I was very pleased with this veterinary's office until today when I got a very rude voicemail saying that my $6.00 balance is going to start getting interest and I better call or its going to add up real quick. They just barely told me about the balance yesterday for a shipping fee and I didn't have my wallet when they called me so I was going to call back to pay. Not even 24 hours later I got the rudest voicemail. To top it off, I have paid almost $2,000.00 dollars in the past couple of months here. It seems they only care about money and not their customers at all. I expressed how I thought it was rude on the phone and the receptionist hung up on me. Not a good look.

First of all I can’t even begin to explain how much I love this vet. They’re all so kind. I moved to Utah on the whim with my dog who has previously been advised to take medication that calms her before going to the vet. However, since moving to this vet, she enjoys going in and happily trots right in with no issues. Alongside her we have recently adopted a foster puppy. We didn’t have much to work with as far as paperwork goes, but they saw him right away and got him all squared away for me. The staff always answers any questions I have and does a great job explaining what I don’t understand without hesitation. By far the best vet experience I’ve ever had. They always squeeze me in where I can since I work full time and go to school full time. I really appreciate the work they do to make my pets, and myself, feel comfortable going to them. Thank y’all so much!-Kate, Oliver, and Massy

My senior cat has a standing appointment for fluids on Friday at noon. I took her to the clinic on Friday Nov 24 and they were closed. Nobody told me about it. When I called today (Nov 27) the receptionist cheerfully informed me they were closed "for the Holiday". She did not apologize that nobody had told me about it and did not even ask how my cat was doing after missing her fluids.

After calling my previous veterinary regarding an emergency and them denying services for my dog because they were completely booked, I called Mountain View Veterinary and thankfully they were able to make room to see my dog same day. Ever since I have been taking my dog here and we have had great experiences! They are very respectful and take the health of my dog really seriously, which is exactly what i had been looking for. I recommend you try this veterinary clinic.

****Editing this post to add and adjust the rating since we did receive a partial refund check for our very enormous bill for ending up putting our cat down. We want to recognize and send our appreciation for this gesture during a very emotional time - particularly for my husband who has this cat for all of his adult life so far 💛Original post:Save yourself and your wallet and go to Cache Meadow! We’ve lost 2 pets fairly quickly/unexpectedly in last few years and we not only received better bedside manner during those emotional times at Cache Meadow, but we didn’t have to stress our poor pet out multiple times before we had to put them down and we also didn’t leave with an almost $1000 bill.Felt very taken advantage of during an emotional time. From a place that couldn’t remember the cats name or gender. It’s clearly all about the money at this establishment.Moral of the story: even if they can’t get you in as quickly, it’s worth it to go elsewhere. Cache Meadow just happens to be where we’ve used in the past but couldn’t get us in as quickly and wish we had just waited a little bit to take her there instead.

We took our new cat, Buttercup, for a wellness check after we rescued her from the Humane Society. She is 8 years old and had been at the shelter for 9 months. We were still quite new to each other, and I was hoping the vet visit would go well and not frighten her so that when we needed to bring her in the future she would not be scared. We showed up at our appointment a bit early and I was given a mountain of forms to fill out even though I had filled in those exact forms online. We had to stay in a very small waiting room with a frantic, barking dog that was on a leash, not in a carrier. They did have a towel sprayed with comforting pheromones to drape over Buttercup's carrier and I am grateful for that.We waited over an hour before we were shown into an exam room and a tech tried to get Buttercup's vitals. The tech seemed nervous and was unable to take Buttercup's temperature. She did offer Buttercup some cheese, but Buttercup wasn't interested. The tech left us in the exam room and we waited again for a very long time. There was another barking dog immediately outside the door. When the vet finally arrived she seemed able. It only took her a few minutes to examine Buttercup and pronounce her healthy but overweight. We discussed the appropriate amount of food for the kitty cat and talked about a few other concerns we had. Altogether, the vet was with us less than 10 minutes. She didn't try to connect with Buttercup and the cat was upset enough about the way she was being handled to nip the vet. We had warned everyone there that Buttercup bites when she doesn't like the way she is being touched. After the vet left we waited some more for a young lady to come and teach us how to trim Buttercup's claws. We had said we would like this instruction when we made the appointment and I don't know why they didn't teach us while we were waiting for the vet.Overall, I felt that the people there did not respect our time, nor did they treat Buttercup gently enough. It bothered me a great deal that they would have us in the same space as barking dogs for such an extended period of time.

First off they make your dog feel special and treat them like they are special. Professional vet care with the experience and expertise backing them. I would never look anywhere else.

I brought my dog there today for the first time and omg what a great experience! As a stay at home mother of two young, crazy children I love the curbside service. Honestly not sure I would’ve made it out with all my hair still intact if it weren’t for that lol. The vet was amazing and listened to all my concerns and even addressed stuff I didn’t know to ask about. The staff was all very helpful and kind and I’m definitely bringing my pets here from now on! Thank you so much

Had a good experience at the Providence location. We had a mix up on times and location earlier in the day but was able to reschedule for later in the day. Our cats visit went well. I felt the staff cared about our pet, was friendly and took the time to answer any questions we had. We have also used this location for boarding our cat and it was a good experience then as well. We will schedule our future visits with this location.

Boarded my dogs with them over Christmas. Very reliable, easy to work with. The staff treated us with kindness and professionalism. They gave personalized compliments about our dogs’ behavior and stay. I would definitely recommend others seriously consider leaving their fur-babies with MVVHC when they are away.

Took my cat here to care for his needs. Staff was very informative and extremely friendly. The doctor was very intelligent and comfortable to speak to about the issues my cat was having. my cat got stung by a bee earlier in the day they made room for me to come in same day to make sure he was okay. Also gave me great instruction over the phone on how to care for my cat at home while I waited for my appointment. Had to bring my children with me. And the staff were very comfortable and friendly in helping me care for all of them at the same time. The rooms for the animals are comfortable and clean. The business is very well kept with intelligent assistance to help identify problems for your animal. I would highly recommend and I am going to keep this veterinarian for very long time.

These guys are amazing!!! Even without going in due to COVID curb-side procedures, I felt much more welcome at this clinic than at any other I had been to previously. I was impressed with their professionalism, which was especially noticable in their website, paperwork procedures, and thorough intake questions.Doctor H is amazing. She made me feel heard, and made sure I had a solid understanding of the situation so that I could make a confident decision for my pet. We will definitely be long-term clients!

I just booked a stay for our beagle, Shiloh. Teri answered the phone and she was so AWESOME in answering questions, offering to send a cost-estimate, and scheduling vaccinations in time. She was so kind and professional. It makes a difference to have such a great communicator on the other end of the phone!

Fear or tyranny? Curbside ONLY means; where you drop off your animal, stay in your car during 'the service' and they bring your animal back out to you. In no capacity would I ever accept a 'trust us' mentality for a first time visit! Especially after reading these reviews and other research. My dog needs a Chiropractic adjustment after having a litter of puppies and they refused adjusting her outside, I wasn't allowed IN the building or in any way, accompany MY animal. After explaining, the tech told me that she's 'sorry that I feel that way', in such a dry manner that it confirmed my decision. I'll never return, always share my story and let the reviews stand for truth. Ask yourself why this clinic is going to such extreme measures when every other business has figured out how to operate safely for the last 2 years! Fear is not my problem, Dr. Isrealsen has no right to force his fear on others. I will not allow tyranny in any form and neither should you!

Wow, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Miller and this Veterinarian office. I am so glad that we ran across them. Our first visit with our Dog was fantastic: thorough, kind, and understanding. I appreciated the candor and wealth of options Dr. Miller made available to us. Further, the space is updated, clean, and the services offered are extensive.Second, we recently brought two of our chickens into the vet's office. Our nine year old daughter, and their caregiver, was quite upset because it was their time to go. Try as we may to convince her of the humane ways of terminating her chickens, she was distraught even though they were ailing. She ultimately agreed to bring them into the vet and we agreed to pay the fee to have them put down, insofar that she spoke with Dr. Miller to ask him questions about how chickens were typically killed, why it's important to understand when it's their time, etc. We sprung this conversation on Dr. Miller when we dropped them off and he handled it like a champ. Firm, factual, and compassionate. It wasn't easy for her to have her chickens put down, but we appreciate that he took time to do it.We will be bringing our animals to Dr. Miller and this veterinarian office for the foreseeable future. We have had nothing but positive experiences there and are confident that will always be the case.

I’m so happy to see our vet taking great health precautions to keep their employees safe and to continue to remain open in a pandemic. They have a very smooth system set up where the techs come to your car and take your pet inside. The quality of care is fabulous and now I can trust their safety for their employees and our community.

Love it here, each time I take my dog here they honestly care so much! They only want what is best for the animal and the staff are very friendly. Once you’re in their system, they send you emails for when the next check up, booster, or vaccines are due! It’s so easy to keep my pup healthy with them.

Don't get me wrong, some of the vets and techs that work here are nice and great. I have an issue with the company itself. First, they claim to be AAHA accredited but their quality of care is no better than any other vet. Second, they charge outrageous amounts. They just charged $40 to stick two needles in my cat, claiming it's an injection charge, and that was not included the cost of the actual medicine, the total after my vet wellness plan was $120. When I've asked why their prices seemed excessive, the tech told me a big long sob story about giving their patients the most humane treatment, which like I said is no different if not worse than any other vet I've been to. Additionally, it irked me to discover the vets earn commission. Anyway, it cost me more to get my cat checked today with an appointment for a fight he was in last night then to take him to the emergency vet the last time he got in a fight (about 6 months ago).

Very thorough and very patient with my high anxiety dog. He does not like visits with the vet and they were very patient with him. They took their time to ensure he was fully checked out without stressing him anymore than necessary. Prices are high, but you get excellent care.

We love Mountain View. They've taken great care of our furbabies during routine checks and also during larger health problems. All surgeries have gone well. Both locations have been good (North Logan and Providence). I believe employees go back and forth between the two. We like the Providence location better but we still go to N. Logan sometimes.Taking our babies to the vet is very stressful and hard for us (we love our little ones so much!) And Mountain View makes the experience better. They care so much and take the time to know your pet. They are also great at teaching us how to understand our animals (feeling for lymph nodes or watching behavior) to better know how our babies are feeling.

We just moved to the valley and had our first appointment today. The chiropractor care provided by Dr. Israelson is top notch and I really felt like he cared about the entire wellbeing of our cat. I look forward to incorporating his other veterinary expertise into our routine.

Editing and reducing my rating based on my unfortunate experience today. After 8 years of taking two dogs to this clinic, I have abruptly had to take my business elsewhere. I called to schedule a simple vaccination appointment moments ago and was told my account was not allowed to make appointments because the last appointment I made a few months ago was not kept. I believe I could have missed it, honestly I don't remember so I do apologize. However, that's all it takes to be blacklisted at this establishment. "The history of missed appointments (3 in the last 8 years - and I think this number includes called in cancellations), means that you are only eligible for same day appointments based on availability." After I expressed my shock and disappointment, I was put on hold and then told I could make an appointment at the other facility, but it was emphasized over and over again that if I don't keep that appointment I'll be charged a 50 dollar no show fee. This would have been alright with me if it wasn't told to me several times in an extremely condescending tone. I mentioned that the way I was being treated was making me feel attacked and I didn't think it was merited. I understand business and I know appointments are better kept, and I also understand no show fees. What I don't understand, is treating a paying customer who is calling to make an appointment, feel like a dirt bag criminal with no respect for your establishment. I am not a crier, but I literally hung up the phone in tears because of how I was treated. I'm writing this because I'm so shocked and outraged that I was treated like this by a business I've patronized for so long. I've always loved the service I've received from the very professional and well educated doctors and staff. What's happened?

My elderly cat needed to be seen as an emergency, and they were able to squeeze him in that day. The staff was very helpful and understanding. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

I love these guys- so helpful and honest.I love having the option of drop-off appointments and emergency visits, even for after hours. The vets are also really nice, explain everything really well and are relatively conservative with treatments- meaning they won't push expensive or unnecessary fixes unless they really feel it is needed for the wellbeing of your pet. I've had vets that would go for the most comprehensive and expensive routes even though a less expensive and less intrusive fix would have worked. I wish I could take them along with me where ever I go once I graduate.

The staff at Mountain View Veterinary Health Center has done an exceptional job caring for Juniper, my 12 week border collie pup. As a first time dog owner, I was relieved to find that the staff is overwhelmingly supportive and accommodating to answer any medical or behavioral questions I have about her. They sent me a text message the day before to remind me of my appointment, were prompt, and treated Juniper so kindly.I highly recommend this health center as well as Juniper's kind and competent doctor, Dr. Israelson.

I have brought all of my pets to Mountain View, and they are incredible. They really go above and beyond to make your animals feel comfortable. My dog had severe anxiety about being alone at night when she had to be there for observation, so one of the techs took her out of her cage, and let her stay the night with her. You don't find that type of devotion everywhere!

They had my dog for 7 hrs to get groomed! We had to call 4xs to get updates with little to no explanation... Also no apology for ANYTHING when we picked him up. Not cool. We will NEVER GO BACK!!!I ordered Jimmy John's and they could at least tell me they'd be 5 mins late.... Your staff needs training, these are like our kids!!!

Mountain view veterinary clinic in Providence is great. Good staff, always friendly. They are priced fair for the market, a little bit higher than some of the other clinics but their facility is also nicer. They take excellent care of animals and are very knowledgeable.
