This is a review for the groomer that is at the store, not for PetSmart. We took our Labradoodle in to get a teddy bear cut and told them what number cutter to use. Instead she got a shave. See the pictures to see why I gave the review I did. I have included a picture of how she normally gets groomed compared to this time. Sadly my normal groomer moved overseas. I gave it a two-star review because they were friendly.

Make you pay for the dogs grooming before they bring your dog out so that you can’t refuse to pay when they make him look gay. Asked for him to be shaved all the way around and he came out lookin like froo froo

One star just because it wont let me rate as a big zero. It’s the second time I tried to bring my dog to the Orem location . I won’t try again. The service is so bad ! First time I scheduled a bath and brush only because I brush my Goldendoodle daily and he was not mated at all. They told me either they would shave him completely or they wouldn’t take him on. I took my dog home and scheduled the same service at the Riverton location on the next morning and they did a great job! Didn’t even mention shaving him ! Lazy Orem people ! And this week I tried to schedule a bath and brush again at Orem only because I wanted to be on Saturday afternoon and they were the only ones with an opening. I will have guests tonight and tomorrow for a family gathering / birthday celebration and I wanted my dog to be clean and cute. It was scheduled for today at 4 pm and guess what??? They called me at 1:30 pm to cancel my appointment!!!!!!!! Of my gosh ! They should close their grooming salon once they are not willing to work!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

It’s a great store! Pretty clean and well stocked. They have what my baby needs and even have some cute clothes.The grooming dept is also great! I started to take him there to get groomed because they do Sunday appointments which is when I’m available for and Petco was keeping my dog for grooming for up to 5 hours without a bathroom break. (I felt so bad for my baby having to hold it that long.)All the stylists are great but Hannah is especially the sweetest when it comes to interacting with my baby! I love leaving him with her because I know she’ll be super sweet to him while he’s stressing out.

I’m so upset, I went in to get some fish and found almost every tank had ick or the fish were dead…I brought up the concern to an employee and was brushed off and told they would “wake up”?!? Ur kidding. Don’t bring these fish into your tank. They will infect it all.

Go somewhere else to get your dog groomed. They are not good with first timer or nervous dogs. Heather dragged my dog to the back by the leash wrapped around her neck and that should have been the red flag to get her out of there. $129 and oh wait she offered $10 off because she didn't shave/trim her because my dog was scared so I paid $119 for a bath and nail clipping. I understand if my dog was a lot to handle and totally agree it was the right call to not shave her but ripping me off was uncalled for. Had to call the store to be somewhat refunded since it should have been $40-$70 instead and they were kind and ended up refunding the whole price. Always nice employees, very helpful, but steer clear of grooming. She came home and drank water like her life depended on it, she probably would have been less scared if she didn't sit in a kennel for 4 hours. Beware

This is for the grooming , Kaylee R is not so great with dogs she is not patient. I brought my dog here to get groomed and she was a little nervous and she just pulled and dragged her to the back with those leashes that can easily choke a dog . I DO NO RECOMMEND COMING HERE WITH YOUR PETS . DONT BOOK WITH KAYLEE R

Love this store and will never go to PetCo again. PetSmart has everything and more you’d need for a new animal or your beloved animal. Here is a one stop shop that isn’t overpriced as PetCo. They have so much variety in brands to help find the best first. While they can make pet needs fashionable for your home. The workers here are the best as well it is very pet friendly.

We had a great experience adopting our new furry family member at this location. The staff didn't know much about the cat's previous life but went out of their way to find all information they could during the adoption process. They also gave us a great coupon booklet to help us get the essentials and let us take his bed home in the carrier to help him transition.

I always find what I am looking for. Getting through to grooming is a struggle so I went somewhere else to have my dogs nails clipped. I still continue to go here for all my dogs food and treats.

Very unprofessional! We made an appointment for our (my sons) cat to be groomed. Scheduled for a week out on Friday at 12:30. My son works nights off at 8 am. He got home, stayed up to take our cat in. After wrestling with her for 30 mins to get in the carrier he took her in.He went to check in for the appointment and they told him "I don't see you on the schedule and, you couldn't have an appointment today, we don't do cats on the weekend" and proceeded to reschedule him for another week away.I personally thinks it's extremely unprofessional to call your customer a liar. I'm sure that my son wouldn't have stayed awake, after working all night just to be turned away.We will be looking for a different groomer and will not recommend our local (Orem, Utah) PetSmart to anyone!

This place has friendly staff members and lots of good treats for your house pet(s). Not much for farm pets but they really don't at any of them. It is clean and my dogs have fun going here because it is so huge.

My review is of PetSmart and their care for CHINCHILLAS. I have not observed any other animal care.It pains me to give low ratings to any company, but I think people need to know to avoid the harmful products that PetSmart carries for chinchillas. The employees all seem kind and the store is well-kept, but I have seen way too many harmful things for chinchillas in their store. They sell lots of toys that contain glues and dyes. None of these have anything that says the glue/dye is natural or safe, so I’ve avoided buying them for my pet. You can tell that these toys are meant to be appealing to people so they get purchased. The chinchillas don’t care to have a cupcake wood chew. They sell lots of plastic products and even have plastic in their chinchillas cage that has been chewed on (toxic for chinchillas). If you own a chinchilla, you know about their strict diet of only hay, pellets, the occasional rolled oats as treats, and wood to chew on. If you go to PetSmart, try to avoid food that contains seeds and nuts and just get pellets, but wooden platforms/feeders (pictured) or just make your own. They’re easy. Anyways, I hope PetSmart will get rid of the harmful products they carry so chinchilla owners buy safe products for their pets. I think a lot of people assume that PetSmart is the expert on all animals and anything they carry is safe for their pet—this is not so. We’ve had a really hard time finding safe products for our chinchilla. (Notice the pictured PetSmart chinchilla eating the dyed bedding 😔)

This is a lovely and well kept pet shop. Very healthy animals and regular adoption events! I loved the cats they had, very deserving of homes--adopt cats! They have hairless guinea pigs here and they are AMAZING. They seemed super friendly through the glass and now I may purchase one as a pet in the future. They also had some gorgeous doves!I only saw a single dead fish out of likely over 500, that's pretty great and it was just a feeder goldfish. There was also a dog poop 💩 and some poor girl stepped in it 🙄 it was kind of funny but also gross 🤢.

Brought my cat for a lion cut to stop dropping hair in my house. The stylist was very kind & I could tell she actually cared about the animals she groomed. Definitely will be coming back every spring. TNX so much!Petco has become my preferred pet store.

I'm giving two stars to the cute lovable cat.That's there waiting to be adopted. Pet smart I would give zero stars if I could.In the past, I have liked Pet smart. However on 9/18/22 I saw hamsters with no water or a food bowel. They had no home to go into sleep or feel save. The guinea pigs and chinchillas only had bedding in their closure.No hay to eat or water to drink. Seeing these small animals being treated like this made me sad and angry.

Today we took our little pug for her first grooming session. She is 7 months old. Still a puppy. We wanted to get the top service, and got very disappointed that they couldn’t do it. She was very excited and nervous and she seemed like she didn’t want to deal with her. But the most disappointing thing, is when she mentioned, that nina was in the notes and would never be able to have service there.As first time pet Owner I was very disappointed with such bad service.

Paula ( I hope I spelled her name correctly) she was incredible and helped me with my dog whom had become stuck in the seatbelt and couldn't breath. I was very emotional and she helped me get a carrier and set it up as I was driving from salt lake city to Los Angeles. I can't thank her enough for her help. She deserves a raise and a promotion. She stayed calm and was very professional. Thank you!!!

I had a fantastic experience at Petsmart today! The customer service was exceptional - the staff was friendly and eager to assist. The variety of fish available was impressive, and the lady who helped me select my fish from the tank was incredibly helpful. I greatly appreciate the assistance and the pleasant atmosphere during my visit. 5/5 stars! 🌟

I got a new puppy. I haven't had a dog for 20 years and had never shopped at PetSmart. I took him with me to look for everything I thought I would need. The associate's at PetSmart weighed him for me, helped me find a good puppy food to transition him to, helped me find a clicker to train him with and gave me a welcome kit with all kinds of coupons for supplies. He's a happy healthy little boy and I couldn't be more happy.

Little hard to find what I was looking for. Staff was super helpful and when a line formed they called up extra help so we didn't have to wait. It was very nice. Everything is kinda pricey though..

I was skeptical of the groomers because it was less expensive than the places around me, but Blanca did an excellent job! She looked at a picture of what I wanted and explained what she could do. It’s the happiest I’ve been with a grooming! My dog gets nervous and shakes but she was so gentle with her and got the job done regardless. Thank you!

Friendly staff, clean store, always willing to help. Only real complaint I have is that when I ho to check out, there is always only one cashier. Then when I get ip to the checkout area, there is a line of people. They never get another cashier. Just frustrating. But, maybe they don't have enough workers? So I will try to be patient! Otherwise it is my go to store gor my dog, Belle, needs and wants!

I have had a frustrating experience here. They were responsive and offered an acceptible solution. I feel like I was taken care of. I'm here today to change my review from 1 star to 4. Since my one negative experience, I have had multiple positive ones. The groomers are so good with both my 20 pound dog and my 120 pound dog. They come out smelling fress and looking adorable! The groomers are friendly and helpful. The store does not smell bad, which I thinks is amazing considering they allow dogs in who try to pee on everything. Mine has tried anyway. LOL
