Bernie the manager was SO RUDE. I couldn’t believe the disrespect and immaturity from this man. Immediately upon walking up to Bernie and asking to pay for a shower he started giving me attitude and assuming I was going to steal more than 1 shower. I took that 1 shower that I paid for and came back the next week for another shower, he refused my money and had me trespassed. I don’t know what this man’s problem is but I would highly recommend steering clear of the Westerner none the less. Check out the Old West RV park right up the street instead.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay here! The park was smaller than we expected (which was a plus in our book), and our site was wide with plenty of room to park our monster dually. We were able to do a late check in, and the owners left us a postcard with all the info we needed in the office. They were also very responsive when we had a question during our stay. It was also easy to move in and out of the campground. Though we didn’t travel to any local attractions, this would be a great park to use as home-base for touring all the natural beauty in the area. Highly recommend staying here!

We are staying in this park now and will be here for a month while we tour the surrounding areas. It is a very small park which is perfect for us. The staff (Bernie & John) have both been amazing and very helpful. They seem to be right on top of everything and there to assist when you need them. There is road noise as the park is right on the main highway, but you get used to it quickly, and it is very quiet at night. My only concern is that the water and cable hookups are located in front of our trailer and not behind, but there were extra water spiggots on the site next door allowing us to connect there. All in all, I am certain we will be quite happy here for the month ahead!

Utilitarian. People are nice enough. The little town they're on the edge of has a surprisingly useful set of stores and facilities. The Thai place next door has good food but very slow service. Not far from some excellent tourist attractions. Good for the price but the spaces are small. Go in the fall and you can get all the apples you want - great for pies.

This is an RV park not a hotel. The park is undergoing some upgrades and the late snow in early April didn't help them much. The Host, a young man, was very helpful with area attractions and directions. There's not a lot to do in Monticello UT but there were cool things to do not far from the park. Edge of the Cedars, is one such place. The visitor center was full of artifacts. Natural Bridges National Monument is another.

We stayed there in April. Due to weather we had to change our arrival 3 times and the woman was super accommodating to us. Nice small park and very friendly. Joe was very helpful in changing our spot on arrival due to smokers next to original spot. We wound up staying 4 nights and adventuring the area. Lots to see. Highly recommend.

This RV/campground park is very nice. Super clean. The bathrooms and shower facilities were clean. We didn't have reservations but they had availability. Everything was self explanatory. We didn't have to see anyone. We just found a campsite and parked our tent trailer. The laundry facility was nice too. It takes quarters. $2 for washing machine and $1.75 for dryer. I only had to dry the load once. Even though it's off the main drag, it's not noisy. We would camp here again. Full hookups too.

Excellent RV Park. Complete hookups with beautiful shade trees. Mr. & Mrs. Dalton, the owners, make you feel welcomed and take fantastic care of the property. Clean and very roomy restrooms, and a full size laundry room were a plus. Temperatures are very mild especially during the hot Summer months. Seventies and 80's during the day and low 60's during the nights. Full Wi-Fi and over 100 cable channels allow you to keep your satellite equipment home. Such a great little town with very friendly people. Spot #9, 10 & 11 are where we can set back in our lounge chairs and see for over 100 miles into Colorado. Also, for all you Golfers, the second best course in Utah, Hideout Golf Course, is right next to the Westerners RV sites. We will be back!

Like everyone else on the reviews have said great people running this park. We had to change our reservation kind of on the fly and they were very accommodating with that. The sights are nice and it looks like they have recently updated the bath and shower house. Nice park!

We used the Westerner as our base camp to explore Mesa Verde, Canyons of the Ancients, Arches, and Canyonlands. We had a great experience here. Super hot showers, coin laundry, full hookups. Jon, the host, even helped us figure out what was wrong with our battery when we were getting ready to leave. Thanks for a great stay!

Easy access to the Hideout Golf Course and a newly remodeled bathroom and shower facility. The owner was super knowledgeable and shared some great information with us about the area. The trailer spots offered lots of shade and there were deer that we were able to enjoy every night.

Terrible place. The lady was extremely rude and irritated. No water pressure. There are numbers marking the RV spots but no way to know which side of the number we were supposed to park. She came walking up and my brother asked her which side and she told us “to calm down! There’s too many voices!” That’s not how you treat people!!

Excellent Summer location for all your outdoor activities. Owners, Mr. & Mrs. Dalton were wonderful in providing a clean safe RV location. Very clean restrooms, laundry, super fast WiFi, and large camp sites with beautiful shade trees.

We came in really late on Friday and the owner was still up and helped us RV newbies back into our space. He was so kind and helpful! The bathrooms were newly remodled and very clean. Thanks for your hospitality!

The spots are a bit cramped. The rate is a bit high. The main gripe I have is that the hookups are on the wrong side of the camper, who wants their dump station next to their picnic table let alone running under their camper and across the main walking area? The guy in the office that helped us check in is the only reason I'm not giving a lower review.

Friendly owner, nice site with plenty of shade at edge of town. Near hwy 191 but quiet at night. Low key campground with excellent facilities (bathrooms/showers, laundry). Water, dump station on site. I highly recommend Westerner RV park

Nice place. Friendly people. My site, 28, was level. Good stop on the way to Arches. Older park but it works. I would stay again. Did not use the facilities. Looks like there is a market in town but it was closed on Easter so I don't know anything about it.

Can't talk to anyone on phone. Online only. Hookups on wrong side for all back in sites (used to be a mobile home park). Best thing was a nice restroom/shower. Nice host.
