They have roaches I woke up to one crawling on my face and then I started looking around and they were everywhere. I picked one out of my bag as I was searching it because I wasn’t going to sleep there and all the guy could say was no refunds. I got pulled over for not stopping at the turn out and the cop who pulled me over straight up told me I made a mistake and understood why I was in such a hurry. The place I ended up at also told me they hear horror stories come from there all the time like that and it’s been getting worse recently. Pictures below are what I showed the guy right is what was crawling on me and the left is what was in my bags. Roaches aside just walking in the room I felt dirty like I had to wash what ever clothes touched the beds. There’s reviews about beg bugs from 4 years ago I wish I saw before hand. I can provide a room number it was 28 and I checked in and out 3/23/24. It’s seriously cheap to do preventative care for bugs in terms of hotel spending. DO NOT STAY HERE.The owners right the bugs in these pictures aren’t roaches. In fact there aren’t any bugs in the pictures, what are bugs? And me saying “I don’t want a new room anymore I want a refund I’m not staying here” was me asking for a free night as I was already packed up because of the service and you know the roaches. This was all just a story that I really have nothing to gain from sharing other than hoping others don’t make my same mistake. I hope my sarcasm is received. To clarify the owner full of it this really happened and I’m glad they decided to reply. If you don’t believe me call hotels around the area.

Wish we would’ve stayed somewhere else lmao… it’s ok ,cleanish. Good enough for one night if you have to. I definitely was overcharged/overpaid. Missing lightbulbs, broken desk chair. Front desk seemed nice enough, tho definitely not worth $106 a night and was about 45 more bc I didn’t book online beforehand. 🤣😅All fare warnings to future travelers. Safe travels

I was traveling through town and reserved the room online a week beforehand. It is an old motel. Holes in the curtains from the heat. I am a positive person by nature. So it pains me to write this review.We stayed at this establishment while our home was having work done. We planned on staying 6 nights, but barely stayed 1!We rented it through a hotel site and it was late when we arrived. Around midnight. We were all tired and just dropped our bags and went to bed. Upon waking in the morning, I went in to shower. There were bugs all over the bathroom. Several different kinds. Upon looking over the rest of the room, we discovered bugs in other areas. We immediately took our belongings to the car and went to the front desk to complain. For all the good it did. After telling the person at the desk what we found and asking for a refund, he simply stated in a derisive tone: "Those are just bath tub bugs. All hotels have them. You will not be getting a refund for the room." He then turned and walked away. Being a professional in the hospitality industry, this response rendered me speechless. We will be filling a formal complaint with the company who owns the hotel.There are plenty of high quality places to stay with minutes of this one "and are surprisingly devoid of any bugs"Choose wisely travelers.

I became ready to retire for the evening on my trip from Colorado to California and pulled in at Salina Utah. I went up the street a little to check the size of the town. Not big. Decided to see what the Econo Lodge offered. The young man at the desk was and welcoming. I checked the room and was pleasantly surprised. Wood type flooring, which I love for cleanliness. Room is nice sized and clean. Room was nice and dark. I slept great which I don't usually in most places not my home. I had a good feeling because it was clean and I felt safe and comfortable. They offer a continental breakfast, they have a pancake maker!!! I will most likely be staying here on my return trip unless I take a different way home. This place will definitely place me on the road again in a good moodGreat place and great rate 👍👍👍👍👍

Decent little place, with a small breakfast array and the pleasant smell of curry in the front office. Folks were nice. Rooms were a little run down, with testy plumbing. The pool was nice. Wish it had a hot tub, but it’s Salina, UT 🤷🏼‍♂️

We stayed one night while we were passing through. The guy at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was dated but clean. The bed was very comfortable. Laundry room was clean and washer dryer worked well for a reasonable price. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. It was everything I would expect and would recommend to any one with out hesitation.

Not the cleanest, though not dirty. It could probably use an extensive update, as everything was a bit worn out. The tv got a lot of channels, including HBO family, which was clutch for entertaining my kids after we driven all day and I didn't have energy for anything else. The customer service was satisfactory. All in all, it was a typical road trip motel experience where nothing was wrong but also nothing was great. The breakfast bag was just enough food for us, though I prefer a hot breakfast at motels to make up for the less than stellar food on the road.

Staff is pretty rude and the rooms are pretty meh. The room was clean but the floors were trashed, there was mold in the bathroom, shower did not drain properly, and an average height male will hit his head on the curtain rod.There is no breakfast, coffee or any other service they claim to have on some hotel sites.

The owner was very polite and friendly. I needed assistance during night hours and the owner, who I woke up, helped me without any rudeness!Breakfast was the normal make your own waffles & pancakes, and other light meal choices.Price for the room was super cheap! Paid a little over $53. Our room was clean and did not smell like smoke. (We've had experiences where the non smoking room we ask for smelled like smoke. But NOT at this location!)Would've given this place a higher rating seeing how helpful the staff was but I reccomend that they invest in new, more comfortable mattresses.

This hotel was very nice! The owner/manager/front desk guys was super friendly! The rooms were very clean. There is not breakfast, but grab and go is available. It is in a very convenient location as it is right off the freeway. It is also next to some options for food. I would definitely stay here again!

If I could just explain what I saw at this motel you would be to stunned to speak. But I can't because now I have ptsd and I have seizures every time I think about it. There was mold on the wall......... MOLD. There were stains on the walls and weird bugs in the bathroom. It looked like a triple homicide had been committed inside of my room.

Room was clean but full of flies that were so bad I had to go into town to the dollar store for a fly swatter. The wood floor has corners sticking up and needs to be replaced. The wifi DL speed was around 35mbps and wasn't very stable. My phone's internet was much faster. There are 2 heat lamp type bulbs in the bathroom which make you really hot with the light on. The TV signal went out on Saturday afternoon, I called the front desk and was told the manager was out but that the message would be relayed. When I checked out Sunday it still hadn't been fixed. The room was a bit overpriced for what it was. The is a motel not a hotel and the room does have a mini fridge and a microwave but not sure if the microwave works. There is an wall air conditioner unit that works pretty good luckily. The motel is just outside of town so you don't have the downtown traffic if there is an event happening like the hot air balloon festival but you do need to drive to get anywhere. Not sure that I'd recommend as I've never stayed anywhere else in town to see what another motel is like in Salina is like.

We rented 2 rooms. One was ok. The other needed since work. Not sure how but the bath tub had a pocket filled with water and air between the layers of the tub. So it felt like you were standing on a half filed water balloon. Good thing my 72year old mother didn't fall in the shower it was unsteady to shower. There was also water damage in the room so the wood floor was loose in places. At least there was no odor.

Stayed here one night and most of next day while semi truck was in the shop. My room was on the upper floor which is what I requested for quite, the room was very clean and did exactly what I needed a place to stay while truck was being fixed. Very pleased with stay will recommend. I did not do the breakfast as I had my own food from truck so cannot comment on that and the property is well lighted.

While on a trip cross country we tried to stop in Green river, UT and there were no rooms available. The closest room was 107 miles away in Salina. I called Chase at the front desk and he was very polite and booked our room. When we arrived Chase was at the front desk and very friendly. The room was a good value. Clean and had no issues which I was happy about since I booked the room while on the road and had no idea what I was going to get.The next day after we were on the road for a few hours my son realized he lost his earbud for his air pods. I called and spoke to Chase again and he SEARCHED the room to find his air pod which was hard to find and send it back to our home address. This type of service really is what makes a place stand out to me because this type of compassion is hard to find. Thank you so much Chase for the great experience!

Very clean. Phenomenal price. Very friendly and polite check in....even at midnight! Great location. Easy stop along I70. Pet friendly $15. Hard floors throughout room, fridge was very cold, microwave was clean (although we didn't use it). Firm beds, clean linens, good shower pressure, iron and board in room. This was a great room. We will return.

Last night's stay was a very mixed success. The staff, although rather slow at times in responding to waiting customers, were very friendly and polite. Mediocre breakfast. Room was pretty clean and bed was comfortable. However, the rate I had been quoted when making the reservation was not the same as charged when I arrived, and there was no negotiating, even though apparently they had recorded the wrong info about the pets about which I had told them. Additionally, the room card was a real pain, necessitating my calling them initially to even find how to get in. Then I had to make 3 more trips downstairs to the office to get it corrected when it would not unlock the door ... ultimately making me 30 minutes late in departure. I don't normally travel with pets, so I look forward to the freedom to pick another motel if I travel thru Salina again.

This hotel’s location was very convenient, and there was plenty of parking available. The staff at the front desk was very kind and accommodating, and quickly helped us into a different room when we discovered our first one had ants attracted to food leftover from the previous guest. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean, and had a cold AC unit. The place was a little worn around the edges overall, but nothing that a little paint couldn’t fix. There were two separate small wasp nests; one outside on a railing and another nearer to the stairwell, and honestly this was the only thing that *did* bug me (heh), but the staff seemed to have it covered and was talking to a pest control service about it.

Room was clean and spacious but the air conditioning did not do a very good job. It did not have a fan that would run unless the air conditioning was running so the room would get too warm between cycles. Also we were told that breakfast was at 6:30 but it still wasn't open by 6:45 so we moved on.

We have stayed here twice and both times were terrible. It had been 4 years between our stays and it was just as bad this last time. They said they renovated the hotel. They painted. They said they wouldn't have hand towels, the pool was down, again, they wouldn't empty the overflowing trashes even though they were fully aware of them, the beds are just springs and they kept turning off our room keys knowing full and well we were staying 2 days. Just so I'm clear when I say 'they' I mean the hotel manager.
