This is my grocery store of choice. It's close to home, I know where everything is, the employees all know my boys and I and are always super friendly, helpful, and nice. The place is always clean and organized and well kept. I do occasionally shop at Harmons, and I can tell you that Fresh Market may not have some of the unique selections Harmons prices are much much steeper. I watch my grocery receipts closely, and I tend to spend a minimum of 30 percent more when I stop in at Harmons. For fancy occasions, I'll spend that extra, but when it comes to home cooking 6 nights a week for myself and two boys, this is my go-to grocery store.

Do you want Walmart quality at Harmon’s prices, along with gas station selection? Then come to this store. Seriously though, if you’d like better or similar prices with a much nicer selection head to Harmon’s. Not worth the price at the quality. And to top it all off Fresh Market is a part of the Kroger monopoly - so shopping here sends your money to a huge corporation that only cares about the bottom line.

I feel they intentionally mislabeled items to steal your money. This item was stocked and priced at 4.99 on sale. At check out, it was $12.99 when I mentioned to the self check out clerk she was very defensive and acted like it was my problem for not getting on my knees to read the tiny words that said a different product.

I'm in this store about 5 times a week. It's convenient, clean and well stocked. But mostly because the workers are super friendly and helpful.

Love this store. It's a smaller store but not too small. They carry 90% of the things I need - which is very good. Friendly staff.Slight annoyances: the cart returns in the parking lot, and sometimes the produce is not great or there's limited availability of something specific in produce.

Have been in several times now at different times of the day. Every time it has been very clean, well stocked (for a smaller market) and well staffed. Staff were all pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.The bakery is excellent with a good variety of usual and seasonal baked goods. Definitely my neighborhood go-to market while visiting family in Salt Lake City.

Love this little market, I used to come here when I was younger to buy snacks for a long Sunday at church. Friendly staff and a decent selection. This is also a small store so it makes for a quick stop.

There’s an older woman who works here by her accent she’s got to be from Ukraine or Russia or somewhere near by. Um she is amazing she’s really the only employee who is nice all the time when I’m there and I go quite frequently. There’s another older woman who is kinda chubby with short hair wears glasses. She’s always got an attitude. One night I was there she took it upon herself to be rude in front of customers to the lady I like. If you ever need to have a serious conversation with someone you take them to the back and handle it like an adult. If you do this instead of what you did it will show you respect the other employee and that you yourself are a grown women and can make smart decisions.

Asked if a deli item had dairy in it. Was clarifying that I specifically meant milk. Was called an "a**hole" and screamed at by the employee. I'm not too sure why, it was very confusing. But I don't think I'll be going there again.

I decided to pick up a few things here because of its location to another errand I was running that day and boy I always get a little sticker shock at how much more expensive fresh market is to their main competitor. The only had one check out person (at least that I could see) manning both the self-checkout and regular checkout.

I know things have changed a bit since Covid, but seriously? Very little customer service on any level. The lady that helped me was not friendly and made no attempt to interact with me. Asked if I had a phone number with them, which I don’t but wouldn’t mind the savings, and she carried on without any other words. Said a very limited thank you. Maybe exchanged a total of less than 10 words. When I unloaded my hand basket onto the turntable, I looked for where to put it, asked her and was pointed to the stack next to the doors. It’s little things I know, but isn’t that part of customer service? I don’t need people waiting on me or anything, but it would be nice to at least feel welcome in a place that needs customers for business. Went through the register at the end(furthest from the self-service, probably should have just used those) around 11:50 am today.

My daughter's prescriptions were electronically sent to The Fresh Market pharmacy. I gave them about 2 hours to get it filled but when I went in they had not started on it. They did start to fill them when I arrived and they said it would take about 10 or 15 minutes and it took about 20 minutes and they had it filled.

I've been going to this location almost every week for about 5 years now and I have to say that every time the employees are amazing, everything is cleaned to a professional level, and it is overall a great store, until the day comes that I move away from the Holladay area, I will continue to shop here for all of my snacky needs (:

Update: now all the gluten free waffles I buy for breakfast are gone, too. Next stop: Trader Joes! They will be getting my business now.Every time I go to their store, more and more gluten free products are being clearanced. How is someone with a gluten allergy supposed to shop at your store?

When we first moved to the neighborhood and started using this location regularly, it wasn't that great. We consistently would end up with expired products, fresh and otherwise. The store wasn't really well kept. However, in the last year that we've lived here it's really gone uphill. We no longer have to worry about getting something that's expired and our visits have been consistently good. The floor staff and management that we encounter are pleasant and helpful. The building is a little dated but don't judge it by that.

Nice neighborhood store. Prices are just a little higher than you may expect. My biggest complaint is there is no consistency with the bagels. One day there may be several packs of 6 of different kinds and other days there's only singles or none at all. A single cost a dollar, 30 percent too high for me.

They were not very friendly .. I mean they did their job fine but carries out a conversation with each other like it was relief society... Completely ignored my obviously witty response ... But then why should I expect them to acknowledge me.. oh yeah I'm paying for the salt.... don't get me wrong they did their job I got the right change I paid for what I got they weren't rude except in the fact that they barely acknowledged I was there other than pushing whatever buttons they had to to bring up the salt and since I'm a big guy no need to ask if he needs any help with that which I didn't but you know things like this make you want to come back to the same store which I won't do unless I'm really close because it's the principle of the thing

On the surface this is a pretty standard supermarket. It has all the stuff you would expect. It's reasonably clean. The prices are a bit higher than some other places. They wanted $9 for a cabbage, which made me laugh and say "No thank you."Then I went to the restroom. That was a non-standard experience. After searching hesitantly through a small hallway that looked like an employees only area, I found a stairway that led up to a messy employee break room where the restrooms were. They were crumbling, dirty rooms with leaky faucets and automatic flushers that seemed broken.I realize this building has been around for many decades, but considering all the cosmetic upkeep on the outside and the relative cleanliness of the shopping area, the restrooms were unexpected.

This is a decent grocery store but I have noticed you need to be careful with expiration dates. There have been several occasions where I have picked up food off the shelf only to realize it was two days from expiring. I also almost bought moldy hot dog buns! The staff is friendly though and it is an overall good store.

I was in a good mood til I went to this store. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. The cashier was incredibly mean. If you are in a good mood go to Smiths stay far away from the cashier here.
