I came in after some pest control products. Found what I needed quick and well priced. As I was leaving there was a belligerent person attempting to return an item from a different store. While I do understand policies and the intricacies of looking up old transactions when you didn't bring a receipt- people like this jackass are better for business OUT of your store. Best to instruct your associates to give the man his money and sort the loss out later... before they get flustered and start dropping F bombs and looking to fight over a less than $10 item. It's really a moment when you have to figure out "what's it going to take?" quickly... otherwise escalation can get physical and then the fallout results in way more loss than a $10 item. Doesn't matter if the guy is wrong. Get him out the door and move on. I was ready to pull him out myself because of how caustic he was being- but it was none of my business. The young lady cashier was getting flustered because the guy was both wrong and trying to be physical. She was trying to stand her ground... and he was about to "teach her a lesson". Totally inappropriate. It would be great to see this man barred from the store... sorry to rant but it's tough to find retail help these days and consumers like that need to stay at home. I hope your cashier didn't quit...

Ace Hardware is not just a hardware store. In addition to hardware, they carry home decor, toys, refills propane tanks and has call ahead pick up. Expert organization, stocked and Great service! Highly recommend!

Professional service and attention to detail. Got help right away and found most of the items I was looking for. I always have a pleasant experience shopping here, but the inventory is not as large as some of the other home improvement stores. But it's always not as overwhelming either if you need to find something fast. Good prices and nice people.

We were looking for a certain bolt and struck out at Home Depot. So we went to Ace where we found plenty of help, a clean store, friendly employees, a wide choice of hardware, and the bolt we needed!

If you're into home improvement, this place has a lot of stuff. Not as big as Home Depot or Lowes, but closer if u live in north Ogden.

Horrible people. I called in to see if they had a specific set of Christmas lights, to which the employee confirmed that they did. I drove over 25 miles, and when I got there no one knew what I was talking about. They finally find the guy who said they had them, and he tells me he was wrong and that he made a mistake. The team brushed it off as if it didn’t matter, but the hour of my life and 25+ miles mattered to me. I will never shop at Ace again. Don’t waste your time on this store.

That's time goes on I appreciate more and more Ace Hardware. They're surprisingly good at anticipating the important items to keep in stock so that you can visit the smaller local store and still come out with what you need. I was immediately greeted by somebody who asked me if I wanted some help then walked me straight to the aisle I needed.

Cashiers are you young, but they need to know how to read and do math. When an order is over $100 and a coupon says a percentage off for orders over $100, you don't cancel the sale because an item is on sale.

I’m not sure if any of you have gone to this Ace store but they have one of the best employees! Randy will help you with any of your needs or questions. He is amazing! He knows what they sell and he can explain some of the pros and cons of the different brands. He is the reason we keep going back. Lowe’s may be cheaper but they don’t have Randy.

Ace is such a great store. The people are most helpful. You don't have to buy scores of items in a bag to get the single piece you really want. To have such a great, but not gargantuan store in North Ogden is tremendous. It is always the first place I go when I need a hardware-related item.

I come here to get hero laundry detergent since part of the proceeds go to helping veterans. And have also gotten other stuff from here as well. Staff have always been helpful in finding what I need.

I love this store! I'm so happy it's in North Ogden. I like to shop local and this is my hardware store! There is so much inventory here that no matter what you're looking for, they probably have it! Staff is always very helpful, greeting you at the door and walking you to what you're looking for. The fresh popcorn is good too.

Very clean and organized, good selection for the store size, employees are friendly and helpful. They lose a star for offering half the military discount of their competitors down the street. Makes this a convenience stop, larger shopping trips will still go to the others.

I had good customer service as the gentleman tried to help me find the product I wanted. I had a coupon in hand and was ready to spend. Unfortunately, the item I wanted was not in stock. No biggie, right? I don't know how Ace is setup, but in my experience stores can check the stock of surrounding stores in the same chain and get the product shipped to my store in a timely manner.So he finishes filling out the order form and I am told by the cashier, "You cant use that coupon on special orders." I'm sorry, but what's special about you not having the item I wanted in stock? I would love to support smaller, local stores, but looks like I'm off to Lowes or Home Depot! Don't give me a coupon and then tell me I can't use it.

We love our local Ace. They have everything we need. Even toys for birthday parties. Huge selection of Melissa and Doug toys. I love it because I don't have to brave a huge hardware store or big box store.

I bought a Stihl chainsaw from this store the other day. The store is nice and the staff was helpful. The saw leaks bar oil like crazy and the store has nobody who can help fix the problem. A brand new saw that needs to be repaired is not the stores fault but if you are going to sell them have someone who can fix/help with the matter.
