We camped here to do the Ragnar Zion trail and it's a really nice place. They have good flushing toilets. They have some showers and they have a whole lot of camping. It looks like they have a lot of other fun activities too. But I did like all the trails that we did for running because they went past some really pretty places of Zion Park

I loved it here, and cannot wait to come back asap! This was exactly the peaceful getaway that I needed. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, I slept great every night. The hot tubs are large and hot which was well needed after a long hike in the snow. I stayed in a cowboy cabin and the booking comes with breakfast which was delicious, we got breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, avocado toast, and unlimited pancakes during our stay. The same restaurant has great offerings for purchase during lunch and dinner hours. The cowboy cabins don't have running water or kitchen amenities (microwave or fridge) which is well communicated before you book, but the shower house and the bathrooms were located very conveniently and this was not a problem. The showers run hot and the water pressure is great. They provide towels for the showers, and pool towels in the pool area. Make sure you bring your own shower amenities like soaps and shower shoes.I brought a large yeti cooler to use as a fridge for food, and the main lodge has a microwave, plus hot and cold drinking water.

At Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort, every employee exudes warmth and professionalism, making guests feel genuinely valued. The level of politeness is exceptional. Manager Hahn sets a prime example with his gracious demeanor, ensuring every guest's experience is memorable. It's evident that hospitality isn't just a job here; it's a culture that permeates throughout the resort, creating a welcoming and unforgettable stay for all visitors.

We spent a few nights camping and had a great experience. Everyone at the resort was friendly. We ate dinner our last night at the restaurant and the food was hot and made fresh (diner style food). The bathrooms and showers were very clean, and the pool and hot tub area was great! If you don't mind staying outside of the main tourist town of Springdale then this is the place. They have everything from cabins to tent and van sites!

We stayed in one of their Glamping tents. It was cozy and the heater was a nice touch for the chilly nights. Loved all of the amenities that the resort offered. Got to go in the pool/hot tub, played some mini golf. Nice little spot close to Zion National park, but far enough that it wasn't super "touristy" like springdale is! Would definitely recommend.

Loved the experience of being in the log cabins. Really very remote. Will advise today five to the place during daylight as the road to this resort is winding and risky for driving in the dark ( deep valleys, gorges and animals/deers crossing).Nothing nearby; better to fuel up early. There is one gas station after exit from Zion park (south) but nothing for next 2-4 miles l.Resort has many resources and activities to do there itself. Really amidst nature. Night sky is beautiful and full of stars.Nearby activities: Horse-Riding, Star-Gazing, Mini golf course, Heated pools, Swimming pools, walking trails.

When booking they charge fees for extra people, even if your house fits 6, so we paid for the house and then had to pay extra for the other people which they said was for breakfast. The continental breakfast which was “included” consisted of just bagels, breads, pastries, cereal, and fruit. It was very disappointing for $12 a person. They are switching away from that and so we could just order of the menu but still nothing was $12 so we still lost out on money. I would have rathered just buy breakfast ourself. The house itself was great! It was new and cozy. Had everything we needed! The only complaint about the grounds were it smelt like sewer so bad! Like everywhere 🤢

Zion Ponderosa Ranch offers expansive sites for group camping, but amenities are scattered and challenging to access due to their distance from campsites. While plentiful, including a climbing gym, restaurant, pool, tennis courts, and more, they lack proximity and organization. Clean washrooms are a plus, but goats roaming playgrounds might be a distraction. Jeep tours, a beer garden, shooting, and a souvenir shop add variety, but ongoing construction disrupts the experience. Close to Zion National Park, finding the ranch can be tricky. Despite potential, execution falls short, though glamping options offer a more luxurious stay.

We stayed here a week ago. The whole family was impressed with the property and all the amenities offered. We booked a standard glamping tent and it was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the heater worked great. The bathrooms and showers were warm and clean. The food was really good. There was a music fstival going on at the property the same weekend which we weren't really aware of, so it was a bit noisy after hours but it didn't really bother us too much. The price was right compared to other glamping properties that I researched. We will definitely be returning to the resort in the future.

We just spent the weekend in one of Zion Ponderosa's glamping tents. Our team was there for a Ragnar Trail race and we all loved the venue. Glamping tent had electricity and a heater (it was COLD at night), showers and bathrooms that were kept super clean, a pool/hot tub, and a restaurant. We were there specifically for the race so we did not check out any of their activities. An entrance to Zion National park was only a few minutes away. Oh, and WiFi!

Great resort, wish I found this place earlier, great rooms, great service, great location. I forgot some luggage and they were so great that they mailed it back back to me. Also, enjoyed the hot tubs in the winter very much. Lastly, the staff at the restaurant went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were met and the food was delicious. I recommend the breakfast quiche.

I would 100% stay here again. I got a campsite toward the end of march and it was clean and quiet. The only tour I did that they have was a night sky walk the person running it did an amazing job and I had a great time. Even when the moon is full you get a lot of stars in the sky. It took me 45 ish minutes to get to the main part of Zion the east side is super close and I only had trouble getting parking when I left here at noon so I’d say its the perfect place to stay if you don’t want to stay in town and want to get a head start on the crowds. When you get back they have a pool and more importantly a hot tub that closes at 10pm. There’s also wifi by the main building if you don’t have service. Over all it’s one of the nicest places I’ve camped even being in a tent felt like glamping.Nearby activities: The east entrance to Zion is super close and the main part only takes about 45 minutes to get to. Most of that time is spent driving through the east side of the park. They have guided activities and tours available if you book them in time.Noteworthy details: They 10 private shower rooms by the campsite bathrooms and washers/dryers both cost 2 dollars in quarters to use so 4 total. If you forgot detergent or Landry sheets it’s a dollar each in quarters.

A great stay this winter at the Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort. The Cowboy Cabin was simple. A bunk bed with a couch. No fridge or microwave, we brought a cooler. Clean bathrooms and showers were a close walk. The cabin was cabin-y, it could have felt a little cleaner. Breakfast was great because it was off-season and they were offering meal breakfast options. The location is great for being able to explore Zion and Bryce as the resort is on the East entrance of Zion. The Cowboy Cabin did not come with an above-ground grill like the description stated so we used the communal gas grills by the mini golf course. Overall, great spot with a lot of things to do!

If you would skip the Springdale crowe. This is the place. Just 10 miles away from the Zion east gate. The restaurant is surprisingly good. I love the Burger! So fresh. Night sky watching the stars really amazes me. Everything is clean and tidy. Would love to go back. By the way. The heat in the tent was warm enough to stay even it's just 30s in the morning.

Lovely cabins.. gorgeously place.. our only issue was we had a dirty covers. They were covered in someone else's hair and one spot looked like it had mucus on it. Gross..We arrived to late at night (midnight) to bring it up and we left to early to remember to say anything. Every night was the same. Too tired to remember. Thankfully, we brought sleeping bags and blankets. We used our own stuff to sleep in.We had stayed here before and didn't experience this problem. I really hope this was an oversight by the cleaning staff and that it doesn't happen again as I truly like this place. My family and I might give it another try and hope for better cleanliness as dirty sheets and covers can lead to major health problems.

Great getaway! I took my daughter here for her birthday. We rented a Wagon and it was such a unique experience. The resort was clean, offered clean restrooms, and showers, the pool was so much fun and the staff was friendly during the check in process. In addition we did the horseback riding tour with Scout and the ride was fun, safe and we got to see amazing views of the valley. We can't wait to go back!

We left a night early bc we were so miserable. I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 bc it was pretty clean. That’s all I can say positively of this place. To call this place a “resort” is way off base. We came the week of spring break and the place looked like a campground that was cleaning up between campers. Outside chairs were stacked up high and in the corner and fire pits turned off or placed up and away (even though is was 30-45 degrees outside) I heard one guest ask the front desk clerk if they could turn on the fire pit and she said “you’ll have to ask the recreational center. We don’t do that.” And he replied, “uhhhhh ok.” When he walked away the other clerk said to the other one “it’s actually maintenance. Oh well, he’ll figure it out.” This was after we had asked for a cup of coffee (bc the coffee shop wasn’t open at 2pm) and they said we could pay THREE DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS for a Kerig cup! I think this was the moment we decided to just leave. There is nowhere to get coffee or a meal outside of their “meal hours” and since it is 45 min away from any other food source, that was pretty inconvenient. Also, at dinner the first (and only night) we were there my daughter ordered soup. We overheard that female staff member ask another member if “he made anymore soup” and the girl she was speaking to said “ughhh no he refused to make more.”We made it to a Holiday Inn and are happy with our decision to leave. Hate we wasted $300 on a night…. The website and social media accounts are full of beautiful images and videos- most of which are not from the “resort”; Buyer beware.

Staff member gave me disinformation about the road conditions to observation point. Any car just about can make it except for the very lowest clearance contrary to what the staff member said claiming the road was very bad the last half mile. Probably just the way to get you to pay for their shuttle, so don't. If you can't find parking at the trailhead you can continue down the road and there's several more spots there although that road does appear to deteriorate but not until you've passed several good parking spots.

Simply loved this place. We stayed here 1 night while on a trip, though, Utah. We arrived in the afternoon and immediately said to each other, "we should have come earlier." We went there for a sunset jeep ride. Our driver was a lot of fun. We had good times and fun discussions as we watched a beautiful sunset on Zion.We were amazed at how big, how nice, and how many things they had for their guests to do. Several guided tours that include jeeps, horses, canyoneering, hiking. Tennis, swimming, or hanging out watching sports on TV while employing a cold beer 🍺. Something fur everyoneThen you give so many choices for your accommodations. Tent camping, RV camping, Cowboy cabins, cabin suits, clamping and vacation (we did this) homes that are big enough for families with all the comforts of home. This place is the bomb! You gotta stay here if you're in the area.Food & drinks: They have great buffet breakfast. We had dinner that was really good and more that I saw and wanted to try. The pizza looked great.

We camped here in our tent and car and loved it. We will definitely camp here again. The spots were spacious, surrounded by trees, and we barely noticed our neighbors. The restrooms were new and very clean, including the showers.FYI, the road to get here off the highway isn't well marked. We drove past it at night and had a difficult time finding a place to turn around. My Verizon phone signal and GPS was spotty on the highway. Luckily, my husband drove separately and had a signal from the resort. He spotted me on his map and was able to text me how far to drive back.

I'm not understand why the staff has NOT address these issues that I have read from others that have 1 or 2 stars on here because I'm here now 03/10/24 and I have the same issues! Ok first off my wife and I had planned to stay for 1 night which was a score 8/10 the cabin was nice but the heater was not working and there was spider webs all on different parts of the ceiling, I called the office about the heater they did send someone very quickly and brought a nice plug in heater that had the fake wood look in it and we were satisfied! Ok here's where it turned to a nightmare, when we were checking out my wife and I decided to stay another night because we liked it so much, they couldn't give us the same cabin we had so they gave us a different one well soon as we walked in it we noticed it wasn't near as nice and it was smaller, light didn't work but they did fix it quickly, lady at the desk told me it's an older unit, radiator type heating BUT it did work alright, NOW THE BAD! SCARY AMOUNT OF WEBS THROUGHOUT ON THE CEILING EVEN FROM THE WALL TO THE CEILING Right above my head and I am terrified of spiders, THEEEEEN RIGHT WHEN WE WERE WATCHING TV NOT 1 BUT 2 FREAKING MICE RAN ACROSS THE FLOOR MY WIFE JUMPED ON THE COUCH THEN RAN OUTSIDE GOT IN THE CAR IT TOOK ME ABOUT 2HRS TO CONVINCE HER TO COME BACK IN AND IT was 30 degrees out 9:30pm, I left a message with the office because it was after hrs. I really think we should get reimbursed on this cabin, this could be a really good place with easy fixes at least invest in some dusters with a long extension. Once again 1ST CABIN 8/10 - 2ND CABIN 0/10 I'm sorry I don't do spiders and as far as watching my wife literally run out of ANY place that were visiting to sleep can't expect to get a good review. Oh and let me add, the food and food area and quality I give a 10, scenery a10, price for the 1st cabin wasn't bad 5/10 - 2nd cabin! SMH N/C you figure! Would I come back ummm possibly I know for a fact it's the newer unit and NO WEBS!Rooms: Read my post!Nearby activities: Horse back riding, Jeep adventures, mini golf, hiking, stargazing, and more.Food & drinks: 10/10

My recent stay at Zion Ponderosa Resort was unsatisfactory. The premises were disappointingly unkempt, with noticeable dirt and spiderwebs. Adding to the discomfort, one of the heaters didn't function at night. What surprised me the most was the reluctance to accommodate my service animal. Despite explaining its role, the front desk insisted on charging a fee. I've attached photos to illustrate the cleanliness issues. This experience, coupled with the uncooperative stance towards my service dog, makes me hesitant to recommend or revisit this resort.

One of the best vacations ever! Staff was super friendly & attentive. The four-wheeling was a blast, fire pit at night, loved horseback riding in Zions. The resort is fantastic & being right on the boarder of Zions national park, is also fantastic. Breathtaking views & photo opportunities all over. So much to do here, I highly recommend!

We went to the Ponderosa Ranch to do an evening sunset jeep ride. We really didn't realize how big this place was and how many things they had for visitors to do. Tennis, hiking, horseback riding, swimming pool and hot tubs, and much more. Then there was the cabin we rented. As soon as we walked in, we each said, "Holy smokes, this place is really nice." The second comment was, "we should have stayed for a few nights." We even had a hot tub just outside of the cabin door.... so nice after a long day!The views on our sunset jeep ride were spectacular. Our guide made it lots of fun with anecdotal stories.Food & drinks: They had breakfast buffet. Dinner was served to order and the pizza was amazing

They have free parking for the trailheads. Not sure if the shuttle is free, it was cancelled when I went, so I walked to the trailhead. Hit up the taco stand for some warm food after the hike, not bad.

Service was excellent to begin with. Glamping tent was clean and the amenities (hot tub/ pool/ mini golf course, partner service with East Zion adventures ) were amazing. The only downside it’s that google maps led us the wrong way and it took a lot of effort to find the resort. Also there were guests who disrespect the quiet after 10 pm policy so yeah. Bathroom at the shower house was clean, however not the shower room though. Many people left their towels and clothing / hygiene products there. Otherwise all good.

Perfect location just off main road to approach Zion east side. We loved it. Cute cabin with separate bed room wish was rustic and charming. The food was surprisingly good since I saw precious reviews. I accrue pizza and Brazilian pork and beans which is so good. I would have love to checkout their bakery. Lots to do and see around the resort and the people running place and working there are very kind.

Glamping tents were great for 1st timers. The restaurant on site was solid and it was great that you could book excursions from the property. The scenic overlook hike was amazing. You can catch a shuttle from the property and they pick up every 30 mins. Also a nice bonus, there is a lot of wildlife running around. We saw turkeys, deer, rabbits, and goats all on the property at different times. The kids loved it, especially the goats. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
