A friend and I grabbed breakfast .We arrived shortly after they opened so we were the only ones there. Everything was clean, including the restrooms.Our server was friendly and responsive. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time.Everything was cooked to order, tasted fresh. The rye and wheat breads were amazing.I plan on returning to try other items on their lunch menu.

The food isn't terrible, but... My roast beef sandwich and fries were incredibly greasy. Any flavor was overwhelmed by the grease. We were seated at 12:42, and the food finally came to our table at 1:27.

Not bad diner food. I had a pepper jack bacon burger and fries. The burger had a big half pound hand made patty. It was sloppy and juicy and delicious like I'd expect. The fries were perfectly done. It all had the perfect level of diner style greasiness. This ain't health food. Service was quick and the restroom was immaculate. I spent $11 on lunch, not bad.

I ordered the fish sandwich with a large fry. It was delicious and probably could have fed two. I ended up taking the fries home and eating them as leftovers. Best fish sandwich in town, hands down. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the wait staff. The pricing was decent and definitely well worth it.

Today was my first time at Big Moe's. The burger I got was great. Seemed hand made and tasted amazing. Very pleased. The problem was the fries. They were very soggy tasted kinda burnt and it was one conglomeration of potatoe.. it was inedible and very dissatisfying for my first and possibly my last Big Moe's experience. Even though I got my food to go, I waited 25 min for it to be ready which was fine when its good food. I live 2 min away so my fries shouldn't have had time to get so nasty. Thus 2 stars all around.

We were in a hurry and let the waitress know. She said our breakfast would take 10 minutes to make, which was true and gave us enough time to eat and go. Wish we could have had more time- the food was classic diner deliciousness, more than we could eat. Waitress was great. We wanted to go back the next morning but they were closed for Memorial Day. Their hours were 8-2pm.

Waited 20 minutes for someone to just take our drink order. There were 4 tables with people, they saw us. We left after waiting 20 minutes. Apparently they don't care if they had our business. Always takes forever to be served which is a shame because the food is good. Service is the worst.

Service is painfully slow... but the servers are kind. Burgers are good. Fries are really greasy and soggy. I tried their sourdough bread, but was disappointed. It isn't artisan sourdough like I had hoped. It's super soft and tastes like white bread. Definitely not the real deal. There were only 7 people in the restaurant eating at lunch time... which isn't a great sign.

Such a big disappointment. We had eaten at Big Moe’s before and really enjoyed it. Sadly our experience today was very disappointing. Slow slow service and then when we finally got our food some of it was cold and some of it was soggy. Our server was nice and tried to make it better but wasn’t empowered to make things right. When I talked to the manager about taking items off of the bill she said that the owner wouldn’t allow her to do that. I would steer clear of this place.

Excellent service from cheerful, kind server, Corrine. BLT on rye was delish, loved the option of a dinner salad as a side, French toast sandwich was excellent with sourdough, eggs sunny side up, perfectly cooked bacon. Generous portions, great value!!!

Nice down to earth place to have breakfast. The pancakes were big and fluffy, with good butter and syrup, bacon and eggs hot and tasty. The looks of the place are not too good but don't pay attention to that. Mostly locals here which is always a good sign. The waitress was really nice to us too.

I ordered a bacon burger with fries. The burger was really good, however the fries were soggy and greasy. If I go again, I will definitely skip the fries. Service was good, only problem was I asked for ranch and the server neglected to tell there would be an extra charge for that. Live and learn.

In Price for work this week, I visited Big Moe's on the recommendation of a local, when asked about a good local sandwich joint. I was originally looking for a good deli sandwich -- which it looked like they had -- but after learning they baked their own hamburger buns and ground their own chuck fresh, I had to try a burger. Had the pepper jack bacon burger and wasn't disappointed. Frequenting some of the best burger places in Salt Lake, I like to think I know a good burger, and I was very pleased with what I had at Big Moe's. It could have stood its ground against some of the better burgers in the Salt Lake area.Everything radiated freshness; from the house-baked hamburger bun and house-ground burger, to the fries that looked and tasted like they were cut fresh (but don't know if they were or not). Overall, a good experience, and I'll definitely be going back to try that elusive deli sandwich that I went there for in the first place.

Heard great things about big Moe's. And what I heard they lived up to. Body container of brownies and they were by far better than any in store bakery brownies I have ever had. I know where I'll be going to get brownies in the future. The young lady that was working was very polite and had a great suggestions on where to get donuts.

I'd love to give my usual 5 stars but the biscuits and gravy were severely lacking this morning. The gravy is usually a creamy white with bits of sausage and bacon. Today, it was gray broken gravy with tons of black pepper and inedible. I was highly disappointed and was craving biscuits n gravy. That being said, our waitress asked how things were going and I expressed my disappointment, etc. She apologized, took my dish and disappeared. At register, the gal cooking took our money, had been told about my meal and didn't offer an apology or a comp. Just took the money and walked away. .I love the owners. Just wish one of them had been cooking this morning.

I LOVE BIG MOE'S!!! They have the best burgers & sandwiches & TO TOP IT OFF they are also cheaper then MCDONALDS!!! Yes my family of 4 can eat there for less then 20 bucks!!! & It's homemade & freshly baked!!! :) We love Big Moe's!! Our family eats here about 5 times a month!!! They are the best!!! In fact I'm about to order me some food right now!!!

Waitress Kristen. Non caring. Cold weak coffee. Took our order. Just two breakfasts. 40 minutes. No food but friendly cashier brought more weak coffee. People who were sitting before us were still waiting on their food. Decided to go. We got up and went to the cashier to check out. Kristen comes up in aggressive stance. "well your food is almost done", "We rather just go it's just taking too long for us." She promptly told us we were banned from eating there again. Her cashier apologized. Didn't catch her name but it was appreciated. Kristen is without consideration for her patrons. This small town diner is a lost cause with service like that.

Super friendly staff! They were so good with us as we brought along our dog. They brought him water and really took care of our family as we ordered breakfast. Meals were very good. A definite place to return to.

When my husband, mother and I were came into and ordered my mother and I were same fish and chips and my husband ordered hamburger. The person brought us very hot. My mother and I have no way to without forks, it did burn our fingers and fish was not fully cook. We were waited for lady to come back to us and we would ask for forks. She did not came back then maybe half hour. We asked for forks and replacement fish cook done. We decide never come back again. Chef and lady are not good service us. Did not refill drink when we were waited. It is waste our time to wait for her. Never come back again.

Doesn't listen and unattentive. Had to repeat order multiple times then received 3 out of 4 orders wrong. Returned with "corrected" order that was not what one of us ordered so we gave up asking. Never cane to refill drinks or to give us our check. We were the only ones there and they had 3 employees. Food wasn't all that great that we did get.

Valentine's brunch was delicious, I had an omelette and pancakes, the pancakes where shaped like hearts. Denise had the Ruben sandwich. It was so good.

Great Breakfast experience! Good coffee, fluffy pancakes. Hasbrowns a tad undercooked but still good. Salt and pepper shaker needs to be cleaned. Will come back again!

This is my shout out to Big Moes, I work here and while readng the reveiws i want to asure people that the service can be tough depending on who serves you. Sometimes you will get slow service during lunch rush as all of our food is fresh! But the wait is worth the wait and there have been new servers since the reviews were made on this site.The owners care about the customers very much! So, if you want the best sandwichs and burgers in town as well as fresh made bakery items come see us! if you are in a hurry call ahead we will make your food for you before you come to dine in. Ordered food for take-out, and was told it would take 30 minutes. It ended up taking an additional 15 after I arrived. There were 3 occupied tables and the waitress was losing it trying to take care of them. The food was ok. The service was horrible.
