Our Florida friends and my wife and I stopped here yesterday after driving over the Mt Nebo Loop from Payson to the see the fall colors. The colors this year are absolutely excellent. The best in quite a number of years. Anyway, we wanted to stop for lunch somewhere. My wife and have stopped at other places in Nephi before but never here. We are SO glad we did. The choices are quite numerous. My wife had a cheese enchilada, chili relleno, beans and salad. I had the shredded beef taco, shredded beef enchilada, chili relleno and rice and beans. It was excellent. Our friends also had excellent meals. We will definitely stop here again in the future.

Great little hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. We stopped in while traveling to have lunch. Food was hot, tasty, and authentic. Very delicious. They did not seem very busy, but we did not have the greatest service. We also noticed as we were leaving and saw another table get the standard chips and salsa, that we did not get ours. It was the day of their town celebration, parade, and rodeo that night, so that might have played into things.

Restaurant is an old diner converted to Mexican Food restaurant. Menu is varied with plentiful options.Staff was very inviting, accommodating and attentive, even helping above what was expected.Food (steak and asada tacos) was good and plentiful

A rather surprising gem! Literally the thickest creamiest best horchata I've ever had. Damn good guac as well.Make the 3 min trip off the highway to visit this place they take quality very seriously.

Chili Verde was the worst I've ever had in my life. Chili Verde is my favorite, this absolutely isn't Chili Verde. Tomales taste like they've been soaked in clear jello. 100% will not eat there again. Terrible food.Server was quick, friendly, and attentive. She was the only reason it got any stars.Horrible "Mexican" food.

One of the worst Mexican restaurants experiences ever!! First, the short waitress had so much attitude while taking our order! All we asked for is to customize menu items like substitute beans instead of meat since we are vegetarian, and it would just be a flat NO! Every Mexican restaurant we have gone to has always been able to accommodate us EXCEPT this ONE! Even Taco Bell and Del Taco allows for customization. These guys can't even do that. I would not recommend this place to anyone because of their service though. Even if it was no on substituting beans instead of meat, the waitress should have gone about it in a professional manner. So rude and the eye rolling was the worst. We basically got cheese enchiladas and left, which were terrible. These guys need to learn what a Mexican restaurant is all about!!!Vegetarian options: Non-existent at this location!!!!

You know how the restaurants look before Gordon Ramsey fixes them. This is one of those. The overall appearance inside is unkempt and dis repair. Open garbage cans by the counter the look was quite run down and not dirty but not clean. The wait staff was nice and attentive. The food was ok the chicken in the enchiladas was caned the sauces were not fresh they tasted caned and the salsa that came with comp chips tasted like tomatoes sauce. I was really weary to eat there based on the state of the restaurant. It is not good just OK. The prices were not too bad and there were lots of options. Would not recommend and would not stop again unless I had to.Dietary restrictions: They could not answer if any sauces had butter or ingredients but did leave off all dairy when asked

Ate here once and it was decent but came back a month later and it was busy but not swamped so I waited very patiently and watched our waitress walk past us like 5 times but never got a menu. We still waited another 15 minutes and never got a menu and then an elderly couple got up to pay for their meal and waited at the cash register for about 5 minutes when a young man went to help them which was good I thought... Until the waitress that sat us started fighting with the young man who was helping the elderly couple. I guess she really wanted to check them out and she threw an absolute fit over it... That was when we just walked out and I overheard the waitress say "oh I forgot about you". I may consider giving this place another chance if they just fire that terrible waitress everyone else there seems like good people and the food is good but that one waitress ruins it

When I walked in and saw no Hispanic people at the counter I thought it wasn’t going to be good. I totally have to apologize, this place is so Mexican i felt right at home,Thank you. Taste is so good.Waiting to come back soon.

I am writing a review to share the absolute disgust I feel about an employee at this location and how she treated my father when he showed up to order a meal this evening. My father has visited this location before and did not experience this until today. My father went to the restaurant today around 6:20pm to order a meal and this distasteful disgusting women at the front asked him "what do you want", no proper greeting, and was immediately condescending. She told my father that he could not eat there. He was so embarrassed by the way this women treated him and he walked out. I will not tolerate any mistreatment like this. This business should review the treatment that their staff has on their customers, especially her. My father is Latin/Hispanic and this women was white. The way she treated my father is not a joke and its not something you should ever to do anyone. I hope this was not some racist reaction towards him. I hope that this establishment reviews her actions and how she treats people that come to this restaurant and make sure that no one else ever feels this mistreatment. You have made a hard working man feel unwelcome when all he was coming for was to order dinner after a long day of work.

Today my uncle came to this establishment like any other normal day. However, it was NOT a normal visit because he encountered a waitress who refused him service. She was white and my uncle is Latino. I hate to think that discrimination played a role here. To the owners of the establishment, our family would like changes to be made because this is not the type of employee that deserves to be a part of your team, she is a liability. We hope changes are made so no other person or families have to go through the horrendous experience that my uncle underwent when all he was simply trying to do was buy a Burrito.

Hostess (Caucasian) was rude and impolite and told my father-in-law (who is Latino) that he couldn’t eat there. At MEXICAN restaurant! He was so so embarrassed that he just walked out. This happened just today!He’s been there before plenty of times. The last time he was there, he had no problem with who was assisting him. He said a nice Latina girl helped him no problem.This is NOT ok.

I would give less if I could. We finally tried it after living down here for 18 years. The waitress wasn't the best. Food was not good, their salsa was terrible. It was watery and no flavor. Absolutely will not recommend or go there again.

Hands down, the best Mexican food ever! The chips and salsa are sooo good and always fresh. We always stop by when visiting from California. The chicken enchiladas (#34) and the fajitas are the best! Not to mention the staff is very friendly and the location is spotless clean!
