Bought a brush for my Aussie doodle dog, its not broken but completely surprised how it took off the handle right away. Was not expecting it cannot be replaced or refunded since I usually will pull my phone number for the petco acct. The manager said shes like theres no record showing I purchased the item in store but took the pic before and when I got home theres a price sticker from Kuhls and their price was even cheaper than petco price. Devastated!!! Super! Poor customer service.

Amazing customer service and amazing fish department! Not only were the employees trained on how to properly care for the fish, but they do their best to make sure that the animals are only going to the best homes possible. They had signs up on the nitrogen cycle, and on how large some of the fish that they sell get, which is awesome! I've never seen that at a petco before. The tanks were all super clean and organized according to fish that can live together. The betta cups were marked with what I assume is the day they came in to the store. There were also some surrendered goldfish that they are taking care of while they try to find them a new home, as they sadly outgrew the previous owners tank.If this petco refused to sell you fish, there is probably a good reason why. It doesn't really matter how long you've owned fish in the past or how much money you've spent on a setup, if you don't have the skills needed to take care of these live animals, this amazing team will make sure that you are properly equipped with those skills before you bring home any new family members.

This store is making a comeback! They have new management and it really shows. The best dog and cats food brands are here, and the live animals look healthy and happy. The grooming side of the store is also top notch, so if you need to give your dog a cut this is the place!

Purchased 4 dog chew toys for my 8 month old puppy. All were rated for “super chewers” or “power chewers”. Within three hours my pup had chewed a couple pieces off one of the toys and was on his way to doing that with another. I went back to the store immediately with the receipt and packaging to return the two toys and was told they do not guarantee their products and that my purchase was not eligible for a refund or store credit…that their store doesn’t take returns of used items. The manager told me to call customer service who then put it back on the store manager. I’m super frustrated and will not give Petco my business again. Bad customer service, bad policy and false advertising - especially when the back of the receipt indicates a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Well, I am definitely NOT satisfied!

I was absolutely furious with the checkout person on the evening of 10/21/23 at the Park City, Utah location. When I went to pay, he expressed his dislike for the brand of dogfood I was purchasing and said he always tried to push “better” foods. I did not appreciate his downgrading of my personal choice. I politely told him that I didn’t care what he thought and he replied “I know you don’t”. I would hate to have that kind of employee representing my company. Please look further into this employee’s behavior.

I recommend this place to anyone who has a kennel shy or uncomfortable somewhat “hard” puppers for a haircut. Amie is absolutely amazing and she is the best groomer I’ve ever met. She handled my kennel shy pup so well and make sure to build a positive bond with him for future appointments. She really cares and she is absolutely amazing at what she does. She did and amazing kissy mustache cut on my mini labradoodle when he needed to be shaved down because everyone else refused him she mad a shave look adorable! Everyone in park city should recognize Amie for her amazing service with our pups!

We needed a harness and leash. Petco had a large selection and gave us options even for our big SHEEPADOODLE . We even found the color I wanted. The large selection of food , toys and everything you could need. We will also consider using the grooming and veterinary services, maybe training too.

I went to Petco for the first time and I honestly wasn’t expecting such a great customer service. There were so many options of food and toys and I was already overwhelmed. Will was kind enough to help me find everything I needed for my dog. He was kind and patient, even recommended some tricks I could use to train my new puppy. He was so knowledgeable and explained everything with a smile in his face I can tell he really loves animals and enjoys pointing you in the right direction. Thank you so much Will! Best associate in retail ever!

We were in the area for our vacation and decided to make a dog grooming appointment to get our dog (Maltipoo) washed. They had our dog for 2 1/2 hours and after picking the dog up it appeared they didn't wash the dog. Maybe it's because they knew we were from out of town but I would not waste a penny at this location.

I have been bringing my dogs to this Petco for years, their grooming salon takes great care of my fur babies. The store is easily one of the cleanest looking Petco’s I have been to. The staff is all really nice and wanting to help, and I know it’s hard to find good staff in this town. Petco will continue to get all of my pet needs business! Highly recommend this store!

I brought my 3 1/2 year old labradoodle to get groomed here. We travel so I use a lot of groomers, after working on my dog for maybe 45 minutes I got a call that my dog was freaked out and they could not continue with grooming or even give her a bath. I was at another appointment and could not come right away. I got a text asking how long I would be as they couldn’t go home till I came, it was 2pm so I’m guessing they wanted to leave early.When I picked her up she was a disaster, they only cut about a fourth of her body and one leg, she looked ridiculous. If I hadn’t gotten her groomed every six weeks with multiple groomers I would believe the issue was my dog.Would not recommend using this location for grooming.

I visited the Park City store for dog food. I normally order an RX food for pick up. I was helped by Hannah. She took time to go through ALL the dog foods to help me select a food that did not have chicken but would help with weight loss. It was a difficult task because most weight loss dog foods use some sort of chicken. I left with a food I had never tried and so far my dog LOVES it. I would hire Hannah. She was definitely enthusiastic about her job and willing to help customers. She was great!

This Petco is one of the best that I have been to lately, I have heard that there is a new manager and staff and it definitely shows. The store is much cleaner than it has ever been and staff is friendly and helpful. The live animals look to be well taken care of and the shelves are well stocked. It is a pleasure shopping Petco but this Petco is a step above the others that I have visited.

Called to ask if they had any saltwater fish and they said they probably did and that I needed to look on their website to see what it said they had. The website said their was some saltwater fish available. I drove two hours to get to them only to find out they had zero saltwater fish and a feather duster that was on deaths door. Never will I go to this petco again. Take it from me choose any other store.

We always use Petco in Park City. Friendly service. Good selection, and conveniently located. Close to lots of other shopping and entertainment so you don't have to make a special trip.

Went in yesterday to look around, half the store was closed off because “the chemicals they were mopping with were too strong to walk on and it was for our safety” no signs saying so we just started to walk and got yelled at. I don’t know if I would want to take my dog somewhere where it’s not safe for us to walk on even with shoes on.

The service at the Park City store was quick and efficient. I was in a hurry and appreciated the speed with which I was in and out of the store. I also shop at the Sugarhouse location of Petco in Salt Lake City and the service there has always been first-rate as well. I plan to remain a Petco customer due to your combination of great prices (for purchase online /pick-up in store orders) and speedy customer service.

Cashier wouldn't let me return an aggressive fish without a receipt. I wasn't worried about the $14. More so the fish's life as I was going to work after driving from Park City to salt lake. So I left it at her register and said good luck with it. Hopefully they put it back in a tank.

One can call this store multiple times and no one picks up. Have to drive to the store to ask a question that could be answered in 15 seconds or less by phone. The only Pet trainer has been out for several weeks and it’s not clear if/when the trainer will be back, so an assistant Mgr said the general Mgr would connect me with another Petco next day, to schedule carrying on with my puppy’s training and never heard back after that. If hold when calling Petco PC they literally never pick up, no exaggeration here. I let the gen Mgr know several weeks ago and it’s still status quoa. When call Petsmart, can speak with one of the store staff right away. Clearly a difference in management, and performance expectations for employees.

I came in yesterday to buy cat treats for my cute little boy cat and I was unfortunately in a rush to get to work. Quick service but I think I was accidentally very mean to the guy checking me out. Sorry bro. I also didn’t mean to click no so quickly on the “save someone’s dying pet with a donation” screen. Btw that’s sad and change the wording. I love dying pets and I would donate but come on.

Closed every day, 3 hours before the posted closing time. Petco website says 9pm. Google says 9pm? Nope, a disproportionately small piece of paper pasted to the front says otherwise. Closes 6PM. Rather than a small piece of paper that is only visible after you already try to enter the store, you should probably update your hours on the website and on Google, especially if you're closing three hours earlier than what you were before. Thanks for making making me waste the gas to drive here.
