This Family Dollar is a prime example why anyone who continues to shop here doesn’t respect and have dignity for themselves. First of all the management who runs the store had refused to fix air conditioning and employees and customers who come in are sweltering. Also, store had kick me out just for taking a picture of something and tries to get hostile towards customers if they explain something.Family dollar stores in multiple states have too had employees working without air conditioning in sweltering 100+ degree heat and not being attentive to it. Their behavior at this location and others proves that if they can treat their employees with disrespect, they easily can do it with customers. Don’t give these low down dirty shame folks your hard earned money

This Family Dollar one of my favorite locations. You never know what cashier you're gonna get. Turnover is off the charts. However; No matter who it be or how new, they're very Polite and Customer Service trained well. Also no matter if they are understaffed, which they are always, their employees work very hard & Give it 100%, no matter the conditions. It's a Pleasant, chaotic and Stuffy environment and understaffed, but despite all that! Great Customer Service. Reason a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ are valid, to me.

worest family dollar ever. I ordered online and received email saying it is delivered to the store. Yet, when we picking up the order, people there says they have not received it and ask me to wait for a few days. The next week I visited, they still say they haven’t received it. I ask if they could help in contact someone to see where is the order, rejected. I asked if I could cancel the order, rejected again. The only method left with me is to dispute the transaction with my credit card. Such a hassle, not worth the time waiting and the efforts visiting the store again and again. BTW, the person there is rude.

The Family Dollar store located on 25th and Monroe is a disaster. The store is not clean or organized. Their shelves are pretty much empty thus making it very difficult to find most items needed. There is always one cashier regardless of how many people are in line. If someone they are familiar with comes through, the cashiers will waste the other customer's time chatting with the person or persons they know. Completely unprofessional. Store needs a lot of changes!

I went to Family Dollar to get some last minute things for Mother's Day and the doors were locked. It was 8:50pm. There was a female employee behind the register, a man, a woman, and 3 little kids that were obviously NOT employees were near the checkout talking to the female employee. When I knocked on the door, the man told me through the glass that they were closed. I asked why since that Family Dollar didn't close till 10pm and he said they were closed early just because. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this Family Dollar. Unprofessional and ghetto as hell.

Some of their cashiers are awesome, shout out to Jessica and Scott. But I have had nothing but problems at this location with the coupon app. Previously the cashier was able to help. This time the cashier had no idea what to do and would not listen when I explained what we did last time. She screwed it up. I didn't have patience this time and cancelled my sale. It was only $50 dollars. I don't blame the clerk but the manager, Shari. I am unsure if I will continue to shop there or not .

Update: Buyer Beware! this store has innacurate prices listed, and when you tell them the price is marked different they argue to fix it. You have to demand that by law if it says a price they have to uphold it. Even with that, they still give you problems.This store is closing early and at random times. Rarely have items priced accurately. There is no air conditioning and the management in charge of fixing things refuses to do so, as I've been told by employees. Employees are nice and friendly, helpful, but its small comfort when they aren't open at listed times. People are also stealing their carts constantly.

I didn't give it 5 stars because it didn't have some of the things I needed that it did sell. The clerks are friendly except one...he is a complete prat. But the merchandise is cheap. Both in price and in quality. I gave it the full 4 stars because if you shop here, you know you are buying temporary items. Their merchandise is not built to last and it is not meant to last. You should know this at the outset. They deliver as promised. So it is a good place to shop keeping that in mind.

I was admittedly in a VERY bad mood from forgetting a 52-character long password and I was out of cigarettes. Regardless of seeing that, the cashier was professional, stood her ground on rules for the store regarding letting me use a lighter temporarily. She seriously deserves a raise or a promotion for dealing with me in an absolutely rotten mood.Good job sweetie! ;)

So I'm old. Old enough to purchase tobacco products but had left my id at home. I attempted to purchase a pack of cigarettes and was denied even though I had purchased there before and was sold by the same cashier. Today the lady in front of me was not even asked for an id.I feel that I should have been treated like a valued customer as I am. My gray hair should have been id enough. But whatever.

The Family Dollar was and is GREAT! I had a problem with my credit card and they are holding my potential purchases until I can get it ironed out. Helpful, bright staff. Awesome selection. Got the other dollar stores beat by a mile!

I only ever shopped here twice, and now I have random charges popping up on my card with no explanation stating that the payments are going to this company.When I called to talk to them about it, the phones went straight to voicemail, when I know for a damn fact, those phones in there are never ringing.I will not be shopping here any more, and, I hope you all won’t either.If you do, use cash so they can’t scam your card.

I live only a few blocks away so it's convenient but not always reasonable prices. Workers there have always been extremely rude even though I used to go there often. Once I was carrying a small backpack which I carried everywhere especially when walking somewhere.it was my purse. It contained my wallet and other personal items that I had with me always. they told me I couldn't enter the store unless I left it outside or in front of thestore.(right by the front door) and when I asked who would be watching my purse while they're watching me shop they said again..leave it or you can't come in.well, since I had walked from my home I couldn't really just put it in my car and after that,forget it anyway. I went home and didn't go back. They were basically telling me they thought I'd fill my purse with merchandise. If I were Planning ahead for the walk home, I would have brought a bigger bag since theirs arecheap and paper thin.they rip before you can even get out of the parking lot but don't ask for another if you don't want to be treated like a low life for doing so. Maybe they're bitchy because it's a thousand degrees in the there year round but customers have to stand in long lines in the same temperatures and you'll never see any of them do anything extra like..smile or tell you have a nice day..even if you say it first. They're kind of one of the only stores around and they just don't care. They all seem to hate their jobs.

I would give no stars if it were an option. The store is always messy, they always have bare shelves and boxes in the aisles. Not enough workers there always seems to be one person taking care of the whole store when I go in there. They need to hire stockers but yet have a post on their FB page about hiring managers makes no sense. If I drove I wouldn't shop here but since I don't drive and it's only a few blocks away from where I live somtimes I have no choice. I'm sorry they got rid of Rite aid I used to prefer to shop there. I miss Rite Aid. Family Dollar has gone downhill ever since they rearranged it

This place, the products, the prices, and the service are all trash. I keep coming back only because it's convenient.Update: Somehow worse! They don't even have multiple checkstands any more, and they've done a huge reorganization (read: storing air fresheners with the cereal, socks with deodorant) so the few times you can get someone's attention they don't know what you're talking about.

There's no air conditioning in the store, it's a huge mess it was hard to get through the eisle. No carts because they're be used in the store for stocking the shelves, and forget trying to get to the shelves. The clerk left a security tag on a pair of leggings, which I'm not too mad about since it was 90 degrees In the store. But, I need to go back to that hot mess and have the tag removed that was on a $6 pair of leggings!

It’s become a complete mess, organization doesn’t exist, you can barely move between isles yet alone socially distance or find the items they used to carry once upon a time. Most is the staff are either rude or totally disinterested in attending to the needs of shoppers who are unable to locate what they came to the store for in the first place. Also there never seems to be more than 1 associate on the registers while any others are standing around acting like they don’t see the line growing or the frustration of customers and the one on register rising. I know I have not shopped there in about a year unless I had no other option and regretted it the moment I stepped into the store. And customers, stop opening food/drinks/ items consuming/stealing them, leaving the trash from your theft littering the shelves and floors and thinking you’ve done nothing wrong. Theft is theft and increases the cost for those who obey the law. And parents control your litter of disrespectful spoiled over sugared and under stimulated temper tantrum throwing out of control monsters. It’s not my job to watch out for them when I’m not the adult in charge of them. I don’t feel sorry if one gets a nasty look, low chest growl, or should feel a wheel roll over their foot bump their legs or catch a finger or other body parts as they roll around the floors and run like idiots screaming through the store while you look the other way or scream back at them but not correcting their behavior.

The employees have always been nice and the store is fairly clean but very cramped. They have a decent selection of food, toiletries, and clothes. Definitely a place to stop if you need something quick.

A little disappointed I couldn't bring my bike inside for safe keeping but I do understand the reasons. It's a normal family dollar. A bit cluttered but if you need something small, they usually have it.

The staff at this place is a joke, it's dirty and the seems to be more interested in flirting and gossiping than attending to customers or better yet cleaning. The cake was frosted when management cannot operate correctly the card pay system, in conclusion the approx 20.00 that was stolen off my card ( by a male cashier) was mysteriously unrecoverable. They SUCKED. The person in charge was gabbing to a friend, meanwhile the line was way backed up. The other worker was busting his butt to get people checked out. I had said something because the line was way backed up and she should have waited to talk to her friend and took care of business. Instead she says some smart assed comment as to "well tomorrow the assistant manager will be in, you can voice youre complaint to him." I said, "BET... IM CALLING CORPORATE!" Stupid girl. DO YOURE JOB!!!

If I could leave 0 starts I would WORST family dollar. Every time I have been in that store it’s gross super dirty and the cosmetic shelves are empty and there is stuff thrown everywhere on the shelves the guy that was there was super rude I waited to ask him something and he seemed bothered and got in his phone and told me to hold on. This store is ridiculous I will never go back to this store again

The store was filthy. There 19 people waiting at the checkout, and only one very slow checker. Well, technically there were three, but the other two were too busy gossiping behind the counter.I left without buying anything.

I gave them 3 stars because they never have a lot of things in stock and although some people are professional some of them are rude and don't display good customer service. I only shop here because it's close to the house.
