Love this lodge. Let me start by saying the owners are wonderful. Very kind and helpful! The rooms are very clean, freshly remodeled. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are perfect! Coffee maker, small frig, microwave, dresser drawers for unpacking (which I love), plenty of space. Feb 2024 we were in room #11 with 2 queen beds. This time we are in #7 with 1 king bed. We are very comfortable in either room.Well lit parking right in front of your room. No stairs. We will be back!

This place is adorable! The most comfortable beds I've slept on in a long time at a hotel. Rooms were cute and also extremely clean! Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, all the amendities of a larger hotel at a steal of a price. It's the off-season, so I think there was only one other guest, therefore super quiet. The nice man who checked me in was very sweet and let me know about the fenced-in in dog area out back, which was great for my 2 who have been stuck in the car for hours. They have a $10/pet, fee which is very reasonable. Definitely plan on staying here every time my travels bring me through this way. Thanks!

A great, dog-friendly place to stay close to Bryce Canyon. Rooms are updated, beds comfortable, and the grassy area for dogs is so much better than the typical small space. We've spent a week here the last two summers - it's a great, reasonably-priced getaway from Phoenix in the summer. Panguitch is a delightful small town with several unexpectedly good restaurants. The owner is friendly and cares about making your stay a great one! We plan on going back every summer!

We stayed here for two night while visitingBryce Canyon and started our to trip from hear to Zion. The owner was very kind and welcoming made the stay great from the very first moment. The room was big enough (we are on a road trip for three weeks, so we've plenty of stuff). It is nicely decorated, was very clean, got a microwave, a fridge and a coffeemaker. There is a nice outdoor sitting area which we enjoyed. Grocery store, restaurants are within walking distance. Gas station right next to it.The place is dog friendly (we were there without pets)

Perfect for who they cater to. All we wanted was a hot shower, a real bed and a clean room after camping for 4 days and this place delivered. The tough part is usually us having the 2 dogs with us, but no issue here! The price is right too.No complaints really. Nice space out back for the dogs to run around, but not 100% completely fenced in that I could tell, so make sure your dog doesn't run off. Other folks brought their pups to play for a bit too. The woman who runs it was very welcoming as well. Really a gem find for us. We'll be returning if we cruise through this part of the country again.

Quiet, eclectic little place, with clean and affordable rooms. This is a good place to stop and get a good night's sleep on VERY soft beds. It is a no frills place unless you are looking for a great shower, I think they have enough pressure to strip the paint off of a '57 Chevy.Rooms: The rooms are very small good for two people. Clean and comfy

We were there for over night stays to and from Idaho Falls. Both nights we stayed in the double queen room. It is roomy, clean, newly remodeled. Mattress was very comfortable for motel standards. Sheets and towels are nice. There are plenty of towels. We had our puppy with us and he enjoyed explore the fenced grassy yard while we relaxed on the patio chairs. Stagfs were extremely helpful and nice. The star gazing was incredible. We would stay again.Rooms: The room we stayed in was very big. Newly remodeled and painted inside. The bathroom also newly remodeled was very clean and good size.Noteworthy details: Nice fenced grass area for dogs and their people to relax

We drove 9 hours to come to this clean, comfy lodge for a good night rest! Room was nicely heated when we arrived, clean and decent size for the price. Host was kind enough to accommodate our late arrival of 11pm and gave directions to our room. Have not stayed in any other lodge/inn in the town but this is lodge here is definitely a good one! No cooking allowed but microwave is provided.

If you are looking for a place to stay for a Bryce Canyon/Zion National Park Trip, congratulations, you have found the best place to stay! The Lamplighter Lodge was the perfect place for an upcoming business trip. The location is wonderful, close to a family dollar, gas station, and local eats. Only 30 minutes from Bryce Canyon and 65 minutes from Zion. Lamplighter Lodge is an exceptionally nice and clean motel. The owner who runs the motel went above and beyond for my stay. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.Ps Although I didn’t travel with dogs I love that they are dog friendly (:

We stayed here two nights while visiting Zion and Bryce National Parks. This is what I would call a motel. It has a parking lot surrounded by 3 single story buildings with multiple rooms in each, probably added on to thru the years. The owner lives in one building and crosses the parking lot to check you in at the desk. I believe she does all the keeping too, but it looks like she has a staff of 100. The rooms were immaculate yet personal and large. I saw there were much smaller rooms, so get the bigger ones if they're available. Mine was 320 sq.ft plus a bathroom, which is twice as big as most hotel rooms. Check out others pictures. There was a small refrigerator freezer with 2 doors and a nice microwave. The floors had been redone in vinyl planking, and the tub in ceramic, really well done, mostly. Everything worked. The AC was old but functional. There was a space heater, but who would ever do the canyons when you need heat? Not me. There's many places to eat within walking distance, and a gas station 2 doors down. Perfect launch pad for visiting the parks.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Lamplighter Lodge. We stayed in the 3 bed family suite which was clean, roomy, and quaint (I especially liked the bathroom that reminded me of our homes original bathroom before we had to remodel). We even took advantage of the table and chairs in the yard to watch the storms in the distance at night! The owner was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend a stay here and will happily stay again should we return to Panguitch.

Stayed 2 nights in early October, and we were very satisfied with our stay. If you are looking for a no frills accommodation that is dog friendly at a competitive price, this is a great choice. Small, well maintained motel with a comfy bed and a spotless room that offers a couple nice touches for doggos—old towels/rags to wipe them off, and a nice green space to let them run around and do their business. Under new ownership within the last couple years, so the older reviews are irrelevant. Would stay again if visiting the area again

Great place! Spotless! Room was big. Comfortable beds. Newly refurbished. Large fenced in grass area for our dog. Owners are good people. Down to earth. We've stayed at more modern hotels that say they are pet friendly but the don't compare to Lamplighter Lodge! We have fallen in love with Panguitch. We will definitely stay here every time we pass through. Picture of Misty relaxing on the comfy bed.

Stopped here on our roadtrip back up to Rexburg Idaho. The reviews were really good so we decided to stay here since everything in Beaver was really pricey. This place did not disappoint! Insanely clean rooms, incredibly nice owner. She made the stay so great. I didn't catch her name, but she was just super nice. Brand new toilet with the 2 options of flushing which was cool. Yes parts of the bathroom were older, but even those parts were spotless. Best part? Behind the lodge is a very open grass dog park with supplied dog bags and a tennis ball. My dog loved it! I will definitely return if we are in the area!

Our stay was absolutely delightful!! Lori, the owner, gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. Our King room, although not yet remodeled, was clean, cute (retro) and comfortable. We brought our two dogs who immediately felt right at home in the large grassy pet area which is completely fenced in and has tables and chairs with a view of the mountains. Good location, close to everything. We stayed a week and enjoyed fishing, Bryce Canyon and sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back to this little gem and our new friend Lori.

Very clean room with a large, comfy bed and great pillows. My room had a big leather chair for relaxing in. I appreciated the low flow toilet, rag bag (so smart!), coffee maker with an actual pot, and soft towels! Plus, this place has a dog run in back that can be closed so your dog can go off leash and sniff around. I will definitely stay here again, whether I bring the dog next time or not! :)
