Julie did such a lovely job on our very shaggy little puppy, Pippa. She was wonderful to work with, kind, and you can tell she loves dogs. When Julie was all finished grooming our dog, Pippa was returned to me with the most darling cut and beautifully clean. We will definitely be coming back to Kind and Gentle Dog Grooming for future grooming services. I feel so lucky I was referred to such a wonderful groomer!

My dog has a very difficult coat to groom. She always comes home beautiful and smelling wonderful. Additionally, she is always done in a reasonable amount of time and the prices are unbeatable. Julie does an excellent job and truly cares about the animals' wellbeing. We cannot recommend Kind and Gentle Dog Grooming enough.

Julie is AMAZING!! She squeezed me into her schedule at last minute,and she loves and adores the dogs so much! You can just see the care she has for her clients!I also have a dog that does not like having his paws touched at all! She is so patient and kind with him. I am definitely coming back to her again! Hands down my favorite groomer of all time for numerous reasons!1. She genuinely loves her job and each of the animals she works on! My dog is 9+ years old and has never looked forward to a grooming appt until we found this one!2. She’s always very easy to communicate with if I have questions!3. Of the 9+ years I’ve had a dog and been making routine grooming appts no one has shown concern like she has...for example my dog has some serious claws (long nails) that apparently can cause issue for my pup over time yet this is the first and only time anyone has told me about this being an issue.4. She’s never forceful on treatments but always makes great suggestions on what is going to be best for the pup themselves!Needless to say I will not go anywhere else until she retires! Which I pray is no time soon! My pups and I LOVE her!

I have never had such a negative experience with a groomer. My dog is a very difficult dog to groom, and after already two price increases was told that my dog would be an additional $10 a groom because he is too hard to groom. Even though she told me most times she couldn’t fully do his ears or tail because it was too difficult, and these were services we paid for but didn’t receive. I still understood that he is difficult so I understood the increase, although was annoyed I paid more when he wasn’t receiving full grooms. Plus the groomer stresses out my dog so badly I didn’t want to find a new one and put him through that. We took him to Julie for two years with 8 week groomings. He is a shih zhu poodle and is prone to matting around ears and tail, it’s just his breed, especially in the winter.Now with no appointment reminder, and having our baby 3 weeks early...and just getting home from the hospital, we missed our grooming appointment, (the only time this has ever happened).Julie referred us to someone else for grooming.
