This place is a trip. A literal trip, sure, but also a strange, otherworldly experience. You never know what you're going to find, but usually a really good deal or two is in there among the junk. Shop around; some things are going to be overpriced, but often you can find an amazing bargain. Employees are always helpful and patient (especially with all the things they have to sort and count out at the register - I would have gone nuts long ago). The store itself is a little grungy, but I like to think that's because they want to "pass on the savings" to the customers. Who has the money to renovate?

Pretty neat. It has a large variety of stuff, but it honestly requires a lot of luck to find something really good at a really cheap price. It seems like the vast majority is just mediocre at a slightly lower price, but honestly that's ok, that's what the store is. I'd say it's worth a visit as long as you have your expectations in check.

This place is so fun. But you need to know your prices. Sure things are at amazing deals and others are cheaper at other stores. Food is near sell by date, which is important for grocery store shelving, but it does not necessarily mean the food itself is expired. Don't let that deter you. There are great finds of even expired foods past the sell by date. I have only had one incident with a plant base chip that was rancid, and returned it! So I recommended staying away from plant based dry goods. I've purchased frozen meats, pizzas, yogurt, creamer, name brand baked chips and cookies all fantastic. The donuts and pastries can get a bit stale, so I don't buy those. But the soda and sparkling waters are at unbeatable prices. I visit two of their locations almost every week and rarely leave empty handed. I bought a Gourmia Grill for just $29.85 and I use it all the time. Great place and great fun.

I love perusing the ever-changing inventory at the BDO outlet. I've found some really great deals on things my family regularly uses - from clothing, to decor, to groceries, I always find a great deal at the BDO.

Pretty great place to find some hidden treasures or just bargain shop if you're looking to stay on a budget. The food items are definitely questionable as the date of expiry on most items is already past. However, as most of us should know, expiry doesn't mean "bad" it just means not fresh, so pick and choose food at your peril. The clothing and shoes are usually a bit lower/basic quality and they usually get overstock/returns from the local target so the furnitures/decor they have is usually pretty cool give or take a few scratches. Good example of a treasure buy I got there is a THICK winter jacket. Amazing jacket that's normally upwards of $70 at Target. I got it there for $20. Mind you, the zipper has NEVER worked on it. So again, you can find some good stuff, but it's there for a reason. So just be warned.

As well organized as this store is compared to the Layton location the customer service here is lacking. Our cashier (MARIAHO) threw our items in the bags and dryly told us to take our bags as she needed the space. Even after she robotically offered zero customer service and demanded that I put the item I changed my mind about in a basket to which she gave a nod to, we still thanked her to which she responded with asking someone if she could use the bathroom after she was through and then immediately walked away.

You really have to look carefully, but you can always find something great here they had Pokémon balls with little Pokémon inside, bought a bunch, and added them to the family Easter egg hunt they got my older grandson that thinks he's to old for things to participate it was great great pricing on certain things always check the dates on food products but for the most part it's a great little piece and the bathroom is always clean

My wife and I went just to see if Big Deal Oulet had items to furnish an apartment kitchen. We found almost everything we needed. We will be shopping there more often!!

I love big deal outlet! They have several discounted items and I almost always end up buying at least one thing here. A lot of the home stuff could be cheaper (in my opinion), but there are some good finds in the clothing and food sections! They also have discounted name brand clothes and a lot of kids target clothes usually. Their shoes are also very well priced! Staff is always nice. Highly recommend.

Great discount store! You always find some good deals, though it's not always the same thing. It's organized very well, is very clean, and the workers there are very pleasant. They usually have great deals on small appliances (like air fryers), hair products, and food items. We can get cereal boxes under $2, that are not out of date.

Very fun store, but the peeling carpet at the entrance is a major tripping hazard and a death trap for the elderly. It needs fixing ASAP.Update:I increased the rating in response to the reply from management

There are great deals to find, but know your prices so you don't end up paying full price for food past its best buy date. Always check the dates on food items. Takes a lot of time and patience to shop here, but i find its worth it. Well organized and cleanHappy hunting!

This site is amazing. I'm not just saying that because I work there, it literally has some of the most amazing stock at some very good prices. I have four girls so as you can imagine, school shopping was rough this year, but it wasn't as bad as I thought by getting things through BDO.Add an employee, they are amazing people, they work with me when things come up with my girls, this company is the best I have worked with. 🤗🤗

I've seen ads for BDO for quite a while, but I'm rarely in Ogden. Happened to be nearby last weekend and decided to check it out. Lots of cool finds. And prices were amazing! A little disorganized, but I expect that in this type of place. Customers tend to shuffle everything around. I will be going back.

Changing the name feels like hiding the increase of the prices. You need to know that if you don't read the label or examine the food you risk buying food that is not only expired but unsafe to eat. The photo is a perfect example: the yellow, store sticker shows a lower price than the BDO's own green sticker on the right.

Good deals on food and returned items.Update 2024: prices have gotten a lot higher here almost out of line with grocery store price increases. We had less luck finding great discounts and this store is no longer a secret so they are definitely making good money. Had to drop astar on my review to reflect the change in value.

Absolutely love this place. I find so many great purchases. It is always like a fun treasure hunt seeing what they have. I find lots of home decor that has come from Target, clothes for the kids and sometimes me too, shoes, boots, toys, and food. It honestly is such a fun place to just walk around and see what they have. Only wish they would update what they have on their website more often, but if you follow on Instagram they seem to do it more there.

This used to be a place to go for a deal. Now you're getting an employee discount... Sad to see it changed. This has been one of my favorite places for a long time I've sent many people to check it out. I can't justify getting a few bucks off something that has had the breaks beat off it. We go here weekly. It is a great place to give the kids a small snack budget, and let them find their own goodies.I personally love to check out the medicine aisle. I find great deals on things I use frequently.
