Just an awesome bike shop. I was from out of town (Texas) but Mark and his sidekick (didn't get his name) did a great job retaping my hoods, new pedals, and a tune on my bike. They have great friendly customer service and even recommended a place to eat that was just as good. I appreciate you guys Altitude Cycle.

My 9 year old was in the market for a new bike. Mark the shop owner took good care to ensure he got fitted for the perfect bike. He did several test rides outside the shop until he found the “one”.We love doing business with locals and appreciate the expertise! We will definitely do business here again!

My bike is completely messed up. I took my bike here to get a tune up and the breaks fixed. Once I left Price to move to Cedar City one of my pedals fell off completely. I took it to a shop there and they said the pedals were put on the wrong sides! So the guy put a new arm on it because it was now stripped. Then I was riding again and not five minutes later the other pedal pops off. I do not recommend this shop if you like actually pedaling and not walking your bike. We are now on the side of a busy highway trying to get it on ourselves.

Went in for a hub rebuild during a bike tour. Did a good job, test rode my bike, and gave me a free tire on top of it all. He made me aware of service that I will soon need. I like when bike shops look over one's bike, and do that.

Super nice guys to work with. They fixed the flat tires on our bike very quickly and even adjusted the seat and tightened handlebars to make sure it was ready for my kiddo to go ride. We will definitely be back.

Ordered a bike, paid in full, 9 days after ETA of the bike I called to canceled my order, Was greeted with a very rude attitude and blamed that i caused major problems and issuing a refund its a big pain. One week later i had to call and ask where is my refund. 4 days later finally got my refund -35$. Nobody ever mentioned any fees or anything. Rather let 35$ go then call to deal with this shop again. Very poor customer service, will never recommend to anyone to visit Altitude Cycle not in Price nor in Vernal. After such treatment no wonder people turn to other L B S or online.

I live about an hour north of Price, but pass through frequently for work and fun. Stopped in to this shop for the first time today to inquire about trails and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Absolutely great shop with great employees and an amazing owner. They shared info and told us of their favorite spots. We went back after riding a trail they suggested and gave them a report on conditions and a huge thank you for the info. Go give these guys some of your money.

Ed totally saved my trip to the Wedge. I was having some mechanical issues. Called up the shop, Ed got everything I needed ready. My family grabbed it as they came through behind us. He gave them a great price and they said he was super happy and helpful. Awesome to know a LBS exists in Price that will hook up total strangers. Thanks Ed!

I have stopped in several times the most recent to get a new back tire for my MTN bike. They were super fast and friendly. If you haven't ridden Price they have fantastic trails that are well marked and groomed by the locals. Plus most are on the Mesa above the town and once you drive up to the parking area it is fairly flat, yet beautiful which you don't find often in Utah. These guys will help you find the best trails.

Since all of our local trails in SLC were still under snow, my son suggested we drive to Price to try out some new trail systems being built in the area.After only 10-minutes on the trail I lost traction on the front wheel in a corner and tipped over into a cactus patch. I spent the next 20-minutes pulling dozens of barbs from my hand. My gloves were riddled with cacti barbs and I decided to ride on without them. I few miles up the trail my bike developed an unusual creak in the cranks. A quick inspection showed that I had lost two of the four chain ring retaining bolts. I hiked the bike a 1/4 mile to a dirt road and managed my way back to the truck.NOT a great start to my ride.I found Bicyclewerks on the map and drove straight over. I spoke with Ed and explained my situation. They had several bikes in front of mine but since I was from out of town, they went ahead and helped me out so that my drive from SLC wasn't wasted. We went to lunch and the bike was ready when I got back. New crank bolts and a new pair of gloves and we were able to continue our ride.I HUGE thanks to Ed and the guys for helping me out! This the first time I'd ever been in their shop and they treated me like a local. I will definitely stop in and say hello the next time I'm down their for a ride.

I had a great weekend biking around Price thanks to Fuzzy and his shop. I stopped in to ask about dog-friendly biking in the area and this generous soul responds with a grin. Then he offers me s complimentary trail map with his insight to great places to try. Turns out Fuzzy is one of the guys (if not the only) maintaining and breaking new single track trails north of town. Stop into Bicyclewerks for your bike needs (deals Santa cruz), good conversation, and guidance. Thanks again Fuzzy.

I rolled into town from Seattle asking about the area and trails ,bikes, coffee and grub. FUZZY was awesome, he turned me onto all the local knowledge of all things hip in Price. A++++. I am heading back in about 2 weeks and hope to get to ride his new mapped trails network. Great asset to the community.

There's been a change of personnel and it's refreshing and makes visiting the shop a more enjoyable experience. There also has been some false perceptions about ownership among other things, but stop in and see what's different and get the facts.
