We had a great little stay. We arrived late at night and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Check in only took 2 minutes. We stayed in the 3 bedroom family suite. The rooms were clean and comfy and we appreciated having the charging ports at each bedside table. Happy to find this place near a great ice fishing spot, Panguich lake.

Family ran buissness with great hospitality and attitude. My mom and I were traveling to Cedar City but got caught in a snow storm and decided to bunker down for the night. We arrived late in the day with no notice but Lisa took care of us and gave us one of the renovated rooms- I think 11. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and large. If I were in the area again I'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful & clean motel close to Bryce Canyon. Owner was so friendly and helpful when we checked in! We stayed in a newly renovated room (#9) which had the most comfortable mattresses out of our entire road trip. Shower was the only thing that was not newly updated, but it worked, was clean, and had hot water. Was very pleased.

The rooms are very congested and the the washrooms were the worse. They were broken and had no space. The bath tub was broken and looked like some worn out thing. The sink and commode had no space and I found very difficulty using it. Tried communicating the same with the host, and she was very reckless and didn’t bother to address this as issue. And also had the audacity to say that she purposely gave this non renovated room to us as we got it for less price from third party vendor.I would not recommend this place to stay.

The service was good and they let us change our reservation without issue, however the building itself didn't exactly seem safe or fashionable. The ceiling had a sparkles in the popcorn texture. The shower had a full sized window to outside with blinds that got very wet when the shower was used. There were also some strange demanding notes all over the rooms. In the bathroom it said that if any of us vomit in the shower, we would be fined $250 plus any plumbers bills. The paint in the room was very sloppy too. Other than that, the temperature was consistent, the roof didn't leak, and the neighbors weren't too loud. So it was a fine shelter and held up in all the ways that mattered.

The room that we stayed in was okay but the restroom was disgusting and smelled horrible. This motel is showing as a 3 star on google but it doesn’t deserve it. We booked it for 2 nights and vacated it in a single day. The host was very harsh when we talked about the condition of the room and mentioned that she gave us the room because we booked it for a cheaper price online. There were no pictures of restroom when we made the reservation otherwise we would never have booked this.

I was very nervous about staying here in the middle of the night while driving alone and 7 months pregnant, but the staff was extremely accommodating, and the room was clean. I almost feel bad for their need to explain to people how to behave in a hotel room, by leaving notes. It's pretty sad how people treat what isn't theirs. I was able to check out easily in the morning and slept quite well! Thank you. If trips through town require breaking up the drive, I'll stop in again.

Not the nicest place but it got the job done. I try to support local businesses and I wouldn't suggest you avoid this place at all costs but it definitely could use some work, especially the bathroom. Pros: Our accommodation had three connected rooms/beds so we could fit several people, mini fridge, cable TV, AC worked well and low cost. Cons: overall feels a little rundown, beds were not terrible but not good, bathroom was really rundown, the tub was so gross looking that everyone decided not to shower.

We stayed here for visit to the Bryce National Park. The park is only like 50 minutes away from this hotel so the rates are pretty reasonable if you’re staying here and plan to visit the park.Just remember that the rooms are really small but they are super clean at the same time.Be careful with the bedsheets soon as they impose a strict fine if you dirty the linens.

I am so sorry to the staff and owners for not writing this sooner, they are wonderful. As a business person you look for a place to sleep that's clean, comfortable, this place Rocks! I really enjoyed my stay, it doesn't have the free breakfast, but its worth the stay. I will definitely stay again when I come to the area for business or pleasure.

Kind of a cute little place but all the signs in the room make you think you might get charged extra to use the toilet. Maybe for the price a person pays you could afford to wipe down the moldy ceiling above the tub, add a box of Kleenex and a little better soap. The bed was very comfortable.

Amazing experience at Canyon Lodge. One of the best beds I have ever slept in! Only 25 minute drive away from Bryce Canyon National Park entrance and at a wonderful price. The owner is super friendly too! We will 100% be returning to Canyon Lodge for our next visit to Bryce and Zion!

The place was very nice. We really liked the size of the room and the space. The price was right. There is food nearby and there is a good wifi signal. The food isnt open later than 10pm so make sure you give yourself time to eat. The staff was friendly, seemed to be family owned. They have ice inside just ask for it. The room was really clean and actually had shampoo and conditioner unlike a lot of other places i stayed. (i didnt think so many places dont have both or forget to refill). They have a cute little notebook in which people can write about their vacations and their stays at the Motel. we read it and it was nice, really nice warming touch. Either way this was one of my best stays of the last vacation.

The host gave us a warm welcome and all the informations we wanted on where to eat and what to do in Panguitch. But the rooms are not so big and ours was packed with two big beds. The door felt unsafe if you want to leave valuabes items inside. And the shower definitely needs a re-fit. Plus it wasn't completely clean.

Great for a place to stay before Bryce Canyon: For the curious, I will list the notable good and bad separately.##Too Long; Didnt Read##cant beat the price, every thing was nicely made, good wifi, sketchy bugs found but seemed like a fluke, lady was unpleasant##Good##- Wifi was fast- Had a fridge, microwave- Bed clean + neatly made- Seems recently remodeled, little gross stuff in corners as per most motels.- Good sized room- parking out front of room- warm water/good water pressure- amazing price for two people##Bad##- No light outside of room after dark. I'm sure the area is fine but that felt sketchy going into the car- Found 2 bugs on my bed, one in the pillow case, that looked like a baby cockroach. I book cheap motels often and this instantly meant a full room search of every crevice. No signs of poop/eggs and literally the whole room but the fan/door was sealed. Found a bug trap in the room. seemed fine but sketched me out- The host who let me in, an middle-age woman was less than friendly. no altercation, but it felt like attitude of "youre bothering me"

The service was good, although we didn't see many employees during our stay. The rooms needed updating, and some of the carpet was stained. It was an acceptable place for an overnight stay, but being there for a week would have gotten uncomfortable.

Relatively clean but old. Hairs in my bed. Moldy shower curtain. Only one mirror. You can poop and brush your teeth at the same time. The boy who checked us in was about 14 years old. Good for a sleep and roof over your head.

We were a confirmed late check in. We called confirmed our credit card number. They said they would leavethe door unlocked. They gave us the room number. We arrived at 12:30, as was communicated. The room was locked. They had never called to change our status. We show up, the room is lock. The office door is locked. There was a number listed to call. We called 4 times. We got no answer and no call backs. That's a nightmare at midnight after a 6hour drive.

There's a phone or size the office that's supposed to be for after hours, good luck getting someone to answer it. The rooms are cold but the heaters work great. The biggest upset is the shower. I definitely wish it were bigger.

I almost had it....... like .... a memory of a dream..... or maybe it really happened? .... the trail's gone cold. Three arrows left in the quiver and sun sinking fast... food or shelter food or shelter.... shelter. I can.... I can find food in morning light.... there, there! Across the street from the Ace hardware store and the Phillip 66.... the.... Canyon Lodge Motel, Yes!!! I will seek respite here and God-willing have the strength to journey on in the morning. Dare I dream... but yes! They have warm customer service here... and and and the wifi is good and the outlets accept usb and The Bourne Identity was on the tv when I turned it on and they were socially conscious with their distancing.... this..... this is the inn of which the faeries sing. The inn which my grandfather said would shelter me on my quest. The quest to save our people. The quest for her--- also there was a microwave in my room.

Nice, quiet, comfortable, clean, and reasonable priced room. We loved the old style rooms, that had been updated to a point. Will definitely stay there again.

The location was great and check in was quick. The room was okay. The mattresses were a little hard, but for the price it was satisfactory for one night.

Ben, Lisa and their staff take extra care to make sure that your stay is comfortable. This relic from the days of long road trips is updated and ready as a single night stay or as a home-base for traveling to the sites.

I was pleasantly surprised, it's a barebones motel but it was recently remodeled, at least the room I was in. It was clean and warm and smelled nice. Not bad for $50.

Very accommodating with a bit of charm ... Staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely choose this over a chain motel/hotel and would come again!

Canyon lodge is a 1950s era roadside motel in the small town of Panguich Utah. The owners are friendly and the rooms are old but comfortable.
