It’s a nice place. Almost too much stuff! It was really cool to wind around and look at things. But the prices of everything seemed pretty steep. Which made it lose a lot of the charm for me. Sorry.

Amazing beautiful incredible little store you will be guaranteed to find some special gift for your special person and also random new things that you didn't know you always wanted! They also have incredibly kind and helpful staff who go above and beyond to assist you and also gift wrapped your items in such a beautiful way. Amazing store!

Such cute eclectic stuff here. I've bought MANY things and loved everything but this small mesh"peanut" feeder that had holes too small for peanuts but too large for black oil so they spilled out. Hummingbird feeders, suncatcher, metal art, platform feeder...all have been great. Great little store!

Once again spent one hour in the shop and finished all of my Christmas shopping with the most delightful unique gifts. This is my go-to spot for gift shopping (any occasion) and also my favorite spot to treat myself. Not to mention always stocking up on my bird seed!

Im a trans queer women of color and part of lgbtq+ and I felt they completely ignored me when I needed help and only helped others. Wouldn’t recommend as I felt racial discrimination from the boys that worked there that day.

One of our favorite shops to visit. This place has it all from bird feed/houses to wind chimes and trinkets. A nice place to find a gift for any occasion. Go and just look around. Also amazing garden structures outside as well.

This is the first time I've experienced Backyard Birds.I was looking for a particular seed that a friend had introduced me to that the birds in my area were loving!The seed is White Proso Millet.I had visited several stores during the day looking for this seed with no luck.When I entered the Backyard Birds store I was immediately greeted by a cheerful, friendly and very helpful employee.Then two more employee's, also cheerful, friendly and very helpful!What a lovely place!Of course they had the Millet seed I had been searching for.I purchased a 25 lb bag and the first lovely gal that had greeted me carried the bag out to my truck.What a great place!Kind of crazy, I can't wait to run out of seed so that I can go back for more!Thank you very much Backyard Birds! 😁👍

I came in looking for a fountain on Mother’s Day weekend and it was expectedly busy, but WOW this store is full to the brim with neat little trinkets! Everything from jolly’s pharmacy type knick knacks and toys to bird baths to bird houses to air plants and basically everything in between. If you’re looking for a little gift for someone this is a great place to go because there really is something for everyone! They also have instructions on the bird houses explaining which birds they’re made for and where the best place to hang them is. The fountains were a little out of my budget, but they were so beautiful.

Anything birds! Plan to spend a couple hours and even then you won't see it all, and this is not a large store.Excellent selection of everything, bird feeders, birdseed, yard art, hummingbird everything, greeting cards, chimes and on and on! Such a fun store but with limited parking.Very customer service minded and friendly staff😊.

We went in for bird feed and were pleasantly surprised at how much stuff they had in such a tiny store! Staff was very helpful in assisting us in picking out bird seed and in finding the right way to attract our local squirrels. Our birds are very hungry, so we were happy to find that they sell very large bags of seed at a good price. We took their advice to feed our squirrels whole peanuts, and now we have several squirrels who visit our yard daily.

This shop is a complete gem and such a staple to SLC. If you truly care about your backyard birds, you really owe it to them to shop at this store!You can do internet research to see what birds prefer, etc. But it's nothing like coming in and just directly asking experts. There are region-specific things that Google just won't give you. They are so passionate and cheerful, I never leave with unanswered questions! They know all the birds migration patterns, what food or feeders to use for various challenges, etc. Plus a lot of the food you order online is total garbage and not nutritious for the birds cause it's just filler and highly processed. They have high quality feed and the price is great.It's also a quirky store with all sorts of knick knacks, cards, bird houses, trinkets, and things that I love. It's so charming. You can tell they really care about their customers and providing the best inventory.Please come here and support our local shop!!! Our birds need all the support they can get, and they'll be much happier if you come here :D

I had such a delightful experience at this store. Firstly, they have so many unique things! Bird books, various types of feeders, bird feed, decorations, bird baths and more.I came in not knowing much about birds, but wanting to start my own feeder station in my backyard. The employees were both so extremely helpful. They got me set up with a good variety that worked for me after explaining the various types of feeders. I will definitely be back to buy feed and maybe more in the future!
