The Dragonfly is a lovingly renovated motel with a lot of charm. We had a large room with private entrance, which was also completely newly equipped. There are some kitchen utensils and dishes so you can make coffee and tea or eat something small. The room includes a renovated modern bathroom, a super comfortable clean huge king size bed and everything is sparkling clean and like new as everything was recently finished. Parking is right outside the door which is very convenient. Check-in was easy (code came via email) and the hosts gave us a very warm and friendly welcome despite the late hour. Of special note, they totally helped us the next morning as we had problems with online check-in for our return flight. Thanks to them, we were able to sit next to each other on our return flight after all. Really a pity that we could stay only 1 night, because our vacation was unfortunately over. We felt extremely comfortable and will be happy to come back! Thank you very much <3

A lovely place at a reasonable price, the Dragonfly has everything you need and nothing you don't! Vintage period, yet maintained and re-done very well, the room was charming, comfortable and had a lot of character. Bedding, linen, towels were fresh and clean and in like-new condition. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Heater worked great, there's plenty hot water, utilities all worked fine. Jennifer (aka Jen, the host) has a great attitude and is just a very nice person to deal with. In-room coffee kit-trio was a welcome departure from the usual drip coffee makers. At Dragonfly, you measure/add pre-ground coffee stored in a nice glass sealed jar, then add boiling water from the electric carafe through a filtered funnel, so you can brew it as strong or weak as you want, and 1 cup or 6. I much prefer this! One problem was the little plastic creamers were all very stale, tasted awful, and I couldn't use them.I would stay at Dragonfly again!

This hotel is a 30-min drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. If you don't mind the 1-hr drive back and forth and on a budget, this place is for you. Most of the hotels I've searched in this area are old and rickety and pricey but this hotel is a GEM! Not only is it perfectly clean but the price is 2-3x cheaper than other hotels.Let me tell you the many reasons why you should stay here:1. The owners are very responsive through text. My son and I were coming down with a head cold and came 2 hours early and they were able to accommodate us on short notice, like literally a 15-min notice. The hosts/owners are fantastic!2. The room is very clean. You can tell by the way they set up the room that it was designed with form and function in mind but most importantly it was set up like the way the owners would their own home. Little touches here and there that are always EXTRA is what I loved the most about this place.3. Full service kitchen - Some rooms have kitchens like our room. I was able to cook breakfast in the 2 mornings that we were there. They have chopping boards, dinnerware, silverware, condiments, oil, a ref and microwave and dishwashing liquid (ALL ORGANIC). They had a small table good for 4 too! What more could you ask for?4. Food - Desert Grill is a 2-min walk and Cowboy's Smokehouse Cafe is a 1-min drive from the hotel. Both restaurants are awesome with delicious meals with good portions.5. No key cards needed. They give you a door code to unlock the room which is very convenient. You just show up to your room and key in your code, no check-in at the front desk necessary.6. Price - Ultimately, it boils down to price. With it being under $90 with a full service kitchen and the room is well-appointed, hands down this is the best-priced hotel you could ever find in the Bryce Canyon area.Would I stay here again? In a heart beat! <3

What a charming delight! I just completed a solo trip through southern Utah, and spending a night at Dragonfly was a great call. After glamping for 3 nights closer to Zion west & St. George, I wanted to enjoy a few more creature comforts on my last night, coming off a full day of hiking & exploration in Bryce before driving back to Phoenix. I enjoyed the retro vibe, cleanliness of my room and the property, and the simplicity of checking in and out, thanks to the clear, simple instructions. I particularly appreciated the quality of the linens and amenities, the beautiful tranquility of the mountain view out my window, and highly convenient location. All in all, this made for a perfect ending to a memorable trip and easy getaway for the ride back to AZ. I will be recommending this location to friends and family and hope to return on a future adventure. Thank you, Jenn and Brent!

My partner and I recently used the Dragonfly Motor Lodge as our homebase during our trip to Bryce Canyon National Park and I have only positive things to say! It was about 30 minutes from the park. The room was clean and equipped with a ROKU TV setup, a kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee, paper towels, plates, forks, etc. The bathroom had body wash, shampoo, and conditioner as well. We also loved the self-check in process. The bed was comfortable and spacious (King). We ran into Jenn on our way out and she is SUCH a sweetheart. We will definitely be back.

The Dragonfly Motor Lodge is a great little retro motel that is lovingly being restored by the owners. Brent and Jenn have done an amazing job making the rooms comfortable and clean while having a retro chic vibe. If you are looking for a throwback feel while staying in a clean and updated place the Dragonfly Motor Lodge is the place in Panguitch. We spent the evening under the lights by the fire and it was a wonderful ending to the day. The bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies. The bathroom area has fantastic original tile work. The shower had great pressure and heat. I can't wait to stay again at this lovely place.

This was the cutest little place near Bryce Canyon National Park. Jenn and Brent were so sweet and so accommodating. We stayed in the pet friendly suite with a kitchenette and it had more than everything we needed! We had drip coffee, pots, pans, fridge, microwave, and pits outside to grill. We had an issue with the lock on the door and Brent fixed it almost immediately. Thank you guys for letting us stay here and explore utah! We loved it!Nearby activities: 15 min drive to Bryce Canyon!

I was hesitant to book a motor lodge, but Google ratings were very good so I took a chance. Turns out to have been a surprising outcome..Our room had been recently remodeled with a very modern theme. Brent was quite helpful and responsive with my check in questions including setting us up for an early arrival. And,, his mother in law stop by to greet us in the parking lot to fill us in on the local eateries and the owners' venture into the hospitality industry.

My daughter and I were doing a cross country trip and when I found Dragonfly Inn I knew we had to give it a try. Very convenient for visiting Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. The motel has a very cool modern yet retro vibe. The rooms are very bright, clean and the bed super comfortable. We were hoping to spend time on the cute patio with beautiful murals but it was a little too windy. It will be fun seeing all the great things that get done with the renovations.Rooms: Comfy beds and very bright and spacious rooms. Nicely updated but with a retro vibe.Nearby activities: National parks-Bryce Canyon and Zion.Food & drinks: Flying Goat for breakfast and Backroads yBistro loved the mountain berry salad.

My husband, our doggie Jojo, and I stopped for an overnight stay at Dragonfly in September 2022 before Brent and Jenn transformed this old retro-motel on HWY 89 in Panguitch. A year later we returned and got to experience Dragonfly's reincarnation and we were positively stunned. They really achieved a great vision for a clean, comfortable, aesthetic with many helpful amenities. Felt like an BnB experience. We were able to make our coffee, breakfast in the room, pack and go! The building is also very accessible and easy check-in/check out. And a great location next to a public park to walk around with Jojo.If this was an AirBnB I would classify Brent as a "SuperHost." We will definitely be back and hopefully for a longer visit.

We were passing through panguitch around midnight and really needed to stop to sleep, but didn’t have a reservation. Another local motel was unhappy about the hour and turned us away. We woke the host at dragonfly and he was so kind and accommodating. The room was nice and clean with new bedding. Beds were comfortable . No weird smells or dirty carpet like many motels have. Very quiet too. Will stay again!

We had an event at the fairgrounds and city park. This is right next door. They have their own outdoor fire pits and enclosed area where you can enjoy your own beverages. The owners are on site even though the check in is keyless. The motel is old but remodeled. Single storyNice towels and sheetsGive it a try you won’t regret itOh and it has air conditioning 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

My husband and I stayed at this darling retro motor lodge recently. We were able to bring our little dog along as well, which was a huge plus for us. All I can say is that it was a pleasure to stay there. Adorably decorated, clean and comfortable, nice choice of available products and kitchenette supplies. We will be back Dragonfly 💐

The dragonfly was sweet, and there has definitely been effort put into the details. Luxury towels, quality soaps. Clean and plenty of outlets. The only negative comment I could have is the quality of the bedframe and mattress. I did not sleep well with all the noises the bedframe made as I moved to try and get comfortable on a hard, thin mattress. I honestly would stay again, we were gifted with limited edition t-shirts for the hot air balloon festival and were within walking distance of the Deseret Grill who are famous for their cinnamon rolls. I appreciate all the worl that has been done to the dragonfly and look forward to improvements in the future.

What a cute, eclectic, little gem of a place! We were pleasantly surprised with how light and clean our room was. It had everything we needed to use as our base camp as we explored the surrounding areas of Panguitch, Bryce Canyon, and Carmel Junction with our UTV & our mountain bikes. What a beautiful area to explore & what a nice motel to come back to each night to eat our dinner & relax by the fire on the darling patio!! It was so fun to meet Jenn and Brent (the owners) & they where very friendly and helpful, you can really see the love they have put into this 1950's motel! We will defintely be coming back to stay at the Dragonfly for the Panguitch balloon festival.Rooms: Both the room and bathroom was bright & CLEAN! You didn't get grossed out at all (like in other motels I've stayed in) Bed was comfortable & we loved having the little kitchenette for our groceries.

When traveling it’s always a relief to find clean, well taken care of rooms and the rooms at Best Host (soon to be Dragonfly) are definitely both. What makes this place a really great and valuable place to stay are the good-hearted, hard-working owners! They were knowledgeable about the area, kept the rooms and grounds clean and motorcyclist friendly!

The room was clean and everything worked as expected. The Motel was brought just recently in Aug 22 by Brent and Jennifer. Brent is super friendly. He recommended a restaurant to us and we had a great little talk about Bryce and our travels. We felt very welcome. 🙂The Motel is a little old but they work hard on improving it and bringing back its charme. Brent helps you 24/7 if necessary. It's only 30 minutes from Bryce. We'll come back for sure.

Comfortable and clean room. Brent and Jennifer are super sweet and helpful. It's clear they want to provide excellent customer service. The motel is basic, with no frills, but it is also in the process of being "brought back to life," as they say. I'll bet when Brent and Jennifer are done remodeling and revamping, this is going to be a terrific little place to stay.
