Rooms are what you expect from a motor inn, however the service is questionable. My door was tried at 9am, followed by a series of rapping, completely unannounced. The person wore a nondescript black hoodie with the hood up. When asked, the person replied "room service". When the person learned that their services were not required, the person disappeared from sight without a word. I called the front desk reporting this suspicious person, the front desk replied "it was the room service", and apologized. Besides this unsettling experience, the window has poor insulation so noise from the main road is audible.

This shady hotel took my reservation five days ago but failed to tell me that they close at 9pm. So when I showed up at midnight, in the middle of nowhere with no phone service and found this dump closed, I was not happy. Called and talked to them the next day and the guy couldn't have cared less. He should be pretty thankful I couldn't talk to him in person.

The WORST motel EVER !!!! , spend a little bit more money and stay at blue oasis just across the street there is a REASON this one is cheap , very very small room ,they was a left ver sandwich in the fridge when I checked it out , this is a DUMP !!!!!! PLUS you either have to sleep with the. Bright above light on or not charge your PHONE , plug ins do not work unless the light is on 😡AND there are NO plug ins in the bathroom . Outside door does NOT stay shut , and forget changing room they will not do it !! The bath tub is very filthy , there is NOTHING I mean NOTHING good about this motel !!! It’s right off the main road so you hear traffic ALL NIGHT LONG ,No vending machines ultimately the WORST motel I have EVER stayed in. In my LIFE and I have traveled my entire life , at least 15 States per year allll over the States .

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. Great location for exploring Canyonlands National Park, especially the Needles section. The room was adequate. But they never cleaned it the whole time we were there! Every night we had to go the office and ask for clean towels. The last morning we were there, one of the maids opened the door without knocking while my wife was using the bathroom.

Rooms are clean and have all needed items, including TV, microwave and small fridge.Cleanliness is also on a good level. At the same time, prices are good as well, like for this area (near Arches and Canyonlands).Motel is also close to gas station, grocery store and restaurant/bar.

Management is trying to Rip me off for $250.00 for my dogs being in the room and they were not. They slept in the car all night. The rooms are small and poorly furnished. If you like the 60's decor you will love it.The bathroom is outdated and skanky. It was almost $$100 for the room including taxes. Wish I stayed at a motel 6.

The owner/manager is the rudest person I have ever worked with.I called after having an emergency and he lied to me about being the owner, yelled at me, would not let me speak, and hung up on me more than once.I would never stay here and support this establishment. I have never been more disappointed in a business operation in my life

I didn’t stay at this establishment, but I had an unpleasant interaction over the phone with an individual who obviously lacks appropriate customer relations. When the person on the phone becomes defensive and rude when you ask their name saying they will not give their name to help me with my issue, this is probably a place you cannot trust.Go stay somewhere else.

Checked in late, after 10 pm. They had a room available, great. No issues with the room. Only concern was being walked in on twice the following morning by the staff. Both before 10 am and check out being 11 am.The second time, I was "handling my business" and the female staff member walked in, apologized and left.... didn't even offer to help! Talk about hospitality.... Lol.Other than that, it's a small town motel, and priced accordingly. Thanks.

For 100 or less compared to the other hotels in the area this hotel while dated and needs some work satisfies all the needs of a quiet, good nights rest. Yes it's a bit run down in some ways and not the latest. Internet was flawless and fast, ice machine worked, shower worked, plenty of hot water, beds comfortable. Ca'nt compare this location to a modern, newly built Holiday Inn. Thus the 5 stars as it's worth the nights price.

This was exactly the haven I needed to recover from a [high altitude pulmonary edema] (fluid in one lung) during a big motorcycle camping trip! One of the lowest prices in town, a sparklingly clean room, refrigerator, and walkable distances to the laundromat and restaurants were all just right for me. The bathroom would've benefitted from a fan (very steamy after a shower), but I'd still gladly stay again

We needed a last minute room and of the 6 hotel/motels in this town, this was the only one with a manager willing to be accommodating with us. We paid $95 for a night, which is a lot for us but it was also the cheapest in town.I only trust reviews if they're unanimous, and the thing that was, was that the manager was so kind. SO kind. The room we stayed in was very clean and a decent size. They also provided ample soaps, towels, and washcloths. The fridge was a good size and there was a microwave & coffee maker too. The TV signal was good, and for anyone else who has travel anxiety about toilets, this one has a safe toilet LOL. They are pet friendly for a fee (call ahead) and offer smoking & non smoking rooms. If I ever pass through again, I will be staying here without a 2nd thought!

Clean and safe on a snowy night at 3am. The manager answered the phone and was very nice when we were stranded and couldn't drive any further. The rooms are a bit vintage and require time to warm up, but they are clean and smell good. I felt Covid-safe.Hint: The refrigerator is inside the TV cabinet. They have a microwave and Wifi, and wall-mounted 50 inch TV.

Poor quality stay. Someone tried breaking into my room this morning claiming that they were house keeping. This woman did not have a house keeping cart, was not in uniform. After rapidly packing my things up after the incident, I saw a gentleman with house keeping uniform pulling up his cart to the room next to me as I was getting into my car to leave. I raced out of the hotel and ended up getting a speeding ticket because of how flustered I was. Not a good experience at all.

It's one of those motels that it'll do to spend the night and to take a hot shower then to keep going. Seems like the have and old and a newer building, unfortunately they placed us at the older building which wasn't the best experience. Plenty of parking lots, clean restrooms, Wi-Fi and a half way attendance front desk. Last small town before you leave Utah on lower south east side.

It's clean and the price is right. Don't expect anything fancy for the great rates. It's dated, but again, it's clean and that matters more to me than the decor. The staff was friendly and the location to the Needles in Canyonlands National Park is great. I would absolutely stay here again over paying 5x the price per night for accommodations in Moab. If you'd rather save your money for actual adventures than to spend it on a place you're only going to sleep, this is the place for you!

Clean, affordable motel for a quick stop in Monticello before heading to Needles. Our bedroom & bathroom were simple and clean (no weird smells like I read in other motels’ reviews), bathrooms are heated and shower pressure was great. Only downside was it took a little bit of time for our room to heat up, but it got there! Would definitely recommend for a quick stay in transit through UT.

I read all the reviews before I stayed here, and I must say these folks either don't stay in hotels much or have very low standards. Bed was so bad my back hurt within minutes of lying on it, I had to sleep sideways to make it. And was very dirty. To the point that I kept socks on all night because touching the floor barefoot was nasty. Floor was sticky as well. TV was tiny, but it did work. Microwave and fridge on room, pet friendly, ice machine. Owners weren't particularly friendly either. I Always need a little bit later checkout. Like 11 instead of 10 kind of thing, because I am not an early riser and in 25 years of extensive travelling I have NEVER encountered opposition to this request until now. If you are heading for Canyonlands or Arches drive the extra half an hour to Moab. Great little town with all the amenities and ample hotel choices

Terrible experience at this hotel, you should avoid it. I stayed in room 111. The toilet wax seal is bad and the room stinks of the sewer. I was wondering why the room's window was open when I checked in... now I know. The fan in the bathroom does not work, but makes a heck of a noise. The AC unit does work, but it literally shakes the whole room, including the bed! The room is not clean, pillows and sheets are threadbare and stained, black mold and gunk in the tile grout. They did put in fake hardwood flooring, but several pieces are damaged. This room is cramped with very little space to maneuver in. It's just not a good place to stay.

For a motel this place was fine. We were just staying a couple nights and it was fine. I could tell some appliances have been updated not long ago like the bedroom and that was nice. Only downsides were of course thin walls - so you can hear the traffic and people around, the heater didn't work great but the bathroom fan was way warm, and the sheets were a little worn so not the most comfortable. But for a motel it was way better than most.

Fantastic customer service. The owner paul took an average hotel with very clean and spacious rooms, and a firm bed (which i love), and turned it into my best experience in a hotel that costs less than $200 a night. And in case you were wondering,a room with a king size bed is less than $75 with taxes (its a bit less, but prices change sometimes so i don't want to misdirect someone who's in need of a room). All in all, I would recommend this hotel to my mom. And that says a lot in my world.

As long as your expectations are properly adjusted, you will be satisfied—maybe even pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean and in good repair so I have no complaints.Stayed in a double room with comfy beds. There was enough room to move around. Was in the back building and main street/highway noise was not a problem. There were 3 sturdy but movable chairs, which was perfect for traveling with my 9 & 5 year old. The desk was a good size and had a lamp with an outlet in the base. Along with the low dresser, night stand, and small fridge, there was enough surfaces for pocket contents, devices, plates, a cooler, etc. The closet had a suitcase valet and a few hangers. IIRC, there was one of those small coffeemakers on top of the microwave on the bathroom sink counter.A few things you may want to know: 1) My fridge was tiny. If I was here more than a night or 2 and exploring the area, I'd be wishing for a larger one. (Was about the same footprint as my 28 qt cooler.) 2) The bathroom sink water pressure/rate was very low. Not unusably so, but close. 3) Speaking of, the bathroom sink was almost perfect height for my 5 year old. Woe to anyone taller than 6 ft. 4) In late November the bathroom was a little chilly (it was snowing the morning I departed). While the heater worked fine for most of the room, I propped the hair dryer on the floor before getting in the shower, which helped. A suggestion for management: install an infrared lamp (there's already a timer in there...)
