Me and my family have been enjoying Handel's for years, and it never disappointed. I have been to Omqua dairy and Tillamook dairy both, which are very good. But handles really have the best quality ice cream I have ever had.

Today was my first time trying Handel's Ice Cream. I got the mango sorbet and my daughter got Smores Ice cream. They are very very delicious!The atmosphere could be improved. It was dead silent in the store. It was almost uncomfortable! I felt like I had to whisper. I think adding some music could really make it feel more fun, inviting and happy. It would probably be nice for the people working too!

I just went to Handel's in east Millcreek. I've ordered banana splits multiple times from them and this is the first time I was not allowed to choose my ice cream flavors or toppings. I think the girl was new because she kept asking other staff what to do next. After she completed adding the toppings she asked how much banana and this literally what I got, not a split... I got a sundae with a side of banana. The portion sizes and consistency of service seem to be a constant struggle at this location which is sad since it is minutes from home!

Walked in and couldn’t walk to the counter since several teenagers laying on the floor right where the line goes. Served 2 significantly different portions despite ordering the same scoop count. Seems like they need adult supervision in a few different aspects. We enjoy Handels ice cream but don’t expect we’ll return to this one.You can see they front loaded all the “5 star” reviews. This is truly 1-star.

Do yourself a favor, go check this place out. I ordered the cotton candy scoop and it was AMAZING. My husband didn't order anything but then tried to steal it from me. It's really good! Its not heavy like I would expect from a hand made ice cream shop. It is light and refreshing yet has a thick density too. This one has rainbow chocolate chips in it and THIS FLAVOR IS GLUTEN FREE TOO! I love it even more . This place just opened and it's happenin'. Lines of people but the line moves quickly. Benches inside and out for lots of gatherings. Handicap accessible and plenty of parking. So far this looks to be a great evening hang out spot.I went on opening day to enter their free ice cream for a year contest and won!! Now, that's a sweet deal! Heehee....

Came here a couple times long before supposed closing hours only to find the door locked. One time the girl just shrugged and smiled. Came tonight at 9:20 doors locked guy inside ignored me google says 10 pm. No way to run a business especially a chain that is a $250k buy in. Ice cream pretty good. Service pretty lacking that girl should be fired. Don’t close early.

Service: polite. Ice cream: yummy. Suggestion: bring wet wipes. I ordered a *small* cone and received a cone with three *huge* scoops on it (I am not a great fan of ice cream in general, so huge to me may not be objectively huge per standard ice cream portion measurements) and pretty soon I was wearing a lot of melting ice cream. Conclusion: worth a try, just come either prepared or resigned to being sticky.

I would like to say the this Handel's is a great place! But every time I go in there it smells like rotten milk. Yesterday was particularly bad. Good ice cream, but I'm worried about the cleanliness when every single time I go it smells bad.

Some background first, I love to give my children cash to tip because I feel like it gets them excited and they feel like they are a part of the interaction so after I pay with a card they give the people the tip. On this occasion we ordered some things and I paid and put no tip because my kids were going to happily do that. The employee seeing that I put no tip proceeded to announce it to the rest of the staff and people in line "Ugh he didn't tip" to which one of them replied "of course he didn't" so I stopped my kids from leaving a tip and took it as an opportunity to teach them when not to tip. When people are entitled, deliver bad customer service and are rude (openly trying to embarrass you), then in this situation you do not leave a tip. In the end I think it was a great lesson for my kids.

This was the first time I had been to this store and I was amazed at how many flavor options there were! I was bummed that you can’t see the flavors in cases like at other ice cream stores. I am a visual person and ordered one they had a picture of. All 4 people in my group loved everything they got.

This is a fantastic addition to the Olympus Hills Shopping Center. We have never had a proper ice cream shop in this center in the 40 plus years I’ve lived in the area. The young staff is clean, enthusiastic, and proficient doing their job and the shop is well organized. Serving sizes are generous and the ice cream is packed full of delicious ingredients. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Super excited to have an ice cream place walkable from our house. Ice cream was delicious. Only negative and for us unfortunately it is a big negative is that they don't have kids sizes. Our 2 year old and 4 year old we're about to get 3 large scoops of ice cream with the 'smalls' we ordered. So we asked them just to give them each a scoop and we were charged full price. Maybe not a negative for most people but it is a lot of ice cream. If you ever get kids sizes we would love to come back

I love this place! The ice cream is amazing and they gave me a really generous portion! The extra thick Salty caramel truffle milkshake is my jam. If you get the monster size you can share it with two other people, it's huge! Also pro tip tell them not to add syrup into the milkshake, it's already sweet enough.

The ice cream here is really good. Creamy and tasty. We went the day they opened and the staff was enthusiastic, friendly, and eager to help us. My only issue, and it's a small one, is that we got waffle cones and the paper on them was basically glued to the cone. So when I got down to the bottom I couldn't get the paper or glue all the way off and had to throw it away. I was pretty disappointed by this as eating that last little bit of cone with ice cream is one of my favorite parts of a waffle cone.

Visited this new Olympus location, and the customer service was amazing. I have four kids all screaming out flavors and they were so helpful, and nice to my kids. We are a fan of many flavors which you can’t go wrong on any. We will definitely be going back, so happy to have a Handel’s close to us!

Love the ice cream here, and this location has STELLAR management and staff!!Two things to note if you've never been to Handel's. 1) There is no small size. What they call a "small" has like, three scoops. It's very American. 2) You can't get more than one flavor until you go up to a medium, with FOUR scoops. Then you're allowed 2 flavors. A large allows for 3 flavors. I just got a small dark chocolate raspberry and even though the flavor is AMAZING, by the time I was halfway done with the cone I was so sick of it that I had to throw it out my window.

My favorite ice cream store by far! Amazing flavors. You have to try the Graham Central Station! Friendly staff and now conveniently located in Olympus Cove. You can sample the flavors but all of them are AMAZING!!!

Handels’ ice cream flavors are so clever and delicious. The workers at this location are incredibly patient and friendly when we’ve asked for samples trying to decide what to order! So far I keep ordering “Graham Central Station” because it’s literally SO good with the little crunchy chocolatey Graham pieces—I’m literally obsessed!

Great ice cream, poorly staffed. Been here a few times with one kid working the entire store. Today there were 32 people in line with one teenage boy working the entire store. Hats off to the kid who took care of us though as he was efficient and helpful.

Absolutely ridiculous. I called the store a few weeks ago, because my card was charged one too many times at this location. Well tonight employees at the store went through the call log, called my phone number, yelled into the phone and when i asked who this was the person did static with his voice and hung up on me. I googled the number and realized it was Handels. I called back and asked why they were prank calling with the store phone a lady answered at that point and immediately hung up on me. So i called again and the same boy that called me the first time picked up and i asked why they were prank calling me and he said because i called first which wasnt the case. I asked to speak to a manager and he stated no managers were on duty. This is happening at 920-930 sunday night. Absolutely immature that these employees are looking through the phone log and calling and prank calling customers.

Handel’s was fantastic! The ice cream is absolutely delicious and the staff is helpful and friendly. It’s hard to pick a favorite with so many great flavors but we loved the chocolate peanut butter brownie flavor! We recommend Handel’s to everyone!

Fantastic ice cream. I had a medium cherry ice cream cone. Brought back memories of really good ice cream. Do yourself a favor and go get some ice cream. They are a little expensive but we'll worth it.

Terrible, laughable, banana split. It was probably the girl we got as she was super new and couldn’t answer our questions. The banana split was laughable with 3 golf ball size scoops and large scoops of fruit toppings. We asked her if we could pick the toppings and she said we could choose between nuts and whip cream. After she scooped our ice cream she went over and chose the toppings for us and heaped them on. We ended up with pineapple on coffee ice cream (yuck!). We set the dish down next to the register and the owner walked by and never looked twice. (Probably just didn’t think to look). They need to train their new employees better before setting them free on the floor. She was so shy/scared/nervous that we felt bad for saying anything. But then we left practically empty handed and out $10.

Great service and ice cream is always terrific. Love that Handel's keeps it simple; amazing flavors, great service and good value. So happy that there is a Handel's closer to Salt Lake City.
