We bring our dogs here for grooming. Shannon and all the ladies here are absolutely fantastic! They are able to work with your dog through the full process to gain trust and cooperation from your dog.My dogs love these ladies!Highly recommend going here.In the past places for example -PetSmart groomers couldn't trim my dogs nails because the dogs were "too wiggly", then charged me for it anyway. Without any info on how to move forward about it.At Don's pet care the groomers work with you and your dog to get through tough moments. They provide suggestions for what you can do at home to help too. They don't give up on your dog due to fear or wiggles.

I took my Lucy in ungroomed and looking like a neglected child, when she came back to me she looked like a completely different dog. They did everything I asked them to do, they left her coat long, even and blown out. She was happy and knew she looked awesome! Everyone that helped me was so professional,they showed me how to brush her and booked us for 3 more appointments @ my request. The price was very reasonable, I will be recommending them to everyone I know.THANKS DON'S PET CARE!!!!!

This is a great family run business, that has been a staple of the Ogden area for generations.We have taken three German shepherds throughout the years to Don's. There is nobody better in my opinion in the state of Utah. They are extremely knowledgeable in all types of breeds of dogs.

We boarded our two dogs here for two weeks while we where in Korea it was great for our dogs. The employees spent a bunch of time with our dogs (just playing with them and carrying for them).My female dog had a really hard time with strangers, boarding here for two weeks really helped socializing her

My pug graduated the first of the training classes. I loved Donna and her sister. The tips they gave me to teach my dog to calm down really helped, especially around my toddler. I will definitely be going to the intermediate class. Keep it up ladies!!

I signed my puppy up for puppy training class. So happy I did and gave her the proper training needed for both her and I to enjoy our new relationship together. Don's training class gave me great knowledge on how to handle her and deal with other dogs in a public setting. They teach the dog to respect their owner and listen to commands. Tough love sometimes, but worth it in the end. Highly recommend Donna's puppy class. Money and time well spent.

I have had 2 dogs in their 8 week puppy class. One was 5 years ago and 1 just finished the class last night. Dona and Susan are great . They understand the behavior and needs of every kind of dog , no matter what breed. They can answer any question you can think of about your dog. They have helped up so much in understanding the way our dog thinks and how to communicate with our dog. I would recommend them to everyone with a puppy. Donna Atkin and Waylon think they are great.

We had never used a kennel before, and my friend has trusted Don’s Pet care for years with her dog. So when we had to be gone for a week, we scheduled. my daughter cried as we left the dogs. Great place to take your dog for a multitude of reasons. They offer boarding, training, and grooming (I’m sure there is more but those are the services we have used) the dog training is top notch and when you want to go more in-depth with training you can opt for the speaking k9 program that Lindsey offers. The grooming is great too! They took all our considerations into account to make our pup look handsome and fresh! I would recommend calling and asking about all their services!

Love Don's Pet Care. They've always taken excellent care of the animals staying with them. They do great grooming. And, their trainers have close to a century of combined experience with all kinds of dogs. I've dealt with Don's closely for most of my life. I know personally the people who own and operate the facility, and I would put my trust in them without hesitation.

Growing up my Dad had labs but they were always outaide dogs. When we got our family dog it was going to be a inside dog a d for years i was hesitant as i have seen how dogs tear stuff up and all the hair.We ended up getting a Shih/poo in 2014. We took her to Don's training because it had been recommended. I was impressed with the training we as owners received to better understand out dog and the effort they took with the dogs. Any future dogs we get will be going to Don's.

I took my puppy here for training and did not like their methods. I saw so many good reviews. I wish someone would've told me that they use a lot of negative reinforcement. and fear-based training. My dog hated going to training and he was clearly fearful of the trainers. They were also very unprofessional and were quite rude to the dog owners. Since coming here, I have learned that my groomer and vet does not recommend them, especially for sensitive dogs.

The people that work there are increadiable. We used them years ago when we had our chow. We have not had a fur baby that required grooming or sitting until now. We took our new fur baby (Maltipoo)to get groomed. She has never been away from us and I was so concerned that she would be afraid and nervous. Not the case at all. Shannon took her from me and she immediately started loving on our little girl. I sent a text to check on our furbaby and they said she was doing great. Giving kisses and very calm. The people at Don's are so wonderful, loving g and caring as if it was their own fur baby. Thanks Don's💗💗💗

I took my puppy here for the training classes, AMAZING! The trainers REALLY know what they are doing! Not only does your dog learn essential skills (sit, stay, come, and more) but your dog learns to do it with 20 other dogs in the room! This is my second dog that I’ve trained and she is SO much more responsive to my commands than my first that did not come to the Puppy class at Don’s.Don’t get scared off that I said there are 20 other dogs in the class. I felt like I got as much personal help in my training as I needed. The staff let’s you call any time and to come a little early and stay a little late with questions!I would highly recommend the Puppy class to anyone, no matter the dog breed even!

**!DONT COME HERE!**I went here about 5 years ago with my dog Miya, (Cocker spanial mix). Don was our instructor for puppy class 101. My dog was really reluctant to walk and always followed behind me. She told me multiple times to *STARVE* MY DOG AND HAVE HER COME HUNGRY. I was told to not give her food for 24 hours so she would walk in a better heal with food. Now becoming my own professional service dog trainer/ high obedience trainer for working line malinois I have quickly learned that making a dog starve will not get them to heal it only shuts them down and throwing a FREAKING CHAIN AT MY DOG FOR BARKING FOR ME NOT GIVING HER FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY AND UNACCEPTABLE! I will never go here again. I mean look at the reviews! So many people are unhappy with the customer service and the way this company treats there customers dogs. I will never recommend this to a friend or family member. This company has lost my respect! FYI CHOCKING A PUPPY OUT TO MAKE IT SIT IS *ABUSIVE*
