ponytails with glasses, and look very similar.I shop here usually at night, but my work schedule changed and I now deal with day crew. Night and day experience. Pm crew is not as immature, or in this case, rude, or even hazardous. When I got hurt they should have filled out an incident report. They are notably nice to male customers, but have a toxic and rolling commentary about female patrons that is extremely unprofessional. When I worked retail, I had to fire a couple gals like this for treating women badly. Someone please retrain.Also at self check out I had a basket, and asked where to put it after I was done shopping. The gal that was the attendant glared at me, and looked angry, and I could not make out what she said. Just bizarre behavior. If you hate your job so much, that you are going to create a toxic atmosphere, just quit.

Alas I have stopped going to this specific Harmons, after being left disappointed on 2 occasions by the staff - one opportunity was when I asked a cheese monger to cut a piece of cheese at 8:58 am and was told that the counter was opening at 9:00am. The second opportunity was when I called the bakery department ahead of time to ask to set aside some French baguettes and was told that I’d have to come in and check if there would be available. Not the type of customer service I would anticipate from a store in which customers consciously spend more money because they are looking for higher quality products than mainstream grocery store.
