Thank you so much for giving all types of dogs the opportunity to get adopted. I got my Misty today and she’s everything I could’ve hoped for. Everyone here must do extremely well with the animals because her behavior is already very impressive and I wasn’t expecting that from a stray. Thanks again you’re all amazing!

The people there are very nice and helpful. I lost my puppies and they took my phone number and pictures to contact me if they had them come in.

They accepted our strays that we found abandoned and also informed us about the well being of our previous strays. They also were helpful with rehoming my dogs puppies and instructing us on where we could get her spayed

We adopted Kiara there a pit mix. She was injured when we got her. Then we pre-paid for the spay. Then when it came time for Kiara’s actual operation I end up paying an ADDITIONAL $200 bucks! Had the animal shelter been upfront about the costs I could have better planned now I’m broke as freak because I thought I had already paid in full.Take better care of your animals. You shouldn’t be leaving them injured in cages and be upfront about the whole cost!10/10 would not recommend.

I adopted my daughter's dog here and she was never spayed, she had a broken leg when we adopted her and they told us they would have to spray her at a later date.We made multiple attempts for them to honor their spay we payed for in the adoption fees and Everytime got a new excuse.I would not recommend anyone here.

Making an appointment is recommended before showing up. My husband and I didn't, we called while we were in the parking lot and they were kind enough to let us in right away. But that may not be the case all the time.

The service was amazing super sweet people that work there but my new dog came home with a very severe UTI from holding her pee so long while she was in there we had the adoption fee plus vet bill right out the door

The place doesnt seem to be well ran. We went inside and found a dog. Asked but the lady in the front & she knew nothing about the dog. She told us to come back around 4:00ish we waited over an hour to find out about adoption. We were told the lady who did the adoptions would be in around that time. She arrived then left! Without even speaking to us. We finally got to meet the dog from the rude volunteers then Then we were told by an older lady that adoptions wont be happening today and to leave so they can close and come back on monday. Needless to say we wont waste our time again. Clearly this shelter is lacking communication between their employees. I hope that dog finds a good home.

I took two strays that had been wandering around for about a week into Roosevelt Animal Shelter today. I was extremely sad, and worried for them...but knew it was the right thing to do in case the owners were looking for them, and so they could get proper medical attention if needed. The woman who worked there named Janet was absolutely wonderful. I am so grateful there is someone working at the shelter that cares about animals as much as she does. She eased my mind, and her good heart really showed with her words. Thank you so much for what you guys do! Thank you for being a voice for the voiceless 🖤.

Helpful when you have feral cats or dogs. They assist with capture. They will spay or neuter animals if you want the feral animals back. Very humane.
