I'd never even heard of Winco before today, but I was surprised and very happy with what I found. It's essentially like Costco, but smaller and without a membership. It still has great prices and a huge variety of things to get. The store was clean and easy to navigate, but did have incredibly long aisles. Overall though, a great place to shop at.

The positives: they are open 24 hours a day. Great prices. The negatives is that the late nite/early morning shift failed to honor a manufacture's coupon for "buy two 20 oz Pepsi's get a free 16 oz Rockstar". The cashier was wrongfully told by two managers, a blonde whose name I did not get, and a guy named Ed, not to honor the coupon and that WinCo takes WinCo's coupons. The cashier, Amanda, believed them even though I have documentation from WinCo's policies that it does not have to be a WinCo Coupon, a manufacture's coupon is OK under certain rules (and the coupon met all the rules). I was told a no trepass order would be written against me if I came back to this WinCo location. As a result, I obtained, seven coupons, went to all Wincos located in Cache, Davis, Weber and Salt Lake Counties. All 7 of them honored the WinCo Coupon. I have reported this by certified mail, return receipt requested, with all documentationa and cash register receipts to the WinCo headquarters at Boise

I do not like the fact that they do not have full sized grocery items. To buy half the amount of what I need I had to buy double. I also do not like how they do not have baggers. If I wanted to bag my own groceries I would’ve gone to the self check out.

This store is awesome. Hats off to the bakery department! The fresh French bread 🥖 is delicious. Prices for groceries are great. Awesome selection. Only thing ya got to watch out for is the poor produce.

Have you ever wanted to work like a robot that a Corpo... I mean "Employee Owned" company can force you to work at an unrealistic speed with a manager that hates you? Well then WinCo in Ogden is for you. You might love it the first few months but after that you'll start to see WinCo for what it truly is. Not Employee Owned like they claim it to be, just yet another Corporation that hides behind Employee Owned. At least for this location anyway. And according to some of the employees I spoke to. All this is because of the manager, Matt. According to some of the freight employees I spoke to, he schedules people not by the load of stock, but by how fast they're going. Which explains why they often have only six or seven people. And why most of the products you will find are often broken. It's not because they want to put up broken products, no. It's because if they check the products to make sure they aren't broken and make sure that the shelves look nice, Matt will throw a hissy fit over it. Do not look for a job here. At least until Matt is no longer the manager.

I have not been in Winco for a very long time because of their long stand regarding credit cards. Anyhow, I decided to go because I wanted some products that most likely were going to be there. Unfortunately, some of the products were not in good condition. My son wanted the rotisserie chicken, so I bought one, big mistake as it was tasteless.The prices were good, but now I am 218 miles less on my delta airlines account. I will not be returning sometime soon as the products section disappointed me.

Always better prices. Always a good shopping experience. I get a cart full of groceries for 1/2 the price compared to Walmart. Such a good idea to shop at Winco. You will not be disappointed.

This is a great place. I love that it's open 24 hours. It's huge and it has such a variety of food and goods. It kinda reminds me of a mix between Walmart and Ocean Mart. They're bakery and bread section is huge and they such a side variety of water, sodas, and sparkling water. Still no San Pellegrino, though. They have a lot of bulk bins; stuff like oats, quinoa, rice, candy, cereal, flour, etc. all for a great price. They don't take credit card, only cash, debit, and check. It's also employee owned too, do it makes sense about the credit card thing.

Just bought 265 dollars worth tonight. Would have cost us 350+ if it was at a Wal-Mart or smiths. They have great deals and an awesome selection of fresh fruit/food.

Hey reader, my review isn't against Wincos food. This is against who sells tamales in the parking lot. Seeing these tamales sellers asking people to buy tamales, I thought it would be nice to help them out a bit like buy from them, so I didn't have any complaints until now. So please be careful and ask questions about their tamales before buying from them. I got some pictures, so I believe you'll know what I'm complaining about l🤞

Just yesterday I went out to buy groceries and stuff for my baby, we were heading to self check-out and an employee Amanda decided not to explain how to use a certain card to proceed my purchases. She started turning to another employee saying she wanted to yell at us and started mocking us. We were heading our way out and she ended up flipping us off. My baby and I did not have to go through that!

I love this place they have the best prices on groceries and pretty much everything they are always open all the employees are happy smiling they have great selections of everything I love their meat department Their produce is generally good sometimes it's not greatest but 90% of the time it's really good but this is where I do all my grocery shopping I do wish they carried more types of dog food but overall this is definitely the place to go shopping.

Extreme Poor Customer Service. Asst Manager equally rude and have more excuses why their Isle was littered with empty boxes and cases not put away at 4am. I was yang carry to carry heavy juices down that Isle and was unable to. Mgr was full of excuses and even told me how many hours he works in a week. I said that wasn't relevant as a customer. I walked out of that store without spending .01 cent. I unturned got in my phone and purchased what I needed with a smile from AMAZON! Yes there is good service there at Amazon. No wonder more people shop in line instead of in person. Don't have to deal with those rude Winco employee(s).

Tried to shop for my thanksgiving dinner and one for a charity a Girl Scout sponsored one by the way and I walk up to the check out line and before I started putting my stuff on the belt the cashier was bitching and swearing about how coworkers didn’t do what she wanted then after I got up on the belt she told me she couldn’t give me the free turkey on both orders even though one clearly wasn’t for me it was going on the Girl Scout card. So please do go here they don’t believe in customer service and charity for those in need

Love Winco foods , everything I need usually, not always. Nice people, for the most part, close to home. Great prices.very convenient. The manager in the deli i do not know his name, but he has long hair . He is rude and takes the employee owned motto seriously, lol . Great store otherwise.

Everything you may need at a low price. A good, clean bulk section to choose from and excellent bakery dept. My favorite checker in all the land works there. She always makes me feel like things are going to be okay.

The amount of bulk food bins here is AMAZING! If you have a hankering for cashews but don't want a whole container, or you want a variety mix of snacks that you enjoy, grab a bag, choose your treaty treats, tie up the bag, and write down the number of the item on the tie. Bam! Plus, there are a lot of great prices here on many other things. Enjoy!

They have a great variety of products. I love their produce and meat departments. They have great options to buy in bulk and/or by the amount you want. I like to see what they have on their sale aisle. The prices are always right here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also always enjoy browsing their seasonal area. You can only use debit cards here. They also have a great bakery.

Honestly this is the place to go shopping for groceries, I used to shop at Smith's and Walmart(still do for some stuff) but grocery wise I go to WinCo because they just have better savings. I will say it is busy down there with all the other stores around it and parking can be very difficult at times but overall I will 90% of the time shop here.
