Thank you. Nothing like going to a business that seems like home. Super helpful and genuine. I brought in my Specialized FSR full carbon full suspension MTB and they didn't gouge me based on what I ride. They got it done as fast as anyone should expect this time of year. I should have brought it in during the first part of the year. So be respectful and give them the proper time to fix your bike right.

I own multiple Intense bikes and was given some free tune up certificates with them. Being one of the licensed Intense dealers in the area, I brought my bike down and was told it'd be about two weeks until they could work on it.I say no problem, showed them the certificate and went on my way. A whole month passes and I've heard nothing, so I call and am told I need to provide a code from Intense on the free tune up; the email said nothing so I contacted Intense directly and they were dumbfounded to what "code" was being referred to as well and suggested that maybe the shop wanted me to register the bike with warranty? I had already done that so I called the shop back and told them what I did and they now seemed to not need any sort of code or number and told me it'd be a few more weeks until the bike would be ready. So I wait a week and call and let them know it's been too long and I'm told by the owner to take the bike somewhere else if I can't wait and I explained it's been much longer than I was told for a simple tune up and haven't heard much of anything until I call. He yelled about how he wasn't in the mood for it and it'd be done now in a few days, so I agree to go along with it and wait 2 more days and grab the bike from the shop. It may have been because it was a "Intense" tune up that they didn't seem to care to prioritize it, but all I was looking for was honesty and some communication and was disappointed to have the interaction I did after seeing so many good reviews. I go to about 5-6 different bike shops on a regular basis in the area and will NOT be returning here, they have no inventory of anything, it's just a glorified workshop.

The staff at Cottonwood Cyclery are generous with their time and expertise! We brought in a used bike that we had just purchased to have them fix what we thought was an issue with the rim. The staff checked it out, realized it was an easy fix, and returned our bike within 5 minutes. They didn't charge for the service.

Awesome company, very friendly staff. I took my grandson with his bike here to Cottonwood Cyclery on two occasions. They turned out to be minor issues but we were treated kindly and respectfully. They take the time to provide exceptional service even when they are crazy busy. Took my bike in and was expecting to pay a lot more than they charged me. They only fixed what was necessary, were super friendly, and gave me a great deal. I've had several positive experiences with them and this was just one more great experience. I'll definitely keep coming back!

This place is great. I've taken 2 bikes in in the last month for tune ups and one of those times, the guy who tuned up my bike gave me a few tips for little things I can do myself to not have to bring in my bike so often. Who does that?! The only thing I don't like about the shop is how cramped it feels, especially trying to get a bike up to the counter, but it's a small price to pay for the level of service they provide. Also, the *actual* price you pay for service is pretty small compared to what I was expecting when I first brought in a bike.

I have taken my bike to Cottonwood Cyclery many times for tune-ups. They are fast and thorough and take time to explain what they find on my bike by way of concerns or how to better care for it. This past week i took my wheel in as I put a new tire on and couldn't get it over the rim. The owner quickly fixed it and told me how he does it - all without charge.

These guys are the best! I have been in a few times for various things and I always get amazing, quick help. I rarely have to wait for long periods of time for my issues to be fixed. I'm somewhat of a novice at cycling and they've never made me feel inadequate or stupid for not even being able to change a flat tire. They are fantastic!

These guys are always super friendly and helpful! No ego or attitude, like I've experienced at other shops. They have helped me out a few times and are always really nice. Today they helped me remove a stuck pedal, no charge. Awesome bike shop!!!

Great bike shop with a fantastic owner! Like service should be and used to be. I have been in several times and on my latest trip, I came with some serious ghost shifting and had my derailleur hanger adjusted into the appropriate position in 5 minutes and free of charge. I will for sure be back and would highly recommend!

You won’t find a better neighborhood cycle-hockey-skateboard shop anywhere! The owner Allen is a very nice family oriented guy and knows his cycle and hockey stuff well! His prices are very fair and service quality exceptional! Support you local family run business and go in and say to Allen and his crew. They will take great care of you.

Terrible experience getting a full tune up on my bike here. After asking for a basic tune up I was told I needed to get the full tune up, was then told I needed a new brake lever. Just wanted to get it done I accepted for $250. I got my bike back, chain was still dirty, brake did not work, derailing- a problem I never had. Took the bike back in and they replaced the front lever again, same problem when I got it back. Took it in a third time and was told I need a whole new brake and that they would deduct the lever from the price of the brake. Being reluctant on if they would fix the problem and having to continually bring my bike in, I asked if they could just refund the lever, not even the tune up, and the answer was that I need to buy the new brake set in order to receive the refund. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place for bike service or customer care.

I’ve been to a few bike shops in the area and this is the best so far. Friendly and knowledgeable owner, fast and great service. Always finds a way to squeeze me in quickly and does an amazing job! He knows his bikes! I would highly recommend this shop!

Best locally owned bike shop I know of. The owner is very friendly. They do quality work. I haven't taken my bike anywhere else since I moved into town. He also looks out for my kids and treats them well if the go to the shop without me.

The owner, Alan does a great job taking care of his customers even during this busy time. Great convenient location. Not only do they have a great variety of bikes, they have great bike techs to service them. It's also awesome that they have skateboarding gear snd hockey supplies including skate sharpening!

A small business bike shop that really cares for their community! I went in twice, the first time to buy a tool and snag a bike box to ship my new bike back home. They were happy to provide a used bike box for free. The next day I realized my cassette lock ring was loose and they allowed me to use their tool to tighten it. That is a work order they passed up for my convenience. If I lived here this would be my home bike shop :)

Took my bike in for a Full tune up and wanted to ride the next day. They had a lot of bikes in the shop for repairs this week, so they set me up on a Marin DH demo bike free of charge so I could still get out there and rip up the trails. I bought my bike at this shop, I only take my bike to this shop, and I have no complaints about the service, staff or quality of work at this shop. Its a great local place to get any bike work done!

Always fantastic customer service! On a few different occasions they have been super helpful with quick fixes without an appointment and gotten me back out on the trail real fast! I will continue to use them for all my biking needs. I Highly recommend you take your bike here to get it fixed right the first time.

My bike was brought in on June 28th. I was told it would take about 10 days, and didn't get a call saying it was done until August 8th (30 business days later).Before then, I had to call them 3 separate times to see what was going on after their given deadline passed without me hearing from them. Each time they politely said they were pretty busy and it would be done in a couple of days.When I picked up my bike and I mentioned I felt it unfair that they kept me waiting in the dark, they discounted me $30 from a full service tune up ($95) to a basic tune up ($65). However, the cost still ended up being about $112 because apparently they replaced $40 worth of material on my bike without my knowledge (though they said they tell customers when they drop off their bike) nor was it clearly advertised on their website that this was their policy. So in the end, it didn't feel like a discount to me.It seems that the bike is as good as new. But my expectations of cost and completion date were misguided. For me it was a frustrating process. Moving forward, I will prefer to go somewhere a bit more professional in their communication with customers and honest about their capabilities to complete projects on time.

Absolutely wonderful bike shop! Everyone here goes above and beyond. Collin is the best, he fixed my little brother’s bike. The bike is now better than new thanks to him. They also have Sunday hours which is a real plus.
