Worst experience ever. Only had a few items to pick up. Went through normal checkout. Clerk never said a word. My total was $22.07, I handed her a 20 and a five. She tried to give me my change back in all dimes, nickels and pennies. I refused. She said I would have to wait until she got some bills. Fine I will wait. It would have been fine if she would have call someone for change but she proceeded to check out the people behind me. I flagged down someone to get her change. It took a few more minutes. I was given 2 one dollar bills and had to ask for my receipt. I still had to ask for the rest of my change to which she responded that I said I did not want it. I just didn't want all that loose change. I still received dimes, nickel and pennies. How hard is it to see you need change in your cash register?

This is the best Walmart in the area. The store is almost always clean and free of distractions. There are plenty of employees walking around. I rarely even wait in line here if so maybe behind one person. They have so many self-checkouts that you can get out quickly. I'm very impressed that this store is so much cleaner and well-kept than other Walmarts in the area.Update February 2024: now that Walmart is reducing the amount shelf checkouts available, you get to enjoy standing in line again!

Why! Just why! Open enough registers. Hire and train enough competent people! It’s much too difficult and complicated to shop in your store. It’s a mess. You have rude employees. And your green lights apparently mean a register is closed. Opposite the whole rest of the world but hey, you’re Walmart.

The Wall Walmart doesn't answer phone calls. When I finally got a hold of someone, they put me on hold for an hour and never returned. I called again and was put on hold for 30 minutes. I was then told I couldn't cancel the order that I placed to another Walmart that arrived at that Walmart instead. I was then placed on hold for another 15 minutes before I hung up and called again. The employee was incredibly rude. Another Walmart told me I could just call and cancel it. The Wall walmart refused to let me. The employee ended up yelling at me over the phone and hanging up.

Ryan by housewares was so great to help me look for exactly what I needed. I appreciate the fact that he genuinely was interested in helping me and was so kind. The pharmacy staff is fantastic! I am there frequently and they take great care of me every time. They go above and beyond with my insurance. Love using the app for refills and keeping track of them.

I'm not impressed lately. Been going to this walmart for 6.5 years and it is going down hill fast. Lack of products they used to carry, empty shelves, old produce, This last visit I was only able to get 1/2 the list I had! What is going on? hundreds of apartments are going up all around it and the store is being managed very poorly! I had to move a prescription to someone who had it in stock because they were unable to get it for two weeks. I'm afraid I will have to move all my scripts. It seems like the store will be closing down.....The staff is nice.

I will no longer be shopping at my local Walmart. They disabled the self-checkout to the point where only if you download their app or if you are there for pickup only. Often understaffed and long line anyway as it is now they've even taken that away. I will happily be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

the cashier at the self-checkout was too busy on her phone to turn off the self checkout green light that was on four yards away when I told her that checkout was ribboned off and unavailable to customers..I then asked the person at customer service too please turn it off because it's making customers walk over there but it's unavailable to anyone... she said snidely and with an attitude yeah we can turn it off no problem and didn't make a move.. that's why I hate coming to this Walmart!!

This grocery store was one of the best in town.But lately. It's been a disaster.There's no more self-checkout for some strange reason?Now you have to wait in line at the regular cashier spot. Even if you only have two items! Be prepared to wait in line for 15 to 20 minutes!My personally advice! Just go to the next Walmart!The cashiers are mostly teenagers that don't want to work there or be there!There's never any ground beef! The customer service is awful!The stuff usually just keeps to themselves! An isolates themselves from everybody else. They don't ask you for any help!My opinion! If you don't want to work! get rid of them!The entrance to the parking lots have so many potholes! Walmart need to start investing in fixing half of this stuff!No one wants to get an alignment every time to get groceries.

Delivery and pickup are surprisingly bad, -1 stars. I had an order that was 5 days late, on day two of it being late I tried to cancel, which they refused. Instead on day five they tried to deliver and failed. I then needed to spend more time with customer service comparing a picture of a successful delivery with a failed one. This is the worst experience I had so far with this walmart, but its not the only bad experience i've had with them. They fail deliveries roughly every month or so, even after writing out directions. Pickup isn't aweful you wait about 20-30mins, so you at least get what you bought. Its a regular old Walmart in there, 3 stars. So overall 1/5 stars.

You’d think Walmart of all places would be able to handle a couple simple online orders. But I arrive for pickup (pickup lot is empty) and I’m told it’s about a 1.5 hour wait. This has happened to me many times across multiple Walmart locations. The incompetency really is surprising for a corporation as large as they are, especially since I was one of only 3 cars waiting. Oh, and to top it all off, I go inside to grab a drink while I waited, and what do you know? Almost all the self checkout lanes are closed. With very long lines. As a longtime customer of Walmart I’m just really disappointed with them lately!

This store used to be awesome, but then they spent all this money to put in self checkout registers, which probably increased our consumer costs, only to close them off in the last month and require everyone to go through the regular checkout now. Bravo

Theft problems or not, if you aren’t gonna use the self checkout machines, then get rid of them. Forcing all your customer to go through four registers in the middle of a Saturday is a damn joke. Either open more registers or train people to properly monitor the self checkouts to prevent theft. Punishing your customers by making them stand in longer lines is not the answer here.

Racism! Went to service money they can’t except my Alabama driver license because they said it cracked? Pff and I gave them my passport they said it not US citizens passport. I don’t use green card either because I’m not epanican! . I been here in US 13 yrs I work at customer service 5 yrs . I will never come here again .

Employees need training before putting on the floor in departments. The poor guy that helped us was so upset said it was his 3rd day and wasn't trained for the electronic department. None of it was his fault!!! He was very helpful and kept apologizing. We weren't upset at him just feel bad that he was so overwhelmed

The rudest self check out employee with long black hair. She refused to correct a price that was wrong. They had one person doing returns the day after Christmas. Horrible store, rude employees. Horrible experience. Going to another store is worth spending more money than to be treated like garbage by retail store workers, that work in a store.

I love the drive up delivery they offer. The prices are good. The app is easy, and deliveries and shipping are timely, usually arrive early. The notifications are great.

This specific walmart decided to close their self checkout lines. Ok, I can get behind that. If they have a high theft rate I understand. Well, the one line of self checkout machines, 4 to be exact, that were left open, for what I assume was for express checkout for those with a few items. Has now been closed to anyone who isn't a walmart + member. To make it worse, the cashier lines are long, and there is no express line, like how they used to have 10 items or fewer line. Why should I spend 60 dollars a year for a walmart + account? I pay Costco a membership fee because they offer bulk items for less. What the heck is Walmart + offering? To use self checkout, that's it? I'll keep Costco and my thrive memberships and just stop going to walmart altogether. Thrive price matches and has free shipping over 25. Walmart will definitely lose customers this way. Oh, and it's only the Ogden Walmart that is doing this. Riverdale still has all self checkout lines open, free for everyone to use. If I need something from Walmart I can go to Riverdale.

I pick up almost all of my Walmart orders at this location and in that aspect i am always very greatful... It helps me a lot.I have my orders delivered sometimes as well and they are always either early or right on time. They are careful with the order, for example my eggs are never broken and my bread isn't smashed lol... Very helpful 😃

Very clean and organized. It is not very big but I was able to find what I needed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming compared to other Walmarts that I have visited! There is some construction going on in the middle of the store but it did not affect me or those who were in the store.

I had one item and couldn’t use the self checkout because I don’t have Walmart+ what a joke Walmart stock gonna have a good quarter or two and crash.If you work here put it back on management it’s always a management issue at the end of the day regardless of what they say.

Much that I wanted was out of stock, then I waited 10 minutes in a self checkout line only to find out that those machines didn't take cash. I waited because they refuse to post signs notifying the customer that the machines only take cards. A complete lack of respect for those who buy their products.

This Walmart is going downhill. It's not the employees. They are always friendly and helpful. It's the inventory. They never have what I need and they are never fully stocked. I'd rather go to 20th but this is closer to my house if I need to grab something quick

I went to Walmart today at 20th to buy my groceries and noticed all the self checkouts are closed except one lane but it was so crowded so I just went to a normal register which was still crowded I get that if there closed. Is to reduce theft but that’s why there’s cameras plus associates looking at you. Walmart has to step there game I don’t like it being only registers every worker looked overwhelmed if it’s going to stay like this I will certainly stop shopping here and I can agree others will too !!

By FAR the worst Walmart we’ve ever been to. If you guys are gonna shut down 90% of the self check outs at least hire people with basic customer service skills. Staff is so rude and the store is an absolute mess. We will be using the Riverdale location 100% of the time now.

I used to love this store! Even worked at this location for a couple of years and the door people never treated people like I was treated today I understand when you show Receipts but this lady went over board she stopped me asked for receipt I pulled up my walmart pay one and she snatched the phone off my hand and said what is this copied or spark I looked at her and said no it’s Walmart pay!! She was done I tried grabbing my phone back and she pulled it off my hand!! When I go to Harrisville and riverdale I show them item by item with my phone on MY HAND and they never snatch it off my hand and acuse me of coping anything!
