Set 16 miles from the peak of Mount Nebo, this down-to-earth budget hotel off I-15 is 31 miles from Little Sahara Recreation Area. Modest rooms accessed by exterior corridors sleep up to 5 guests and feature Wi-Fi, and tea and coffeemakers. Some add flat-screen TVs, microwaves and/or minifridges. Continental breakfast is served in a laid-back dining room with kitschy, outdoor-themed decor. There’s a hot tub, and a seasonal outdoor pool with a patio. Up to 2 pets are welcome in some rooms. Parking is available.

It was a dark and stormy night, then we entered the room. Beds looked okay but there was a weird vibe to the room. There were dead bugs on the lamp shades and orange-brown stains. The floor had dead bugs and was stiff to the touch. The shower turned into a torture device when in use. The water went from a cold-warm roller coaster to boiling without warning causing me to leap out of the shower and burning my back. The final straw was the clicking or ticking that came from who knows where. It was like the crocodile from Peter Pan... you can hear it but you can't always find it.... ticking all through the night... tick.... tick.... tick...

DONT STAY HERE!!!!!If I could leave zero stars I would. This place is nasty dirty uncomfortable and they don't care.People above us were stomping and partying till after 1am we made multiple complaints as well as other rooms and it only got worse they didnt do anything besides trying to make the people who complained move rooms (we had kids trying to sleep). They didn't clean, there were long black hairs all over the shower (we are blonde or gray haired) the pillows you can tell are super used there is nothing left to them, beds are rock hard. There is mold in the showers the walls are falling apart. We tried to call the office to complain about the noise but they are just for show they don't work. Toilet is the size of a toilet for a toddler. Wifi doesnt work. Plumbing is so bad running the shower the walls scream super high pitch, instant migraine hearing it.They have a set of stairs outside wrapped in caution tape (missing 98% of the stairs) the parking lot is destroyed, garbage every where. Needless to say they need to tear this place down and start over and need better staff.Safety: Not safe. I have pictures that I can't even post.

The rooms are a bit dirty, the towels are discolored and kinda stained looking and we had to call to even check in because there was nobody around at the front desk at 8pm.The biggest disappointment and false advertisement was the continental breakfast and waffles posted from 6am-9am. We woke up this morning to head down and all we got was a sign on the door stating office closed. The breakfast sign is still sitting there on the checkin desk. That honestly would have stopped me from leaving a review. But that was pretty irritating.

Pleasant folks, clean but dated room. Nice little continental breakfast. The king bed was clean and suitably comfortable, as were the pillows. We were in room 15, which is a small apartment with a sitting room, kitchen/eating area, and TV in both the bedroom and sitting room. It was more than we needed, but the only thing available after a long day of driving.

It's an older hotel that has some wear and tear, but spacious and clean. Dylan did me a solid by mentioning the room I booked online was in the smoking section (I didn't realize it when I booked it) and brought me to the room to make sure I'd be okay with it since I don't smoke. Unfortunately the area did smell of smoke, but he offered to switch my reservation to a non-smoking room and that definitely was a good gesture and I appreciated him doing that for me.

Beds aren't Terrible.Shower heads were pretty low as if they were set up for a child's height. I'm average height for a woman and had to bend down to wash my hair. Doesn't seem that it has been updated in a while. The toilet was also not filling up properly and would take about 4- 5 mins of the water running (which was loud) to fill back up.Rooms: Were a bit run down.

Except for the hot water taking FOREVER to get hot in the sink and the fact that it drained so s-l-o-w....it was great. We will definitely be looking into staying there again if we are in that area.We want a motel with doors that open into the parking lot and a a convince store real close. They definitely delivered on both accounts.Loved the black out curtains.It's quiet and clean.Highly recommend this motel

Wish I could leave a negative star. My family and I were passing through and got a room. We always check the mattresses for BEDBUGS or signs of their presence. The first thing we did once we got into our room was take a flashlight and scanned the sheets and found multiple baby bugs crawling around. Nope! Less than 10 minutes after checking in we went to the office and asked for our money back so we could go to another hotel. The clerk said they couldn't help us and we would have to call back and talk to the manager in the morning. Called back and spoke with the GM, Nancy. Nancy said that she would not refund the money because the hotel needs to determine whether or not they had bugs. SO. NOT. ACCEPTABLE. We were so tired and needed a place to stay. We would have stayed had we not found bugs. We were literally there for less than 20 minutes. A FULL REFUND would have been the appropriate action for the hotel to take. We did not stay. No hotel should ever deny a refund to any customer that finds bugs and stays less than 20 minutes. The room was never utilized. If the decision to determine if there were bugs rested solely on the hotel, there would never be any accountability for any hotel. They could all just as easily deny it and take people's money. Bed bugs or not, bugs were in the bed. Horrible customer service. Horrible experience. They robbed us of our money.

Dylan at the front desk has HORRIBLE Customer service and was VERY VERY rude and Disrespectful! We booked a stay several weeks ago. I went to check in very late in the evening and for some unknow reason he couldn't find our reservation. He didn't even know how to look up the Confirmation Nunber or our name to attempt to find it. I asked him to call a Supervisor to get help becuase I had it right infront of him on my phone but he just kept saying they didn't have it and they were all sold out. He FINALLY called to tell her I was an upset person in the lobby saying I had a reservation but he doesn't have one. He did passed on our Info that she asked for from him. She told him she would call back. I waited a while but he said it didn't matter if she found a reservation or not because they had no rooms and he wouldn't do anything for us anyways. He was VERY argumentative which caused me to react and I did get pretty upset with how he was treating me. The whole town was pretty much booked up which is why I was upset they "lost" our reservation. I walked out after he said I should just leave becuase he isn't going to do anything for me or my 3 children who just drove hours to get here for a Baseball Tournament. I gave him a few choice words and walked out. As I drove away he stood at the window giving us some hand jesters and giving us a thumbs down motion. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! My husband was finally able to find a hotel that had a room and would book us for the weekend. The front desk person there was FABULOUS!!! She quickly got an out of order room ready for us so we had a place for the weekend and she was so kind and sweet!! I would NEVER recommend National 9 to anyone if they have people like Dylan working there. He does not belong in the hotel industry!!! I would give it 0 stars if it let me.UPDATe: They charged us for canceling our reservation we HAD through Booking. Called to ask why since we were told we didnt have on. I was treated VERY rudly by what I was told was the manager. She REFUSED to refund the money saying we did have a reservation and we canceled so due to policy they charged us. Made Absolutely NO SENSE! SCAM in my opinion. I'm sure she pocketed the money or split it with Dylan who she apparently loves. How are they even in business!!!!!!

I'm super sad because I used to love staying here, especially when I worked in Nephi in the winter and couldn't get home. Unfortunately, in the last year since my husband and I have stayed there, something changed. Firstly, the room was so gross but it was 3 am when we got in so we didn't notice until this morning that the tub had some nasty funky brown stain(?) and the toilet was black. The microwave hadn't been cleaned since at least the last visitor because there was some red "sauce" all over the plate. How that happened, I'm not sure because the microwave didn't even work. And then, to top it off, my total that I was told online, by email, and by the dude that checked us in was $86.44 I was charged $106.44. Apparently it was a pet fee, however I stated and SIGNED A PAPER STATING that I did NOT have my dogs. Unfortunately one of my dogs had a medical emergency and wasn't able to come with us, so not only was the fee inconvenient but it also added to the sadness and stress that I was already feeling. Add on the fact that when I called to address the issue, I got the run around, was asked if "$20 is really worth it" and, in the end after speaking to the manager, Nancy, was hung up on before I could ask when the money would be refunded. I know $20 isn't that much to some people but that's the difference between me making it home or not and with all of the stress of this trip and my dog possibly not being okay, this was just the cherry on top.

For a 1 night stay, traveling through this place is ok. All the necessities were clean but some of the walls needed to be cleaned. Built up dirt smudges have not been addressed for a long time. The bed was comfortable enough.

Clean inn and spacious rooms. Budget friendly with Wendy's being within walking distance. Front desk receptionist was friendly checking us in, making small conversation. We had to pull in here for the night to get out of the snow storm. I would stay here again.

This is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in!! My wife and I were attending a wedding in Nephi and after we went to our room and it was dark in the room did not have good lighting at all so when we woke up we realized what kind of room we just rented and it so bad I couldn't even take a shower. We just got our stuff and left couldn't even stay long enough to go to the office. There was foot prints all over the walls and garbage behind the mini fridge Al's mold growing in the toilet and on the shower curtain. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!

If there were six stars this motel would receive it! Price was excellent and the quality of the room made it a steal. Brandon was extremely helpful with our walk in reservation. With the covid pandemic still here, he provided me with necessary disinfectant so I could do my own wipe down. The room was so clean I wasn't even needed, but cant be too safe nowadays. Beds are great and people the AC WORKS!!! There are 2 other motels in the area I promise they are "incase there is no vacancy". Microwave, refrigerator, tv all nice and works great. When I travel again through Utah this will be a choice stay. Thanks Brandon! Oh the picture is for whoever said parking was hard... doesn't get any easier

This was by far the worst motel I have ever been too! I went here with my three other family members and it was terrible. I never went into the front desk but I was told they were just average. The beds were stained and uncomfortable, but the worst part was that their was hairs on the pillows. I had to sleep with a towel under my head. There are two more motels around here please go there instead of this one.

Booked this place because I was told that they had recently remodeled. On check in, the staff was very nice. She checked me in quickly. I asked if it was okay to leave my dogs in their crates while we went away for a bit. She didn’t know I had dogs even though I had called twice to verify. No problem. She issued us a different room. I should have known what to expect with the vomit in the parking stall next to us. The room was not updated at all. Old and shabby. It was carpeted and smelled so bad of smoke and pet urine I couldn’t stand it. We tried. We turned on the A/C and left the door open while we carried everything in. I sprayed it with my trusty odor remover spray but it didn’t cut it. The reason I graded with two stars is that they refunded our money in full. We found a different motel with vinyl floors. Plus the new place was less expensive.

The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot and was OK the towels were disgusting. The shower curtain had some black stuff on it I am not exactly sure what it was. the breakfast was absolutely atrocious starting with hand prints and residue everywhere and on everywhere.

Not a bad stay. The room was clean, the lobby was clean. Everything worked.The bed though... It's a good thing I like my wife because as soon as we got into the bed we rolled into the middle and cuddled all night (soft but sunken). The tap water wasn't very tasty, but that happens in small rural towns.I'd stay here again if I were passing through.

This is a bare bone motel. We just needed a bed at a very low price. This filled the bill. The management who are very friendly and helpful let us check in early and the room was clean. We will probably use them again if we're in the area. We didn't eat breakfast but the dining area looked inviting. Just remember to bring your blow dryer.

We stayed there 2 years ago and it was fine. This time it looks run down and unmaintained. The sink was broke and the bathroom fan didn't work and made a horrible noise. The carpet was badly worn and the whole place needed some TLC.
