Love this location and the staff are amazing and they really are super helpful and go above and beyond. They are really the best and when I go there I feel like I am with family and freinds and not like any other grocery stores. They go above and beyond and thank you for all you guys do.

The store is excellent. Great meats, fresh produce, great deli selection, fresh herbs, pharmacy is well staffed, in store bakery too. The only issue I have had is with their Digital DEALs, you have to tell them or it does not ring up. Frustrating check out with large orders.

This is a smaller building than most Smith's grocery stores. It is a Kroger store. This location caters more to farmers and I think an older crowd. You won't find much in the way of organics, prebiotic drinks, or a wide variety of any products. But it is a good store, with a pharmacy, US Bank, Customer Service which includes a post office. The employees are friendly and helpful.

I've made several online orders without any issues, but my recent one was cancelled for NO reason by someone at the store. Luckily I checked my order status before leaving for the store, because I hadn't received notice that it was ready at the time it should have been.I was told when I called that "sometimes they cancel orders because they suspect fraud". They have your contact info and access to your order history, why wouldn't they contact you and ask if you had placed the order, instead of just canceling it! So annoyed!I thought I had finally found a decent place to spend my money.

I went to three different stores looking for candied cherries before going to Smith's. I found them at Smith's. I should have gone there first. I worked for Kroger for 20 years. I found them in the produce department where I new they would be. Thank you Smith's.

They have a great variety selection of groceries, their bakery does really well and their prices and deals are the best comparable ones In town I feel like.

I spent all this time trying to download a digital deal to get their stupid ice cream for a $1.99 and it wouldn't work then I get up to the register and ask the cashier if she could give me the digital deal that I couldn't get it to work. She says she would then I get out to my car and it's not on the receipt. I am so sick of their little gimmicks that they have and these stupid digital deals that you have to spend your time downloading or you can't get the price. Stop playing games and just give the customers regular low prices. Shopping at Smith's gives me anxiety!

I visited the Smith's Food & Drug Pharmacy in Payson, Utah today (January 3, 2023) to pick up some prescriptions for my sick mother. I dropped off the prescriptions at 10:45 a.m. and was told that it would be about a 20 minute wait. I did a little shopping, took the groceries out to my car, and returned to pick up my prescriptions at about 11:05 a.m. After sitting and waiting for about 15 minutes (it was about 11:20 a.m. by now), I finally went up to the window and asked if my prescriptions were ready. I was told that only one of the three was ready. So, I went back to the seating area and waited for probably another 10 minutes or so before I went up to the window a second time (it is now 11:30 a.m.) to see if my prescription were ready yet. They finally were, but, of course, I'm quite upset at this point in time, so as I was paying for my prescriptions, I commented to the pharmacy technician that it was a good thing they were ready, because if they weren't, I was going to ask for my prescriptions back and was going to go somewhere else to have them filled. Yes, I was being rude, but I never expected the pharmacy technician AND the pharmacist to speak as rudely and unprofessionally to me as they did. They laughed at me and told me that they would welcome my leaving and taking my business to another pharmacy. And when I commented on how they were not visibly busy and it shouldn't take that long to fill a prescription, they invited me to come back into the pharmacy to see how busy they really were. And finally, after I had paid for my prescriptions, the pharmacy technician basically threw my prescription bag at me and walked away. I asked for the pharmacist's name, but he wouldn't give it to me, however, I could see the technician's name on her badge, so I decided to visit with the store manager. I told the store manager what had happened and he was very nice and said he would speak with both the pharmacy technician and the pharmacist, but I'm sure nothing will ever come of it. I also made a phone call to Smith's Corporate Offices and I am still waiting for them to return my call.I wanted to share this experience because I think it's important that people understand what they might be up against if they decide to visit the Smith's Pharmacy in Payson. I will never give them my business again, and I'm hoping others might re-think giving their business to them as well. The male pharmacist (dark hair) that was working today, is just terrible, as was the female technician working at the window. It's amazing to me that they thought they could treat me that way and nothing would come of it.

Good selection, convenient location, clean store, friendly and helpful employees. Produce is fresh and good quality. I can often find useful coupons in their app. It's worth downloading. I especially enjoy the discount on gasoline!

The produce and meat dept. are a must for the freshest products. They have good sales quite often, along with earning points on all purchases to use for discounts on gasoline. Smith's is my favorite grocery store.

Pharmacist was very rude on the phone. I was just trying to get some information on where I might be able to get my prescription filled, and he was very short with me and hung up the phone before k could even finish my sentence.I will never be giving my business to this location ever again.

Smiths was always my go to place for meat and sea food and I'm not picky but, no longer a legit place for crab legs or lobster tails FYI...this is a 1 year long review. Chek it out for yourself, sad sad sad! I need seafood!

I was there about a month ago, never been in the store. As I was checking out I asked about the discount card and the cashier got huffy and short with me. This was in the morning

I love Smith's, and I wish this location was bigger so they could carry more items! I shop here quite frequently. Some of the cashiers are better than others, and I wish they had self checkout. The seafood/meat department seems to be understaffed as when I need help at the seafood case I have a long wait most of the time.

I love this store. We stop by 1-2 times a week for fresh bagels. I also love the floral and balloon department for birthdays. They make gorgeous bouquets. I love that I can find gourmet items like different cheeses, lady fingers, fig jelly, etc. The people there are generally friendly and thr prices are reasonable. They have great sales, so stock up when they do. Their produce section is smaller, but high-quality.

I have been a loyal Smiths girl since moving to Spring Lake almost 26 years ago. They have become family & friends. Over the last 2 years, they have gotten a batch of a few new people, but they treat you like family, they know me by name and I them, we ask how each other are & our families. The pharmacy has changed the most, but those that haven't left/retired or moved on, treat people so well, and care about their people more than any other place, *Esp. Walgreens 😠😖 But 100% & 100/100 will always recommend this store over huge conglomerates like Walmart - plus, here you actually get something in return. Buying groceries & medications, gets me quite a bit off gas. I've even made it to a full 1$ off before, it's usually 10-30 cents for me (but it's just me) if you have a family, you can rack up more points a lot faster. And don't fret, if you haven't been able to do any of that, every time you buy gas you get 3 off ♡ this is such a great, family-friendly, amazing employees, best baggers that greet you all the time kind of place ♡ I really need to stop now before I write a novel, sorry about all that!!

This store is for white people and their bland taste. I’m white but dang this place just does not have much to offer as for meats and other things outside of white culture. Couldn’t even buy chicken thighs or shredded pepper Jack for example. If you are cooking anything other than bland tasting food look somewhere else. However, this is in Utah county and it’s called smiths, so I guess I should have known.

Sorry I usually don't like to complain about things but I purchased 2 Boston cream cakes about 7 months apart. The 1st one was awful so I thought it was just a bad one but when I tried it again months later it was the same. So bad I just had to throw it out. You absolutely need to find a better recipe to make the one you are currently using is terrible.

I have been searching for a particular medicine for my daughter that has been out of stock basically everywhere since everyone has been buying everything off of the shelves. My wife called Smiths and they actually had it in stock!! I run over there real quick showing up at 7:50 only to be told they were closed so they could have time to sanitize. That is all fine and great but it's 7:50 the store closes at 8:00!!! They would not let me in. Not only that one employee in particular Zack was very unprofessional. I asked to talk to the manager and he said he doesn't know who it was and that he was busy. I asked for the phone number and he claimed he didn't know it? What employee doesn't know the phone number of where he works?? I finally got the phone number and managers name from the female employee. I called and the phone rang for over 15 minutes with no answer from anyone. I will never shop at this store again.

I shop here regularly, the coupons are tailored to my previous purchases and I enjoy that my bag points and purchases allow me to save on fuel. I drive past other stores to get specifically to this one. My one issue with this store is the space. Often items on sale are placed in carts at the back end of the store which makes traffic with your cart difficult when there are others shopping, which is pretty much all the time. The ends of the isles are also filled with too many items and going around each corner is tight, it’s rare I don’t knock something over during a visit. The store is simply too small, as a consumer I’d love to see Smiths expand into a larger, cleaner store. As a business owner I realize they are doing the best they can with the space given. Here’s hoping we get a Smiths in Santaquin or Juab county ;)

This Smiths fuel is very quick to raise prices on the day that the price of a barrel of oil goes up. There should be a month delay by the time it reaches stations. Heaven knows they take at least a month to lower the prices when a barrel drops.

Just wanted to put in a good word for someone named Ron who helped us at the Payson location. We forgot to use our fresh value card and just kind of mentioned it after we had checked out. My wife asked if it was possible to still apply it. The cashier who helped us kinda acted like it would be pretty inconvenient, put he reached out with such a friendly and helpful attitude. He just said "yes if course we can help you with that. Come on over here and we'll get you taken care of " he made it seem like it dad no trouble at all and made us feel very important. He obviously new what he was doing and explained everything so we were aware of how our request was being carried out. I don't think I've ever experienced a better attitude from any cashier I've ever met. Any store that has a cashier like that should try to hold onto them, because he made a huge impression on the whole store in my opinion.

I am only giving this location a 2 star because I almost always have a great experience shopping in-sore--honestly, the checkers and baggers are lovely and the produce section is quite good for somewhat-rural Utah. This review will be mostly a quick account of my most recent delivery experience, which was a totally and completely ridiculous. The driver tried to deliver $160 worth of my groceries to the WRONG house--and when the owner didn't answer they left all of my items at THEIR neighbors house (which is across the road and adjacent from my home). I have never met these neighbors, and it made for a very awkward introduction during a pandemic (of all things). Also, the shopper replaced instant coffee with coffee that you actually have to brew.....defeats the purpose of buying instant coffee. What adds to this experience, is that when I called the store to make the the manager aware of the situation--she blamed everything on Instacart (the company they hire this process out to) and threw in really weak "sorry" as she was hanging up. I was actually pretty polite on the phone, and felt like she walked all over me and was of zero help. If you can't be alligned with your business partners and support their actions, then both companies are to blame. This was such an obnoxious experience, I kinda can't believe this even happened and that no responsibility was taken. I really don't want to have to go back to Walmart delivery, but YIKES. I mean, leaving $160 worth of groceries at a strangers house? They had my cell number, they couldn't have made a call?
