The Pep Boys team was amazing, they really went above and beyond helping us out; the cost, the service, friendliness. We had alignment, tire issues, and they changed our a headlight bulb with minimal waiting, we have had excellent experiences in the past and they still make it happen today. UPDATE: ZERO STARS. Ever since having my car serviced here, specifically paying a lot for an oil change and waiting for several hours, I am now getting constant check oil lights, oil pressure warnings, and now there is an obvious oil leak under my car. So they either A) charged me for an oil change and never did it, b) Put dirty oil back into my car when they charged me for new, C) Caused damage to my vehicle and it is now leaking oil at an unsafe rate.Do not go here if you have even moderate time constraints. Appointments mean nothing. Corey was friendly and polite, but that is where service ended. I had booked an appointment online several days in advance for 10am. When I arrived I was told they didnt have the staff to service my car, and are not able to contact customers to inform them of this fact, but I could bring my car in two hours later and maybe they could see me. So I waited two hours, and came back, and they checked in my car for repairs at 12pm, saying the repairs would take an additional 2 hours. So I left, again, and waited for my car to be repaired. I came back at 2pm and sat in their waiting room, and after helping another customer Corey came over and said they were just finishing up my oil change and would do a quick test drive, it would just be a few more minutes. I sat in the waiting room for an additional 1 1/2 hours. The other customer without an appointment was checked in, had her car serviced and tires changed, and checked out in less time than I was waiting just in their lobby. Pep Boys also provided a link to track the progress of the repair, which was never updated until I had paid and already left. So no, you cannot track your progress. 3 1/2 hrs for a repair estimated at 2hrs, 5 1/2hrs after the start of my appointment time.

I will probably always take my car to this shop now. Corey was the person who helped me the most and he was great! Last Saturday my car started making bad noise. I took it to the tire chain where I got my tires because I had recently had them rotated. They told me the problem but told me it couldn't be fixed til Monday. I called pep boys because they were open later. They told me to bring it over. They are also open on Sunday so it was my best bet to get it done and get back home. I had it towed over that evening. The next day they called to let me know what they thought it was but did a full complementary inspection. It wasn't what the other shop said. They were thorough and kept me updated. They even stayed late to finish it. I was so grateful for all their hard work and how informative they were. I am so grateful to them for making a terrible situation a little better.

My wife brought in her vehicle to get her tires rotated and a oil change. I have been coming to pep boys for 20 years and now I'm not going to go here anymore. My wife ask them to look at her brakes while they had the tires off for rotation. She was told that she needed new brakes on the back and rotars that it would cost $600 dollars. I brought the vehicle to my own mechanic and when he looked at them he said there fine still has 70% life on all of them. This is very shady work to me be truthful and up front. Very upset most likely never go back to pep boys again. Cost me money and time. Had to pay my guy for his trouble and time. Next time be correct about stuff you tell customers don't lie. Very concerned customer.

I had an issue involving a third party warranty and needed work done on my car. Cory was helpful and professional throughout the process. In the end, they weren't able to perform the work on my car, but they helped me get approval to take it to a dealership that could. I appreciate the help and professionalism Cory showed through the process.

I had an 8am appointment. Manager had my appointment up and ready, was welcoming and knew my name from the appointment screen. Team here was Knowledgeable & also efficient. I was in for a simple tire balance; they noticed my front brakes were below the safety thickness. They replaced my brakes and had me back on the road before 10 am. Thanks for an easy Saturday morning. Would definitely recommend this location!

Such a shame, this place can never seem to pull itself together. From charging us for something without our consent, to not having “anyone to help or the tools” to do the job (basic tire rotation) for my SCHEDULED appointment. Don’t go here. Just don’t, you will regret every interaction you have. We got tires at a good deal, but they have only lasted 1-2 years at a time, and they find every loophole to not honor their “warranty”. Terrible service, NOT WORTH IT.

My daughters and I were traveling through and had our alternator go out. I went online and was able to make an appointment for the next day at 11am. I called as soon as they opened at 9 to confirm they could do that work and an estimate of time. I was told no problem and it would be about 2 hours. Once we arrived at 11 I was told they were down a tech and it would now take more like 3 to 4 hours. I said that’s fine and we walked around the area trying to kill time till our car was done. 4 hours later, I had to call them because I still had not heard anything and was told they hadn’t even started working on it yet. I reminded them we were not from there, had nowhere else to go and no other transportation options, and kept getting told I was a priority and they would get to it. I could not get a clear estimate on when the car would be done. It ended up taking 10 hours till the car was done…… It was 9pm at night. After wandering around for 5 hours, we then ended up waiting in the pep boys waiting room for 5 hours. There was no comfortable place to sit and the restroom had no toilet paper. I still cannot understand, why we had an appointment at 11and they didn’t even START working on the car until after 7pm….. it was beyond frustrating and infuriating. This was my first time going to a Pep Boys and I will NEVER use them again, even in an emergency. If they had been upfront and given me a clear expectation of the timeline they were looking at, I could have made other arrangements, but no one could do that.

The best service I've had from someone who couldn't help me.Long story short, I blew a trailer tire on my way down I-15. Stopped in here because it was the only place open on a Sunday. The manager, Sage, apologetically told me where I could find the tires that they didn't have in stock, allowed me to park my trailer in their lot while I went to get them, and finally offered to help me change it when I returned. When I tried to get him to take some money from me for the use of their lot, or at least a rental fee for the tool he let me borrow, he refused it.

We bought 4 tires to be exact, and they did not change the valves on the tires, we had to go again, to have them replaced, that is, new tires and old valves, bad work, and they still hide behind the fact that if they were damaged it would be a cost of $100 dollars. They don't accept their bad work.. very bad service.

Pep Boys took care of me. I took my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation and because of their complimentary multipoint inspection they identified significant issues that were in need of address. They provided evidence of the wear, explained the work required, and provided an estimate up front of the costs. They kept to their estimate and performed their work in an acceptable timeframe given their workload. Thank you Pep Boys.

Most awful experience I've ever had in any sort of auto shop.I scheduled a simple oil change appointment first thing in the morning, just before work since, hey, it should be a simple oil change, right? Wrong. The guy working saw a young white woman and made it his mission to swindle me. In the course of the THREE hours, I was pushed to spend my money on every single thing he could possibly think of, only to condescendingly explain how to keep track of all my maintenance (under the assumption that I don't, which I very much do--i'm no stranger to car problems and I'm older than I look).I wasn't going to write a review at all, because while I hated the used car salesman routine I was used to it and while it took 3 hours, he'd managed to con me into extra maintenence so that's on me right (ignoring the fact that I was the only customer in the shop that morning)? But when I looked at my receipt, I found a warranty added onto the tires that I did not approve that cost me extra PER TIRE.This is just swindling through and through with slow service on top. Waste of my time and money. You should save yours by going literally anywhere else.

These boys are so silly!! I went in there just to see how honest they would be as my car was in mint condition and they tried to charge me 1700 for a cabin air filter and power steering fluid pump when the power steering fluid pump was just changed and they had me wait 3 hours. Dishonest mechanics who are just money driven and if they think you look like you don’t know anything about cars they will take advantage of you like dogs salivating when it’s time to eat HAHAHA honestly a joke of a shop

Never take your vehicle here!!! took them my truck last year to get a diagnostic test. Was told it's my catalyst paid for it to get fixed picked up my truck 2 hrs later when I was told it's a 5 hr job. No check engine light then 2 months later light came back on. Took it back read same code for catalyst that they Supposably fixed . New manager took a look and found out it was never fixed and not in there system. They are liers and like to rip people off they refixed my truck few days ago and check engine light turned back on same day! Haha they are all horrible and need to close down there business down! Called corporate twice agent started to be rude until we go upset back . Bad bad service

Purchased new tires, leak that could not be repaired. Lack of customer service and unhappy employees. I had used them in the past but they have lost another customer. Also, when I purchased the tires I was there for over 5 hours because employees left. They also could not find the leak so I took it in to another shop and they immediately found the leak.

EDIT: I WAS JUST CHARGED THE FEMALE TAX! THEY UPCHARGED ME CAUSE I'M A GIRL AND DON'T KNOW BETTER!!This store has taken a NOSEDIVE since I first reviewed 2 years ago. And I'm not talking about the fact that the manager litteral broke my car so bad, my insurance deemed it "undriveable due to safety risks." Never took responsibility or offered a discount on my booked services due to his negligence or nothing. Then I find out he over charged me simply due to the fact that my reproductive organs exist on the inside and not the outside!This USED to be my go to oil and tire shop, but not anymore. First, I booked my appt online with a coupon. Not only did they take walkins that checked in after I had before they got to me, they didn't even bring my car around until I'd been waiting, on lunch break, for over an hour. All told, I spent 2 hours with a confirmed appointment just waiting there for service.Second, the conventional oil change I booked and confirmed with the shop when checking in is NOT what they did for me. They gave me a synthetic oil change, which *checks notes* is significantly more expensive, obviously!Third, they did not honor the booked discount, and the store manager literally shrugged when I asked him to fix it, stating, "I don't know what you want me to do." I only found out they upcoded/upcharged my oil change after reviewing my invoice after I left the shop! The manager never gave me the price at the end of service, never went over the other things I requested be done never said anything except "sign here and insert your card." It's a huge red flag when a mechanic is in a hurry to get your to pay and leave; it usually means they're hiding something. Guess what? THEY WERE! I missed it at the time, but NEVER AGAIN! I was over charged $45! Why do I even go here still, I will never know. AVOID AT ALL COSTS OR YOU WILL PAY FOR IT!Original post from 2 years ago:Love these guys! They don't arbitrarily up sell you or try to get you on something cause you don't know cars. They are friendly and even remember their customer's names. Repeat customer and not planning to stop soon.

Poor customer service. Didn't actually have the tires they said they had. Was not contacted in regard to them not having the right tires until the service was supposed to have been completed. Took 6 hours to complete service when it was supposed to have taken 2. Took 30 minutes to complete check out. Associate took multiple personal calls while trying to complete check out. Also associate couldn't figure out how to complete check out and stopped to assist a family member before completely checkout.

Guy behind the counter was incredibly rude! Head down, rolling eyes, short. I finally said “you ok?” He came back saying we need brakes and rotors on both front and back but I had no desire to give him our business. Guy who took wheels off was kind however.
