I had a relatively good experience here this morning. The food was adequate. Their chicken fried steak did taste a little over cooked. Their service was good, but I didn't like having to place an order over a phone... which they have at every table. I just find it strange to order that way.Still, my experience here was good.

This place has fantastic food!I had the burger.Wife had the chicken country fried steak.Everything was excellent.This place is kind of self serve.You sit, grab a menu, order your food on the red phone, pay, pick up your food.Then you self serve your drinks.I will definitely come back for the fantastic food.

I know this establishment has a long history and loyal customers, so I was excited to finally try it. You'll have to try for yourself to see why the 2 star rating. We ordered the enchiladas special and the Strike Up The Band Chicken (teriyaki chicken) plate with onion rings. The food was not good, except for the honey butter that comes with the scone.

A unique dining experience! Order at your table on the red phone. They page you when your food is ready. Self serve coffee, no need to wait for a server to bring you more. Ordered so much food and our bill was only shy of $40. Our omelets were delicious! Two omelets with hash browns. Two large pancakes, two orders of toast, extra side of two scrambled eggs and extra side of hash browns. Large portion sizes. We ate to our hearts content and took plenty to go. When we are in Nephi again, this will be our go to dinner 🥘 we parked our semi on the side of the street by the dinner. East in and out for us.

Honestly… it’s pretty mid. The food tastes like something you could buy frozen from Walmart and re-heat yourself. Pretty cheap/meh food 🤷🏻‍♂️We probably won’t ever go back, but we’re full and that’s what we came for, so I can’t complain!

Worst dining experience ever. I cook what I ate so much better at home for a whole lot less so diners beware this one's a dive whole. I know it was never a fine dining place but how freaking hard is it one to actually cook quality food and freaking clean let alone have a freaking personality smile be friendly have a demeanor of someone that's happy and wants to help you have a great experience in the establishment , even if you hate your job learn to fake it when your there. It was just not a good experience. Food was cooked horribly and made me sick. Unfortunately, me coming back, that's a big NOOOO. I'll go yo another establishment. Or cook my own quality food .

This place was great. We ordered meals and we tasted each other's. It was all good. We loved it so much. We live 3 hrs away and we plan on making making the 6 HR round trip just to eat there again real soon.

Not too bad, first time here and it interesting how you place your order via table telephone. Service is decent food is pretty good,. Coffee is pretty good here as well.

Fabulous food and a great atmosphere. I usually have only been to One Man Band in Lehi for breakfast. This was the first time for dinner and it was wonderful (Yes, I know I could order breakfast or dinner at any time of the day). I had the chicken wrap and it was tender, creamy, and delicious. The side salad was fresh, but it was a typical salad. The wrap I thought I would need some dressing or sauce to dip into, however, it was not needed. They add this parmesan dressing that adds flavor and makes everything in the wrap, including the very tender chicken, mesh together and taste wonderful. The place looks like an old fashioned diner and the way you place your order from your table with a telephone is always fun. The whole place just has a classic fun feel and is a pleasure to dine there.

Slightly disappointed by the fact that there was 3 people working at "One man band" but they are quicker that way, and it's a fun atmosphere. The food is good and portions are on par for the price. Very good fries, cooked golden and crisp with seasoning and served with fry sauce. We finished with the 8 piece carmel and cinnamon desert. The caramel dipping sauce was warm, and they are Delicious! We planned to save half for later and ended up eating them all!

This restaurant is 50's style. Located in Nephi close to the exit from the freeway. The restaurant was very clean, entering was like going back to the 50's. Ordering was very interesting where you called from a telephone on your table, then you pick up your food. The food was very good.

The only reason I give it two stars is because this restaurant has my favorite hidden Valley golden honey mustard dipping sauce (The Golden horseshoe at Disneyland that used to have it as their honey mustard dipping sauce but they have since gotten rid of it). Other than that they have great lunch specials but the food is sub par at best. We went in at 1 pm, no one was there. It looked really fun on the inside and this place is just like “Training Table” (A former Utah classic) so I had high hopes going in to it. We got 3 of the 1/4 with cheese lunch specials for like $6 not bad! But the service was sub par! The bathrooms were disgusting, I started thinking that this whole restaurant is really ran by one person. But then I saw a second person later on. One of the tables was a complete mess the entire 45 mins we were there. The food came and the meat on the burger was that cheap style meat that you get for like a few bucks. (Really, it tasted like the 40 pack of burgers you get at Sam’s Club for $25). We couldn’t finish the burger. Macdonald’s has a better meat patty. Cool thing about this place though is the condiment bar and soda bar pretty much have everything out there for you and you can just grab whatever you want so that was nice. We definitely probably won’t be stopping here again, maybe other things are good on the menu I am not sure.

I went there last night and loved it! The food is really good, didn't take long at all to get it, and the amount was incredible! Me and my boyfriend both had to take the rest to-go because we got full. It tasted just as good reheated. Definitely recommend!

Food was not very good pics of basil chicken, zero basil, and the country fried steak, over cooked bland also. Very bossy place with all the instructions, food is not presented in order, salads were last up on counter. Hot food was just sitting there waiting for complete order to be finished I’m guessing before alerting us it was ready. Not worth the stop.

Nasty, Nasty soup. Wife ordered the vegetable beef, but couldn't get past the first bite. The scone was okay - cooked too hot, so it was too dark outside but undercooked in the middle. My salad was fine. I realize that the whole theme is minimal level of service, but when you ask a question you get a scowl, and when you tell the disinterested teenager that the soup is inedible she simply agrees.
