The pharmacy is terrible, especially if you have to go inside. Also the staff in the pharmacy are very rude. Also they make up their own rules whether to give you your prescription (even when you have a legitimate doctor's written prescription!) How is that even possible? I couldn't believe that I couldn't have my prescription filled on a Saturday because the pharmacist took it upon himself to not fill my much needed prescription because it wasn't a weekday. Unbelievable I know, but true.I have now taken my business elsewhere.

My girlfriend gets her prescriptions filled here, so I've spent a lot of time in here. I always walk around while I'm waiting and check out all the interesting things for sale. The prices are fair and the service is always excellent. We have asked the pharmacist questions about meds and vitamins and always get great advice. They really listen and care about giving you the best information. You can also get your Covid-19 shot here too. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the selection isn't as good as other drug stores and I really hate making a left turn coming from the north on 12th street. The traffic is horrible in this section of Washington Blvd.

Is really sad to see, when the staff it doesn’t care, I got an injury verily walk, and drop some prescriptions to filled, said 30 mins, and also as for restroom that is close, asked for the key to opened and other staff member say is close and they can do nothing; right a few minutes like 9:02 with the gate still open said there are close, usually Walgreens notify by text or call that the prescription is ready, not in this case, Sad, the true is me going to bed without my medication,

If I could give this place 0 I would, rudest pharmaceutical staff I’ve ever had to deal with. The staff was mocking negative reviews in the back all while the lady helping me was screaming at me over lost coverage. Because nothing makes you feel better after you lose insurance like a woman yelling and demeaning you!

The pharmacy gets a call, picks it up but immediately places it on hold. It will start to ring again but rather than someone answering it, they pick it up and put it back on hold without saying anything. This is repeated continuously until either you hang up or they drop the call. I have nothing against the staff. They’re overworked and underpaid. However, Walgreen’s Corporation is obviously fine with receiving such low ratings because it’s been this way since they acquired Rite Aid several years ago and done nothing to improve.

I am google review the PHARMACY, and the PHARMACIST. I give them a Zero star. Was on hold for over 20 minutes to speak to the pharmacist, and when I finally did speak to her she was zero helpful and refused to look things up, and was argumentative in regards to me being on hold for so long, hello my phone tells me how long I have been on a call, and when I am listening to hold music, I'm pretty sure that means I am on hold!!. Don't argue with the customer, customer is always right.

Pharmacy is the literal worst. I had a script my doctor sent in on Wednesday, it said in progress online for the last few days, I called today (Saturday) and was told they’ve been out of that med since September? Yet the pharmacy couldn’t let me know on a day where my doctor could do something… like the day the script was sent in.Have filled my prescriptions at Walgreens my entire life but will definitely be getting my medications somewhere else from here forward.

I have monthly visit to the pharmacy to pick up my medicine. Usually takes 1/2 hour or so. Today I was told that it would be an hour or more. When I told the pharmacist that makes me late for work he started yelling at me that it would be over an hour and that is what it is.Fast forward to my next months prescription this time I was told two hours to have a script ready that was transmitted to them yesterday so I looked at other reviews and this the norm for this pharmacy next month it won’t be this pharmacyWhen I finally got my script 2 hrs later I brought the horrible reviews on google and the response was we are really busy so please go elsewhere

Worst pharmacy ever! I had 6 medications I wanted prices on. Walgreens would not quote a price until they filled them. My online pharmacy quoted the prices without filling them, so this is hard to believe. I explained it would cause a long wait for the long lines and that our would create more work for the pharmacy if they had to fill them, get a price, only to put them back if the prices were higher. She didn't care, despite the long lines and extremely slow service. Walgreens prices were much higher so I said I wouldn't be filling any of them and I asked them to release them so another pharmacy could fill them. It took them 2 weeks with many prompts to release them. By this time, I needed 1 prescription right away and didn't have time to wait for the mail order. So, my wonderful mail order pharmacy said they would call in enough for me to have until the mail order arrived (and they covered the cost). I called Walgreens and explained the plan. Walgreens called and said the prescription was ready. When i went in, they didn't hand it right. They had the 30 day supply at a charge. I had to prompt her to dig deep into the system to find the corrected notes. She did and said it would be 20 more minutes. After nearly an hour, with long lines, I became upset and she told me they were just working on mine. She came out with still the wrong order. Finally, they got it right. All in all, it took nearly 3 weeks just to get 10 pills from walgreens and the mail order came within 5 days. I will never use this pharmacy again at this location on 12th and Washington in Ogden. Ever. In my multiple visits during this fiasco, I saw and heard so many people get upset with the pharmacy malfunctions. Don't go here, especially if you need your medicine filled quickly and correctly.

I've reported them to the DEA. I suggest you do the same if you've had similar experiences. These people need to be stopped.-THE WALGREENS ON 12TH AND WASHINGTON IN OGDEN HAS SOME SHADY STUFF GOING ON. I'VE HAD 2 VALID PRESCRIPTIONS, FOR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES, DISAPPEAR INTO THIN AIR. I WAS TOLD THEY WERE EXPIRED, WHICH WASN'T TRUE, VERIFIED BY MY DOCTOR. WHEN I GOT BACK ON THE APP TO REQUEST THEM FILLED, THEY WERE GONE. WITHOUT EXPLANATION. I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO. THIS PHARMACYS REVIEWS ARE FULL OF THE SAME STORIES. NOT ONLY THAT, BUY THEY ARE CONDESCENDING AND JUDGEMENTAL AND ACTUALLY TELL YOU THAT YOU DON'T NEED THE PRESCRIPTION. WHY? THEIR OPINION SHOULDN'T TRUMP MY DOCTORS TREATMENT PLAN. THEY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED,, PLEASE. THEY ARE PLAYING WITH PEOPLES LIVES. THANK YOU.

If I could give less than one star, I would. This is by far the worst Walgreens and pharmacy I have been to. The customer service is nonexistent each and every time I’ve come here. They never have my prescriptions ready when I come to get them, usually they’re from instacare so I know they’ve been called in. On 6/20/2023 specifically, Ana the pharmacy tech was extremely rude. When asking to verify my address, I was trying to give it and she interrupted me. Overall her customer service was awful. Do better walgreens.

I made a vaccine appointment online. The vaccine counter was closed, so I waited in pharmacy line. They took my info. After all that, the days they were out of vaccine. All told, 45 minutes wasted. They should check if vaccine is available before taking appointments.On my way out, I stepped into an uncovered (except for the grass growing over it) sprinkler valve box. Could have easily been an injury.

Some of the pharmacy staff at this location need better training on the rules for picking up controlled substance prescriptions! The Utah Driver's License Division website says that you have six months to renew your driver's license once it expires, and that a license is still considered valid unless it's been expired for more than six months. About two weeks ago, I tried to pick up my prescription pain medication at the drive thru window, and the pharmacist refused to give it to me because my driver's license had expired two months prior. Despite the fact that the Driver's License Division says my DL is valid until the end of April 2023, I was forced to have my neighbor with an unexpired DL pick up my pain medication Rx for me! Absolutely ridiculous, and totally avoidable if the pharmacist had been properly trained.One other complaint about this Walgreens store. If you place an online order for curbside pickup, make sure you're not charged for out of stock items! Besides the fact that the employee who brought out my pickup order initially gave me only half of my order until I told him about the missing items, I was still charged for three 2 liters of soda pop and only received two. The employee assured me that I'd receive a refund for the out of stock soda, but four days later I haven't received a refund or any contact from Walgreens, despite the fact that I notified them of the missing item when I completed the online survey they emailed me & requested contact. Do better, Walgreens!

Great Walgreens. Super friendly and helpful staff. Probably the friendliest people in Utah. That's hard to come by in this state. Most people are unfriendly and would totally keep walking if you slipped and fell in front of them.

This location used to be top notch before the beginning of The pandemic. Since then, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. The pharmacy has become an absolute joke! It takes on average 36-48 hours for a typical rx refill, even a simple one that is already packaged and sealed by the manufacturer. The pharmacists usually always look busy and overworked, the techs look/act lost and have a hard time breaking away from their conversations with each other. I will never use the pharmacy again here and hope to never have a need to visit the store again. There seems to be a common theme with almost every employee in the entire store but I can’t seem to put my finger on it…

I've been going to this pharmacy for a couple year's, most of these bad review's are people who are full of themselves and don't understand what it's like serving people who are rude. These pharmacists try their best and are understaffed, so why are people blaming them for that? Yeah I've had issue's with them with my medication but it's a simple call to fix it, they're human too so treat them like it. Almost everyday there's a customer being irrationally angry and rude, these people give you your medication that you need, if they all quit then you'd apologize and beg them to come back. I appreciate everything they do, very respectful and patient, I know they try their best to get all the prescriptions ready and that's all that matters.

Definitely do NOT recommend this pharmacy at all. I was thinking to transfer my meds here but after waiting over 5 hours for 1 medicine of 7 pills to be filed, I’ve had it. I had to fight to get my meds done. The pharmacy was not helpful at all. Do not go here unless you want problems.

This review is for the pharmacy specifically:I have been a loyal customer since the staff worked at the Rite-Aid by 5 Points. Up until now I have only had minor issues with the pharmacy and they were a super friendly convenient pharmacy, especially the pharmacist! However, recently something changed! The staff are very difficult to work with to a dangerous level! On one occassion, I tried to fill a med and was told they would call my doctor TWICE to request the new prescription. After waiting through all of my emergency med supply, I called my doctor and both times they did not receive any word at all from the pharmacy so they sent it in for me. First time, Walgreens claimed to have it ready with an insurance issue. Never had a problem before with insurance. Second time, they had to order it in and it would take 5 days despite my being a regular and having already requested it twice and my being completely out. No emergency supply available. This is not all they have done, they also have repeatedly sent me messages that my meds were in but when I went in my meds were never there and I had to wait for them to get it ready or come back another day wasting gas. They also answer the phone and immediately hang up on me as soon as they pick up the phone even after I have to wait on hold for forever. I have to yell at the phone robot and it still rarely understands me and the app is incredibly confusing and sends incorrect messages. I was getting so many of these false messages on top of calls and voice-mail from their robot that I had to block their robot number and turn off notifications on the app. This is pretty sorry customer service, Walgreens! You have lost a loyal customer.

*Edit* I did my previous rating comment over a year ago and I decided to give them another go after all this time, which is a mistake I have to live with. The medications I have to get are really important to my quality of life, and they're not the kind that going without for a day doesn't have much consequence. In fact, the consequences can be quite severe. All day today they've told me that their systems are down, from this morning to when they closed an hour ago. Nothing was fixed and my medications could not be sent somewhere else due to the type they are. This is somethingthat Canyon View on 12th has NEVER had happen. On the one or two times their system has gone down there, it's been fixed within an hour. The incompetence of Walgreens is absurd. I know I'm not the only person who will have to deal with the strong ramifications that come from not having important medications. I knew I shouldn't have given them another try, especially with my reason for doing so just being due to the brand they used to get of one of my medications being preferable because their shape is far easier to break in half. The consequences I will be dealing with for my foolish decision may/will be astronomical. And there is absolutely nothing I can do. I hope these ratings help individuals choose to avoid the grief that Walgreens pharmacy creates. Canyon View pharmacy has better prices, customer service, wait times, and a better hold on their systems over all. They're not open Sundays, but everything else makes that not even a problem._________Honestly, they deserve a minus star but I cannot give that so I hope to help anyone else who wishes to have a better experience somewhere else not far from them. Aside from their staff being atrocious and often quite rude. I would advise that anyone who is actually wanting to receive their prescriptions on the proper date, at the proper time, to not go here. They are ridiculously incompetent and you will ABSOLUTELY lose time and sanity in your attempt to get your prescriptions. Canyon View on 12th is astronomically superior. They will have your prescription filled faster than you thought possible after seeing how the staff at Walgreens works. I only went back to them this last month because they were open later and that helped my scheduling. It was the utmost mistake. Truly the incompetence has left me nearly dropping my facade of getting along with useless "help". I cannot believe that their lack of order brought me to fighting off a panic attack from all the stress.

Worst, most incompetent pharmacy I've ever been to.In the past I've caught them stealing pills pills from my prescriptions.Today they just closed the drive through and left while people were in line waiting.They are also the slowest pharmacy you can go to in the city.Total joke.

Understaffed and disorganized. I scheduled a vax appointment and when I arrived was told they didn't have them and to "call back next week". Long story short, they did have them. I returned the next day 10 minutes before my new scheduled time and received it 40 minutes later. No wonder the CEO fell for Theranos. Avoid if possible.

This place isn’t even worthy of one star. There’s no reason why it should consistently take 30 minutes to 45 minutes to pick up a prescription through the drive-through. They are out of stock very often of medications I get every single month. I am looking to switch pharmacies to a locally owned one.Today: 50 minutes in the drive thru and there were only 2 others in front of me.If I ever call them (which I have to do monthly because of a few prescriptions that my doctor has to transmit and maintain on file) I know I’ll be on hold about 30 minutes. When I try to fill those through the app, they always say “There was an error. Please call the pharmacy.”Edit a month later: just as I do every month, I call the pharmacy and the pharmacist answers the phone. I tell her I need to fill my RX on file. She says “we don’t have one on file for this month”. I asked her “are you sure, because yesterday you all told me you had it on file.” She said “I’m sure”. Even though I see the RX on file in the app, she told me they don’t have it. I literally hung up and called right back 5 minutes later and got a technician. Guess what? Technician says “we’ll have it ready in a couple hours.”When I say this is the absolute worst pharmacy where people don’t give one iota, I am not kidding. I am going to try to update this review every time I have an issue. Google probably won’t allow that many characters in a review l though.

I love this location. It is generally well stocked, clean and has good employees. My fave is Bryan! He has a wonderful smile, great at knowing where items are in the store and professional friendly personality. Bryan is the type of employee that makes customers like me return to this location.

Severely understaffed in the pharmacy. The tech was flustered to the point of using an elevated tone with people telling them they won’t have their prescription filled for hours. I waited over 40 minutes after my appointment time for a flu shot.

This is a negative 5 star review since I've been having these problems for years now. Very very poor customer service for walgreens in general but especially this location. Not only that either, they have consistently been out of stock on just about everything and can't ever run my insurance properly. It's an argument every time i go there. This has been a problemfor a long time with walgreens

Quite possibly one of the slowest pharmacies in existence!! The store staff here is usually friendly and helpful, same with the pharmacy staff (if you can wait long enough!). For the life of me I cannot figure out how this pharmacy maintains so much clientele. It must be out of desperation that people, including myself, return to this location. The drive-thru is slow. Help at the counter inside the store is slow (again, friendly and helpful). Nothing here ever goes as fast as it should. I just spent nearly half an hour standing in a line with only three people ahead of me and only 1 pharmacy employee working the counter.

They almost never ask security questions when I pick up medications at this location and today I tried three different times to call the pharmacy with no luck. The first two times I hung up after about 20 minutes and the last time I called before 8 and was on hold until they closed. Nobody answered all three times. This location is a literal joke.

Rude employees. I was just going to get an energy drink and an employee was restocking the door I wanted. Very rudely told me to go round because he was "in this area" and wouldn't even let me walk past him to look at a different cooler. Such a rude tone I set down all of my items and left, can't support a store like this.
