It's a really nice store and the folks are friendly and knowledgeable. However, their website is a complete mess and their lumber selection is horrible. Good luck trying to complete any decent sized project using their lumber.

Some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. My trailer broke down in Wellington, and they helped me out of a tight spot. Thank you so much. Talk about customer service, and kindness. Customer service above beyond to a complete stranger. Even offered to let me park my trailer in their store parking lot or at a relative's place of theirs that was close by to where I broke down. Great great people. Highly recommend this store.

Excellent Service!!!My parents had purchased my fiance the combo drill kit for Christmas. One of the drills wasn't working properly so we needed to exchange it.He preferred Brushless but when it was purchased they had run out of the brushless set. When we went to exchange it they were kind enough to switch it out even though the brushless was no longer on sale.

Very friendly and great service. They helped me out by tying my stuff down on my vehicle when I did not have anything to tie it down with. Did not have to pay for it or anything awesome people! Number one place to go and do business with in my opinion. Very very friendly.

Other than a less then good experience in the past with an order, we love the place. Its a bit more expensive than Home Depot, but no one is comparing because it is in a rural area with little competition. Lots of friendly help, and a decent selection.

Prices are definitely not as good as Home Depot or Lowes. It's a smaller big box store with lumber, cabinets, windows, doors, tools, etc., but, the variety is lacking. It's not uncommon to not be able to find what you're looking for. Service is usefully pretty good. I'm glad Price has a Sutherlands, but I wish it were Home Depot.....

Employees are hard to find. If you can find one they only might know where or what you're looking for. On top of that they don't seem to care to do any more than the minimum. Sadly I never walk out satisfied. But they're the biggest hardware store in town.It's good to shop local, but there staff and prices make it hard.

Prices are a little high, but it's a small store in a smal l town. That's ok. And I have been here for a week or so. And been here for all the little parts and pieces. Mostly it has been a good experience.Today, though, I bought some more parts and pieces and the lady at the register only had time for her coworker. I obviously interrupted a conversation by being a customer. My bad. They were talking about maybe a customer or coworker who had to quarantine or something. The amount of interaction I got was "your total is". Literally, the 3 words spoken to me.I don't require much. I'm not a talker. I want to get in and out. But if you are going to make me feel like I am a bother to be your customer. I probably am. Maybe I should be going to somewhere that accepts a person trying to give them money.

Very clean . Employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. For the size of the town it is stocked fairly well. The location is great . Easy to find on the road. The prices are kind of high. Bathroom is clean , but needs new reading material.

I have spent thousands of dollars here over the years and am pretty fed up with the quality of lumber. Despite hunting for non-warped and twisted pieces, you cannot find enough for nearly any project. Recently, I needed three 12' 6x6 posts. they only had 4 in stock and every single one was too twisted to be used.

Well stocked, great variety, staff are generally helpful. Sutherlands has everything you need for working in or out of doors. They general DIY'ers and contractor types the same; like a customer. Springtime, they have great deals on plants. Best hardware store in town.

Awful experiences here. I've been in to shop there about 6 times since moving to the area. Not once was I greeted or offered any assistance. Employees working in the same aisle (19) I was in completely ignored my request for help finding cabinet hinges. I went to the front a for help and was told they would "try" to find someone to help me. They acted as though they were going out of their way to help me. Upon returning to aisle 19 the two employees who ignored us were gone and nobody else ever arrived to help. We abandoned our cart and left. I have no intention of returning.

Went in to get their instock cabinets they didn't have what we needed. We tried for three weeks to get them and they never did. We finally had to go up north to get them. Then we went in for a sheet of cdx payed for it went to the yard to get it and they didn't have it. This is the worst service I've ever had from this store. It's really hard to want to shop local when they don't have and can't get what you need in a reasonable amount of time.

Great customer service, they always have whatever i need in stock with one exception. Which was a trailer door which needs a specific cut. No store in the area has it in stock. But great store overall.

I usually like to shop hometown but sutherlands can't be beat when it comes to customer service and helpful associates they have a vast knowledge of their products and a quite the assortment they specialize in everything from a to z for the home and yard!
