Went to the Pharmacy tonight to pick up my child’s meds. The lady at the counter was very rude and condescending when I was asking her why they do not have the meds when I just called in Friday and was told the meds are ready to be picked up. She told me that I was lying and told me to stop acting like the B word. I told her that she didn’t need to cuss at me so then she proceeded to call me a child. I let her know that she was the one acting like a child and requested to speak to the pharmacist. He found out what had happened and found the meds. He was a lot nice then the lady was. I have the whole thing on recording thank gosh!

Horrible horrible horrible. Do not go to this pharmacy. They are constantly out of stock, they have horrible customer service and they will never call or let you know that they can’t fill your prescription if there is something wrong with it. There have been so many times where I have talked to someone on the phone, refilled my prescription and gone to pickup and they don’t have it ready.I talked to the pharmacist and he was not a patient person. They didn't have my prescription so I have to go to Provo instead. Absolutely wild

Be careful with this pharmacy. If your prescription isn't covered by your insurance, your prescription won't ever be filled unless you call in (despite what the automated message says). If you call to get it filled, they wont tell you that it's not covered by your insurance and you won't be told that they put it under good Rx unless you ask at check out. Make sure to clarify prices of medications before purchasing and make sure the prescription is covered through insurance. I had a prescription that was improperly called in by my physician as 3 a day instead of 2 but the quantity was still 60 so I thought it was a months supply. When I called in, I got a rough, short answer of "it's for 60, right? Come pick it up when you get the message." No warning that my insurance didn't cover it (which is why it was only filled when i called in) so when I checked out and a loud car went by - I trusted the total was the same as it always is. It was not. I'm now out $100 because even tho I ran in as soon as I got the medication and looked at the reciept, they couldn't return the medication due to state law.

I rarely give out 1-star reviews, so you REALLY need to work on it to have me do this. The store itself is great, and I actually really like the cashiers that work there. My issue is with the Pharmacy. Between the worst customer service I've ever experienced: from multiple people there who couldn't care less about my situation to them giving nearly $700 in prescriptions of mine to someone else (I had just moved to town and am a large, white male - they claim a Hispanic women with my name picked it up for me) and 4 or 5 things in between I just gave up.I moved to CVS, deleted my account, and have zero intention of ever going back. I've been a loyal customer for 15 years, moved all over the US, and never had an issue with Walgreens. The pharmacist and his team at Pleasant Grove were enough to break that.I do not recommend this pharmacy. The Walmart down the road and the CVS in American Fork are much better places to get your meds.

Lady in the drive through talks rude to customers . Came in to get an antibiotic for my sick daughter. She told me to give about 20 min. With no one in drive through. I came back through drive through 17 min later she told me I hadn’t even given her half the time. What had happened to customer service skills and talking to people like they are human beings. What is the difference between sitting in the drive through and going back around or telling them okay I’ll stay here and wait for it. To going inside and waiting for it. They still give it to you quicker if you here waiting for it. Taking my prescriptions all to Maceys now. At least they’re more personable and kind.

Really they should put two people at the drive-thru. They always help everyone at the window before they help people at the box, kind of annoying especially when you were there first. Use both the drive-thru lanes if you're going to have them there, stop skipping everyone because you're lazy!

I'm not one to usually leave a bad review however I think people should beware of buying gift cards at Walgreens. I go in there all the time to buy gift cards for clients. I gave a really good client a $500 gift card to Amazon. When he went to use it it did not work even though we had the activation receipt and code. When he called Walgreens they said it was a problem with Amazon and Amazon to him it was a Walgreen issue. The manager told me she couldn't help us. They said it looked like the card was returned even though there is a no return policy on gift cards. I am embarrassed to think that I have had other clients that this could have happened to and they never said anything. My client figured since it was such a large amount he needed to say something. Needless to say 2 months after buying the card and many calls, emails to Walgreens headquarters, and getting my bank involved (I paid for it with my debit card) I was finally issued an Amazon credit. They were beyond unhelpful and it should not have been that difficult to figure out the card didn't work and was not used. We had the original packaging and everything.

My wife had eye surgery and was prescribed a few days worth of pain and sleeping pills by the eye surgeon. I dropped the prescription off at this location and came back the next day. I was told that it hadn’t been filled because the pharmacist, Steve, does not believe eye doctors should be able to prescribe those medications. My wife was immobile in bed at the time and I had my six kids waiting for me at home. I was forced to go to another pharmacy and wait for them to fill it, which they did without hesitation. Not sure why a pharmacist can veto a valid subscription, or why they didn’t call me to let me know they weren’t planning to fill it.

Pharmacy is INSANELY slow. I've been there waiting for nearly half an hour on multiple occasions. I honestly don't know how they manage to be that slow. There can be one customer in front of me and I'll still be there for 20 minutes. Also I just don't have much love for Walgreens in general. Extortionate prices on everything in store. Definitely avoid buying anything there unless the extra cost is worth the convenience.

Pharmacy appears unable to manage their workload. I was denied services despite having made an appointment. They were unwilling to accommodate. This Walgreens is otherwise reputable and provides good service.

Took my daughter here for here Covid-19 vaccination. Had a 9am appointment, no one else was there and it took 45 minutes. I got mine at Smiths and I was out of there in 10 minutes. The second shot was even worse. Waited 45 minutes then told them we had another appointment and could we come back. The girl got frustrated and said I’ll just do it. Took another 10 minutes and my daughter said she was very rough with her and didn’t say a word. I told her thank you as we were leaving and she didn’t respond. Pharmacy needs some attention.

I recently went in to get my first dose for the phizer vaccine. The younger girls at the front desk were super nice and welcoming to me, but I noticed a man in the back glaring at me. I thought this was strange but ignored it. I then found out he would be the one giving me the shot. He was very short with me and seemed unhappy. When he gave me the shot, he did it very forcefully and it hurt. It also started streaming blood, which has never happened to me before. He never told me to to wait 15 minutes even though that's protocol. And he also didn't tell me to have a good day. I unfortunately never got his name but he was working April 13th around noon. I went to a different Walgreens for my second dose and had such a better experience. I was wearing a rainbow mask, and I am assuming he made an assumption about me and treated me bad because of it. Watch out for this man when you go! Go to the Orem location instead!

Did not call me back when they said they would and my insurance wouldn't pay for things sent here.

After spending an hour in line, being purposely skipped by the cashier more than a dozen times I had to leave a review. Don't come here. I only needed 1 piece of paper printed from a pdf now my whole days hours behind.

Have been going here for several years, yes they are often understaffed, but generally try to be up beat and kind. Went in w questions for the pharmacist on staff ( one I had not seen before) and he was rude, impatient, and treated me like I was an inconvenience. I had a question about a script I had, when he saw the script he said if you want that filled your in the wrong line, even the tech was quick to jump in and say I had a question....the discussion went downhill from there. Thinking of having all my scripts changed to different place

Went to refill a prescription, and I had a new insurance plan, but no physical insurance card yet, just digital. When I asked if I could just give my member ID and insurance provider to get my prescription, the man working gave me a flat out no (this has never been a problem ANYWHERE else I’ve gone before) and turned me away. He said he “had an automated system that looked for insurance based on the customer info” and since it didn’t find anything that’s all he can do and he refuses to look it up manually. In what world can a pharmacy not look up my insurance if I have all the information to give them? Seems like an issue of not wanting to do more than the bare minimum to me.

Not impressed. I called in a refill for an existing prescription at 8am on Wednesday. I confirmed with the automated machine that I'd pick it up after 10am on Thursday. When I arrived at 11:15am, the girl said, "Let me see if we have that in stock." And then, "You'll need to wait 10 minutes for the pharmacist to check that off." Fortunately they did have it in stock, but I still had to wait for them to get it ready for me. Apparently 27 hours to fill a prescription isn't enough time...

Doing a return with receipt in hand. They asked for my driver's license Then the cashier grabbed his scanner and scanned all my personal information into their system! Major violation of privacy and poor policy!

This is not a 24 hour Walgreen's. Walgreen's corporate model is to run their businesses on minimal staffing. It doesn't matter which store you go into, they are always short staffed by at least one person (whether in the store or in the pharmacy). With that being said, this store has a great staff, albeit overworked. Sure, any place has different personalities, but when you get to know them, they are great people.

Awesome! Walked in and was not sure where to find what I needed. Looked around a bit and was not able to find it, so I asked an employee. She was super helpful, helped me find it right away and didn't rub it in at all when it was in an aisle she had seen me already look in. I left with a good feeling. Thanks walgreens!

Took my daughters prescriptions here because my regular pharmacy one was out of what I needed. I got the run around saying that my insurance wouldn't cover it only to find out that they never even submitted it to my insurance and I had to take my daughter back to the doctor to get a new prescription. This Walgreens is so beyond slow and not convenient and they didn't care to make this right.

This pharmacy has very poor customer service. I called them to get help with getting a prescription for an antibiotic. They said they would do it and to give them 30 minutes to have it ready. I called 45 minutes later to give them time to get it all done. They said that they hadn't done anything with it because they were too busy, on a Tuesday morning, and they wouldn't get to it for another hour. I let them know that I only have one day off a week, Tuesdays, and that I needed it as soon as possible so I could get rid of an infection so I wouldn't have to miss any days of work. She just said it will be at least an hour. Right after I got off the phone with them I called Cedar Hills Walmart Pharmacy. They said they would be happy to do and have it ready in 30 minutes, and they did. I don't appreciate the way the tech at Walgreens spoke to me on the phone. I live about two minutes away from this Walgreen's pharmacy and will never use them again. I will also not be recommending them to anyone I know or come in contact with.

THANK YOU!!!My daughter has a peanut allergy and you probably saved her life! She's a high school student that was eating at the local Panda Express, whatever she ate was contaminated with nuts. Of course, she did not have her epipen on her and her friends brought her your pharmacy and you provided! Seconds and minutes matter. Thank you for simply acting!A very happy and grateful dad

I changed my insurance and they made me go to Walgreens. Man, what a mistake. They have done nothing but harass me every time I go there. I cannot get my prescriptions because of the harassment. I must go back to my old insurance where everything went like clockwork. I do not suggest anyone to go to this pharmacy.

I had a horrible experience with the Walgreens Balance Financial prepaid card and the manager Ryan was so helpful. He was very understanding and went out of his way to help me out and do the best that he could to rectify the situation. I'm still going to say this: the Balance Financial card is an unbelievable joke. Don't waste your time. But if you ever have a problem and you are at the Walgreens in PG, ask for Ryan! He was awesome.

So not once, not twice, but multiple times they have contacted me about refilling a prescription (a good thing) and then when I go to pick it up, they don't have it and don't know when they can get it. I ask, "can't a human call me and let me know that you don't have this before I drive to the store only to be told that you don't have it and won't for months?" This can give me time to find an alternative pharmacy or call my doctor. I know this happens to others also. If you are going to be in the business where peoples health is at stake, please do a better job.

I've been coming here for nearly four years. Today the new pharmacist manager refused to take my prescriptions because "we don't hold them for customers anymore." They can't be filled for two weeks. I've been submitting them when I get them from my doctor every 2-3 months for four years, every single time one or two isn't ready to fill, and they have never had a problem. I lose them if I keep them. The man has two jobs: counting pills and filing prescriptions. Today because he's lazy and doesn't want to do half his job he lost a customer.

Our family choice of pharmacies. The service is good, the prescriptions are usually fast, (15-20 minutes), prices are competitive, and while you wait, there is stuff to look at. :-) There are many pharmacies within easy reach of our home - even those closer to us - but we enjoy shopping where on Christmas Eve, we can go-at-it till 11:00 pm, if we need to...and we have!

2/18/2020 visit update: Dealt with Assistant Store Manager named Edgar - worse manager to be dealing with! He didn’t make anything easy for the customer when it comes with a digital coupon, and seemed like he couldn’t do his job that comes along with his title. Attempted to get the Store manager but came back and said the Store Manager was “on his lunch and won’t budge”, so Edgar had no choice but to solve the issue himself - wow, Edgar didn’t perform as an Assistant Store manager and should not be in that position in my opinion. Edgar also gave off the feeling that he does not enjoy his job very much. Needless to say that I will not be enthusiastic in coming back to this location. Such a sad experience, as it’s close to home. Had a great experience here in 2017, but I guess that was short lived.
