Have used these guys more than I'd like to admit, but they're wonderful. We had to put down a family dog years ago when his life was at the end, and he was beginning to be in a lot of pain. The staff was extremely supportive, and very respectful towards us, and him. Also have had to call them for poison control advice on multiple occasions due to some dogs that love to get into anything, and everything. They're always extremely helpful.

Dr Grant was our doctor today and his staff got us in first thing and he took such great care of our mom dog to make sure everything was ok from her delivery. He spent a lot of time explaining and examining and comforting! He was very knowledgeable and personable. The staff was super nice and the hospital was very clean. The prices were very good as well!!! I recommend coming here!

The staff here is friendly. They take great care of your pet with boarding. And when your pet gets old and passes away the crematory they work with does a beautiful job with final arrangements for your pet. Thank you for everything. When our hearts heal and get another pup you’ll see us again

We absolutely love Payson Family Pet Hospital! We live 25 minutes away, but it’s seriously worth the drive. All of the pet medical services we tried prior to finding this one had bad reviews, and we did not have good experiences with any of them. We now take our dog and both of our cats here; there is a reason the reviews are so good! All of the staff and doctors are so helpful, nice, and always listen to all of your questions and concerns. A couple months ago, our cat got very sick out of no where and they were able to see him right away, ultimately saving his life. They are the reason he survived and is fully recovered today! If you want a good pet hospital you know cares about your pets, this is the place.

I cannot rave enough! My cat had an allergic reaction to her stitches five days after getting spayed. Her stitches split and she quickly got an infection. I called them worried out of my mind and they got her back in thirty minutes later. The staff was reassuring and kind, treated her and us so kindly. They noticed the allergic reaction, made a note of it on her chart, and made sure that the wound was clean and protected. They sent us all home less than an hour later. Huge relief, literal angels. The facility is so clean and organized and everyone was so sweet.

I personally love this clinic, they have always been super helpful and great with my felines. My eldest one was sent to a cat farm because he loved being outdoors and I didn't want him to be trapped inside all the time, he's doing great so that's good lol. Now I am bringing in two baby kittens that I've had since the first month and they are just as good with them as well <3 I recommend this place to anyone without a doubt. I remember I also only had 260$ one time when the bill was around 270$ and they lowered it enough for me so BLESS 🙏. But this place is definitely the place to be to bring in your fur babies. 10/10 😺🐶🐦🐁

We've used Payson Family Pet Hospital as our go to for Emergencies after hours and for urgent care appointments for years and have loved their care.They're very reasonably priced, and have been outstanding and patient. We include Veterinary Acclimation Visits in each of our programs, and we've always received patience and understanding from the staff, as we've been helping our human clients teach their dog the vets office is not a scary place to be. This is an incredibly important part of the training process and makes a lifetime's worth of vet visits a piece of cake for our furry clients and their families.We refer all of our foster/adoption, and training clients to this practice as they go above and beyond, and truly care for their patients.Thank you PFPH!

This clinic was incredible. Our sweet family dog had cancer and we decided to put her down. The vet tech and veterinarian were both so empathetic and kind to our sweet girl as she passed. They were professional and informative about the process making it personal to our grieving family. Very impressed with their facility and staff.

I had a really terrible situation with my dog. She was seizing and ultimately, despite lots of effort from the staff, we determined she needed to be put down. It was a really terrible situation as I’ve got kids and they were devastated. I was extremely impressed with everyone I met there. They were all engaged and kind, to me, my kids, and my dog; they treated her with a lot of respect and provided Time for everyone to say goodbye. There are a lot of hospitals (for people) that could learn some things from the nurses and vets at Payson Family Pet Hospital about customer service, caring, and just doing your best. I wish the outcome had been different but I appreciated that the vets shot straight and shared what they needed to so we could make an informed decision.

After having a nightmare experience at West Mountain Vet where they misdiagnosed my baby and made her rash horribly worse, we came to Payson vet. The vet and vet tech were so gentle and sweet with her. She was doing so much better within a week of going to them. ❤️🐾 We are so incredibly grateful for their professionalism, accuracy, urgency and for their obvious LOVE for animals. ❤️❤️❤️

Payson Family Pet Hospital has been a great vet clinic for my dog. Our previous vet was bought out by one of the giant vet systems and their prices skyrocketed. Payson always gets us in promptly and their costs are fair. Their vets work with you to address all of your concerns and needs without feeling rushed. I recommend them to everyone!

Payson Family Pet Hospital has been wonderful. I had taken my Alaskan Klee Kai to several vets to find out why she was having chronic diarrhea (a problem we had been dealing with for a few years) and no vets could figure it out. One visit to Payson Family Pet Hospital and she was cured. They were able to test her blood for food allergies and we found out she was allergic to tomato, pumpkin, rice, and corn. Most dog foods have these in them, but their lab report provides a list of foods and treats that don't have any of the ingredients your dog is allergic to. Amazing! We picked a food from their list that didn't have those ingredients and she has been happy and healthy ever since!I also had to have a growth removed from my other dog and they were wonderful with him as well.They are very upfront about what the cost will be. I haven't had to worry about unexpected charges because it is usually discussed before anything is done.I love Payson Family Pet Hospital and so glad I found them.

We have two Bengal kittens and one of them had to be neutered. This kitten had an infection after the surgery. We went after the hours and they were honest enough to admit that it was their fault, so it was for free. They have very great staff and their prices are reasonable.

Thank you so much to Dr. Fillerup and all the staff you guys are wonderful. Thank you for taking such good care of my Great Dane Kai. My animals are always in such great hands with you guys. I drive an hour and a half just to go to your clinic and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend anyone to your clinic.

My family lives nearly a 45 minute drive away, but they're our first choice for all of our pets and their veterinary care.I had my dog Hanji spayed, and since she had to stay overnight from her procedure I was anxious, but the updates I received from when she was put under anesthesia to when she was waking up put me well at ease.Even right after her procedure, my precious little creature seemed so happy, and I can't thank the staff enough for treating her so well.Same goes for my family's other dogs. They'll definitely stay mine and my family's go to vet office for many years to come.

We’ve always had a good experience bringing our dog here, but today they really went above and beyond. I have a one week old baby and am currently in newborn survival mode, and my dog picked today to ingest a mountain of chocolate chip cookie bars. I had to bring my newborn in with me to the emergency visit. I was pretty stressed and teary, and the kind employees brought me back to a room early instead of having me wait in the waiting room, got me some water, and at the end even charged me for a regular visit instead of an emergency visit, which was such a blessing. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone!

The entire staff is awesome! My Cockatiel was having an emergency on Saturday, I called about 20 different emergency vets and this was the only one who had an avian vet at their clinic. As desperate as I was, I begged for her to be seen that day. The receptionist put me on hold to talk to the vet and then came back and told me they didn't have time for her. I asked for at least some advice from what I assumed would be professionals, so that I could just get my bird to Monday, so she could be seen by someone else. Her response was tips from google. My bird died Sunday night, and I'm certain one act of consideration for my pets life would’ve saved her. I will definitely never be looking at Payson Family Pet Hospital for any further concerns or emergencies my pets may have, as now I know they have absolutely no regard for a desperate pet owner, who is now grieving the loss of her bird of 8 years because of this place's incompetence.

We brought our senior chihuahua in to be euthanized. My wife and I sat in their chaotic and cramped front office for an entire hour past our appointment time. We had to bear through strangers trying to pet her and making comments about how cute she was and that she probably wasn’t happy to have to come to the vet. My wife was having a really hard time and started crying so I finally went up and said something. They took us back to the euthanasia room that had been empty the entire time but instead we were left out in the loud lobby. My wife was extremely traumatized by the whole thing.We had brought her in a few months prior for a typical senior check up and did all the blood work and tests recommended. Everything came back clear and they said she looked great for her age.1 month later she started breathing weird so we took her in. They let us know she was in heart failure and the vet said the previous vet that had done our routine checkup made a mistake because it was very clear in her heartbeat that she was later into heart failure. We spent $2,000+ doing all the procedures (she even had to stay at the vet for 5 days which was brutal on her and us). They made it seem like she could live several more years and that it wouldn’t be a problem as long as she was getting her meds. Not once did they recommend euthanasia. 1 month after all of the procedures it was clear her quality of life had declined too much.I understand it’s common for vets to try and get as much money out of you as they can but for them to put our chihuahua through so much unnecessary stress and pain in the last months of her life is horrible. She should have been taken out of her misery much earlier but we trusted the vets. We will never take our pets here again.

Brought my cat in to be put to rest. The techs and doctors were very professional and kind. They made my cat comfortable in his final moments and gave me more than enough time with him before he left. Unfortunately in my sadness I made a big mistake and chose the group option for ashes and didn't receive any ashes back. If I could go back and change it I would, so I could honor my pet at home with a small memorial.
