5off 25 on saturdays never works at this store. Its a scam. Been trying to get this promotion 3 saturdays in a row and even brought a paper receipt for them to scan but it just never works. They should have a self checkout since the cashiers aren’t so helpful and friendly too.

This is one of the worst stores with the worst employees that I have ever been too. The sign says 6pm on the store when it closes. I walked in 30 mins before to be pushed by one of the employees and says they are closed with a full store of people. That store needs to be closed. The store don't benefit anyone in rp other then the employees that steal jus as much as the homeless. Close the store or get people who will work. I never in my life have had a tweeker chick push me out the store saying it's closes when all I needed was Tylenol.

This store is ridiculous. Says it's open online and almost Everytime I come here it's always closed. Always. It says closes at 10pm online but I'm here right now at 8:30 pm and it's closed. I will never come here again. I could have gone to the other one in West valley cause I was close to it but I live by this one so I thought id try it one last time and of course it's closed. Bad business means lost and no business. Don't waste your time with this ridiculous store! I gave 1 star but if I could have I would have gave no stars. This store deserves zero stars! Get with the program dollar general!! As I sit here 3 people came and left. RIDICULOUS!!!

Went to the Dollar General store on Redwood Road in Rose Park today around 2p.m. and found a real professionally hand written sign on their front door indicating that their hours had changed to 9a.m. - 5p.m. When we reached the door we noticed the doors were locked and the store was closed. Shelves on the inside were stocked and full but nobody was there. My daughter and I watched as more than probably 25 cars came and left once they realized the store was closed. What a shame that this site just sits?

I really like this location. Large variety of products and new items all the time. I always feel like I interrupted a store reset though because they always have a ton of boxes in the isles, along the back wall, or (as it seems lately)at the beginning of the islesIt's difficult to push a cart through as the layout is small and cramped already. I haven't had anything but pleasant staff interactions so I keep going back.

Sat. 8/7/21. Terrible experience!! Spent 20 minutes finding just the right Birthday cards...was waiting 10 minutes in a very long line to pay. Cashier yelled at everyone from the front-- " You will all have to leave the store! " Turns out computer systems down...register not working! Left empty- handed

I really only go here for Maui Burst Mtn. Dew. The women there are great. However, if you call with any questions, there is one guy there who just says what he thinks will get you off the phone as quickly as possible. I don't much appreciate that, but D and the other girl are very helpful and friendly as long as you are friendly back. Common sense stuff.

This place had variety of things to choose from. From toys to refrigerated items to laundry soap to can foods.This place is a small store to buy groceries.The staff was very friendly. I bought a toy and an ice cream pop for my son and this kind cashier clerk was just so nice. I really like it when I go to places and they treat someone with kindness.I do recommend going here shopping for low or discounted prices.

The staff is friendly however they are not very organized. The store is really messy and there are sales signs everywhere that need to be taken down. Bought a small rug that was supposed to be 50% off but the sign was old. Also bought a deco box that was sitting in front of a 50% off clearance sign but the cashier said it didn't include the boxes. If I didn't need the items, I would not have purchased them, so unfortunately I had to pay full price. Like I said, not very organized. They should have honored the signage since it was their fault they were placed wrong.

The place was an absolute mess there were huge carts going down the main aisle so you had to keep scooting around them. There was stuff all over the floor and the cashier was horrible. She never said hi or hello and never said Thank you. She walked up to the register and grunted at us and then had balls enough to be complaining about another customer in front of everyone as loud as she could be. I will never shop there again!! As a first time customer I was really shook.😠

I love this place. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for cheap random things. The only complaint is that it's too busy so the staff has a hard time keeping up. I also think that they are short staffed so be prepared to wait a bit in line.

Me and my friends went there a couple times and were harassed every time, but we did purchase some items. Today we went there to get a gift for a friend’s birthday and they told us that only one of us could go in. They accused us of stealing, so we asked to see the camera so they can prove that we stole something but they refused.We showed them the receipts from the other times we went but still refused to let us in the store and refused to look at the cameras. On top of all that, the employees were being stereotypical towards me and my friends who are African and Mexican teens. Overall good store, bad employees, horrible costumer service. One star.

One of the employee here was really judgmental towards me and my friends when we walked in having intentions on buying something, But they accused us of stealing even though we were watched 24/7 in there, and that was only the first time we went there. The second we were told to hurry up and get what we wanted and leave when we barely got there, And the third time we were looking for gift bags for our friends birthday, we were told only one of us could go in because that same employee from last time told everyone that we stole something, but won't check the cameras. Even when we showed the receipts and were watched they still refused to let us in.

Employees are friendly, and helpful. I usually can find all the products I'm looking for so it makes my shopping in one convenient stop there fast. And the prices are much lower than their competitors.

Well customer service is awesome! But I don't see any difference in prices. Dollar general when they first opened that was my favorite store! Well now the prices are up it's like going to Smith's sad because I loved dollar general:(

Good to stop for last min items they got what you need but most of there staff is either to busy to help or plain and simple rude. Please stop with the security recording it don't work get a security guard and more employees please one star for service.

Right on redwood Rd so it was a great convenient location. They were super friendly. The store was organized and tidy. There was someone to ring up my items at the register. And they had everything o was looking for.

I stopped for balloons. Of course prices are on point but the customer service is also worth only a dollar. My cashier was obviously having a bad day, she made no eye contact, no greeting, had a bad attitude to the customers before me too. I won't come here unless I absolutely have to.

I liked the store that was there before a bit better, but it's ok. Not very good if you're in a wheelchair. My friend is lucky to get around. Always boxes in the aisles.

Rude and seemingly very stereotypical to me and my friends through the 3 times we went in there and accused us of stealing when neither of us even look suspicious. As well as accused us of stealing when again we didn't even look suspicious as well as each of us are paying customers and have bought stuff from there in the past and haven't had a problem with any of the staff until now.

It was very crowded with merchandise that still had to be put away. It was not very neat and tidy. It almost seemed dirty.On the good side is the cashier was wonderful. They went out of their way assisting everyone.

Its getting competitive, instead of going to Walmart, I just walk to the general,, I went today looking for a birthday card, ended up spending 75 $. And I'm OK with it,,,, luv. Luv. Luv the people who work there, it brightens my day,,, they are awesome,,, thank you. The store in Salt Lake store off rdwd rd and 8th west. 😀😀😀😀

There are several products I purchase here because they are priced lower than in my supermarket. Paper towels comes to mind. I like to find the new products they always seem to get in.
