Daniella takes such great care of or girls when we bring them in for grooming.. my girls get so excited when we pull up to drop them off.The also take such good care of them when we board them there.. Idlewire has been amazing for our girls! We have been to a couple of different groomers in our lifetime and nobody has come close to Idlewire. They have the best people there. They care, and treat your pets like if it was their very own and me and my wife both respect that a lot. We have one of our Saint Bernards that is very skittish with certain people that she doesn’t recognize and whenever she comes here, she behaves and is pretty calm with them all. That tells me and my wife that they are gentle with her, and are patient with her. We love the report cards we get back for them. Tells you what you need to try and work on with them, weather it’s more combing or cleaning their ears better and suggests when they should be back. We’ve been bringing both of our Saint Bernards here for a few years now, and they have not let us down. We didn’t get their report card this last trip we just made, which was a bummer. It will normally have the groomers name and everything you need to know, so we won’t be able to list her name on here. Besides that, they were groomed beautiful as always. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Thank you to all of your amazing staff, and kindness you treat our girls.

I honestly cannot find the words to describe the heartbreak our family is feeling today!! We have taken our Newfie Sam to Idlewire for the last few years and then yesterday everything went very wrong. We dropped him off in the morning and he was a happy pup running around our house. We got a text just after 4 saying he’s doing good and ready to come home. Just a few mins later got another call he was having trouble breathing. My adult boys went to pick him up and he was just limp on the floor surrounded by employees and fans. His hair hadn’t been cut. We rushed him to the animal ER where they took his temperature and it was over 108. His organs were shutting down. The vet said that Sam had to have been in extreme heat throughout the day. I’m so outraged and so hurt!! There is an animal hospital right next door. They knew something was wrong and did nothing!! Our family is now missing a big piece of our heart, because something went wrong. We dropped off our sweet boy and picked up a dying dog. His eyes were bloodshot and gums were bright red. No one should have to experience this.Reading your response just makes us more upset!! I can post the payment our adult children made for a full cut!! I can also post the voicemail your staff left just after 4 pm saying he was doing great and ready to be picked up! I just spoke with my husband and your claims are false!! Sam didn’t pass away from a breathing problem. He passed away from heat stroke. A body temp of over 108 after being cooled! We will find out what happened. I requested your liability policy. No response. You have given us no choice but to get authorities involved. We dropped off a happy dog that was chasing our husky around the house the morning we brought him and picked up a dog that was barely alive. The animal ER has also noted this. You need to accept you were negligent. What happened at Idlewore ended Sams life! If it was truly a little trim you would not need to keep him for 6-7 hours. His hair was almost exactly the same as when we dropped him off. If you guys had any decency you would have picked up the phone and made the call to his vet right next door! We are required to give you their records. You knew and yet did nothing. This caused his death. I will post the voicemail, the payment, our appt reminder so that people know what happened.

We just tried this place when we moved to Ogden. And we have to say this place is FANTASTIC! What kind people, we are nervous dog parents and were sad to leave our fur child. But these guys updated us every time we called ensuring that we felt better about her being in boarding. When we picked her up she was a happy camper! No issues, she smelled nice and was in very good spirits. We know these guys loved on her and kept her happy while we were away! 10/10 experience from us and we (Nova girl) will be coming back to them and them alone!! Thanks so much guys for loving our little lady like we do!

Johnny always enjoys his time at Idlewire. I love receiving the report cards at the end of a stay. It has always been a good experience dropping him off. He walks away wagging his tail, I know he is going to be treated with the best care.

I just picked my dog up from his grooming appointment. It was his first time ever being professionally groomed. He has a very short coat so only needed a bath and nail trim. Shelly was great and said he did well. I love that she looked closely at his nails and, seeing that he has long quicks, made the call to grind hisnails instead of clip them. Everyone there was kind, helpful, and professional. They did a great job!

Dixie LOVES going to Idlewire! She truly gets excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The facilities are clean and do not smell like most groomers/boarders. I appreciate the option to leave my dog all day while I’m at work for her grooming and not have to worry about rushing to get my dog immediately after she’s finished. The groomers are attentive to detail, provide a written overview of the grooming and their perception of the dogs needs or issues. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IDLEWIRE!

Just moved to the area and have taken my pug there twice. They were 5 stars both times really good with her! Thank you the staff there for what they do! They've done her nails, and anal glands. We have an appointment to go do a bath, nails, and anal glands in 3 weeks. She really likes the ladies there!

They know us by name which is comforting when dropping off our white lab , they are willing to do last minute accommodations if they can and open to changes within reasonable timing. Update , yesterday they groomed him (de-shed) so well … no hair fluffed off him . Amazing job thx guys !! He misses his friends at daycare 🤪

They were so accommodating to get our Wonton in for the day at the last minute while we were visiting from out of town to go to Lagoon. They let us have his vaccination records emailed from our home vet since we hadn't brought our records with us. Wonton is a very social, loud, high-energy large puppy. They took such great care of him; he was tuckered out when we picked him up from all the fun he had. They fed him and only had good things to say when we picked him up. We were pleasantly shocked at the afordable cost. He's gotten kennel cough from a previous daycare but has been perfectly healthy after his day at Idlewire. We'd recommend them a thousand times over.

Our puppy needed a daycare so we could run errands today and not have to leave her alone at home and this place is amazing. I'm super thankful that we found this place so our pup is safe and also getting the socialization she needs as a lil husky. ☺️♥️

The same lady has been grooming my dog for a couple years and she always does a great job. The staff is so friendly and they’re really good about not letting my dog be too weight bearing on his back legs since he’s old with knee issues!
