The collars and Kittie carrier are the best I've ever bought. Collars at other stores have either broken off or have come undone. These collars have lastest and not faded! The staff is so helpful and kind. The products are just the best quality. I can't afford to keep buying cheap. I need my money to last and the products I buy at Riverton Pet Essentials are top notch!

I can't enough about how impressed I am with this sweet little pet shop/grooming salon. My yorkie has terrible separation anxiety, so I have always felt so guilty and nervous whenever I would leave him with the groomers. Until I took him to these amazing animal lovers! They are so gentle, loving, patient, and kind. They make me feel at ease knowing that they genuinely care about my baby and really do everything to make him feel safe and comfortable. They don't have that "just get the job done" mentality. It shows that they really love what they do and they are so amazing with all the dogs. The first time we went in they even stayed after hours for us. He also looks stunning and smells fabulous everytime, they really do such an amazing job! I'll never go anywhere else!! HIGHLY recommend ❤ ❤ ❤

Recently took my dog to get groomed here. Such a great experience! They let dogs play, they don't keep them locked up until it's their turn. The girls there were so sweet and they did a great job on my dogs hair! I'll definitely be back! My dogs love Lauryl! They always leave looking perfect!

Took my labradoodle and doxiepoo both woth long matted scruffy puppy hair and they fid not disappoint one bit. My pups came back looking, smelling and feeling so fresh and clean. Their minster claws and and dirty teeth were well taken care of as well.

They were very considerate and thoughtful when I brought my 4 month old puppy for his first grooming appointment. Rachelle made sure to be extra careful with my dog to make sure he felt comfortable. They acommodated my request to bathe my dog with the products I brought in, instead of their normal shampoo. I have allergies and needed my dog to be bathed in the scent free products I brought in.. I will be back and already scheduled my next appointment. I recommend this place.UPDATE: I went back for a second grooming appointment and Rachelle was great at helping my maltese puppy feel comfortable once again. She goes above and beyond! I'm uploading a picture of the before and after.

LOVED my experience here! I brought my dog, Marty, here for a grooming. It was our first time and will definitely not be our last. They stayed after-hours to get the job done (we have a stubborn big baby) and they were so understanding/patient about it. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

We have 2 pomeranians that are 3 years old and we've never had them groomed because we were nervous about someone ruining their coat. We found Tayler, our groomer, on Instagram. AND OH MY GOODNESS she did an AMAZING job! Our puppies are cuter than ever. We honestly couldn't be more happy with the results. We will recommend Tayler to anyone. We will certainly be returning.EDIT: We took our boys back for another cut and once again they turned out absolutely stunning. Tayler is incredible.

They always take such great care of our Great Dane! The team is hardworking and seem in good spirits considering they deal with other people’s dogs all day! 😵‍💫I don’t know how they do it but I am so grateful for them! Our groomer was kind, got our Midas fresh and so clean clean, and has done an amazing job! There’s a reason we only trust Riverton Pet Essentials with our pup and it’s because of Quality, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. No bones about their pricing either. They provide excellent value for their services!

I have had my disabled ShihTzu baby for over 13 years, and have moved homes so much that we've gone through dozens of groomers over the years. There were some she was ok with, some she absolutely didn't like (which didn't last longer than one visit because of this), but she never really liked the whole experience and it would give her a little anxiety no matter where we went. Then there's Pet Potential. My sweet doggy is absolutely IN LOVE with this groomer, to the point where she just can't contain herself when we get close and by the time we get inside the building, she's leading me to the grooming area with absolute joy and enthusiasm! I never in a million years thought this would ever be the reaction I got from her regarding grooming. It literally brought tears to my eyes that first visit, when I saw her prancing around, feeling so good and not wanting to leave the groomer (and a little jealous😜😜) She always looks so cute, and they are super gentle with her and her physical disabilities. I can't ever praise this place enough. Front staff has always been so so helpful, very knowledgeable and refreshingly kind when I switched (from Petco) to them to buy all my pets food. They even make sure to order for me the quantities that I need because I like to buy in bulk. This is a gem of a local business and I hope we can keep them around for many more years to come💖💖.

My car needed a haircut, he gets too lazy to groom himself and gets mats, his hair gets so messy and I was looking a place that does grooming, I love the haircut now I cal him my little white lion. Thank you he looks beautiful and adorable

They do such a great job! I’ve taken my cavalier spaniel for grooming several times now and they have been very attentive and detailed every time. I always get helpful feedback from his groomer and am impressed with how quickly the job is done. Everyone is very friendly and listens to my concerns and takes the time to answer my questions. We’ve taken our dog to Riverton Pet Essentials to be groomed a handful of times now and each time has been excellent. Our dog had a bad experience with a previous groomer and was really difficult to work with but they were so good to him here and knew just how to help calm his nerves. He’s always so happy when we pick him up and looks amazing!

This place is the best! I live in West Jordan and I come out to Riverton because they are so great! They are able to handle my little chiwiennie's nails so gently. They are fast and friendly and are always willing to take my walk-in request. They also have good treats and toys. I especially love their treat bar! Great place!

I wish I new the name of the groomer that just groomed out shiatsu! This is the best cut she’s ever had. They did exactly what I asked for. All the staff is helpful and friendly! Very happy with everything. We have 2 German Shepherds that we’re going through one of their big sheddings. I was getting tired of fur everywhere and needed some help getting some of their deep fur out. They had an appointment time available right away. The price was very reasonable. They were professional, efficient, and were done early. I’d be happy to go back again.

It was easy to get an appointment, my dog was groomed really well, he was returned to me without any injuries. I can’t say that about the other groomers I’ve used. I made a follow up appointment to have him groomed here again. I hope there grooming quality stays consistent.

Loved taking our goldens to Riverton Pet Essentials. We did the basic bath and trimming and they turned out great! We’ve had negative experiences at other places, so we are happy to have finally found someone to trust our fur babies with!* Only downside was that they didn’t clean out their ears- wish that would have gotten done!

In my experience over the past 1.5 yrs, they have been amazing! They work with impatient dogs, help calm them down, they even helped me get my dog back after he ran away when someone opened the door. Socrates loves all the groomers but really loves Rachel and now Chantel while Rachel is out. It doesn’t seem like an easy job yet they make it look so effortless. This is my all-time favorite pet store! The grooming is wonderful, they treat my dog like family and I never have to worry about her when I drop her off. The value is great for the grooming, and the store has all kinds of fun, unique things I haven't seen other places. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable, and I really can't say enough good things about this store!

Friendly staff! We were welcomed in by I think the groomers poodle who was very friendly, albeit loud (: We were there for a nail trimming/grinding. The groomer got us in and had us fill out a form for their new system. By the time I was done with the form (which was succinct and on a tablet) my baby was trimmed and ready to GO. 10/10, will return. Thank you for the hospitable service!

Do NOT get your dog a hair-cut here.I took my puppy to get its first hair cut here and they told me it would be $40 over the phone. I dropped him off and when I picked him up they said the total was $130! And my dog looked terrible?!When I asked to speak with someone about the issue, they told me that the manager only communicates through email if it “has to do with money”. I encourage anyone who cares about their pets, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE.

Love this place! They take really good care of my pets, I have two huskies, but one of them can be messy. They know now how to handle each one of them. They wait for me even though it's past their time to leave and help me get to my car (especially because I have my baby in my arms).I don't give them 5 stars because I've been waiting for a while for them to update their website and be able to schedule baths through it. It still says they are working on it... Other than that, I've had really good experience with their products, services and people.
