When we moved to the Heber Valley area, one of our top priorities was finding a reliable, high quality facility to care for and train our dog when we travel. Ruff Life came highly recommended by neighbors and has quickly become a godsend! They run a tight ship - they’re incredibly organized, thorough and thoughtful. But the real magic is the love and care they give to the dogs. Our pup is so happy when he’s there, and they really prioritize a balance of training based play (vs total chaos all day long) along with rest, which is exactly what our German shepherd needs. We are so grateful to have found Ruff Life and would recommend them to anyone!!

We use Ruff Life for all our dog kenneling needs. It’s obvious the team at Ruff Life loves these animals and takes great care of them when we are away. Our dogs are so excited to get there every time we go, which is the best indicator that they love it! On occasion our dogs need specific medicine or care and the team at Ruff Life are on top of it and very dependable with any extra needs our pets might have. I feel so grateful to have Ruff Life so close by. We have to budget a little more than some places, but we absolutely know that we get what we pay for, and it’s worth every penny! Don’t hesitate to use Ruff Life! Oh and the facilities are TOP notch!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Ruff Life Training and Resort. I have been taking my 2+ year old Siberian Husky for both daycare and boarding stays for over a year. He cheerfully anticipates entering the office at drop off on his daycare days and appears happy and (thankfully) well-exercised at pick-up. The staff really care about each dog - as an example, my dog gradually began to experience what we now know as seizures in 2023. He experienced one during a 3-week stay while I was in Europe, and they took him to his vet that day and well as contacting myself and my emergency contact. He eventually went on twice daily meds and at this last week's boarding stay, they discovered he had wet his sleeping pad and flipped it over. The staff notified me and then Scott (one of the owners) went through an entire night of video to determine if my pup had a seizure. He hadn't, just naughty behavior, but I am so thankful for the staff's care, knowledge and attention to my somewhat special needs dog. And I so appreciate my daily texts about how he's doing along with pictures - so reassuring to know he is safe, happy and well-cared for by the Ruff Life team. Thanks Ruff Life!

Hank absolutely loves going to ruff life! They are so good to our boy and he completely understands us when we tell him he gets to go to the kennel and play with the puppies. (That's what we call his doggie friends) They send us pictures of Hank every single day he is boarded and give us updates on our boy. This makes us very happy! It's a great kennel and we know Hank will be taken care of while we're gone. Thank you to all the workers at ruff life! Hank loves you! 🐾

I love receiving photo updates of Luna while she is at Ruff Life. I worry about the office hours, about not being able to walk in at anytime of the day. But, otherwise, I am happy with this kennel. The staff is very nice.

I just picked up my pups yesterday from boarding them for 5 nights and I have to say this place is amazing! I was so so nervous to leave them. They have never been apart from us and they are very shy/anxious pups so I worried they would be miserable and/or have some sort of issue. However, from the moment we walked in our pups forgot all about us and they were super excited to go off with one of the girls that was there to receive them. The staff is super friendly and attentive to the details. They already knew who our pups were (assuming from the profiles set up online) but the fact that they were prepared to receive them like that really put me at ease right off the bat. They’re also SUPER quick with responding to messages & reviewing booking requests. We ended up doing a day stay for 5 hours with them, because again. I was very nervous that they would be unhappy and/or not be friendly with other dogs in their space since they’re not used to it. And that was amazing as well. Throughout their boarding we received super fun and cute updates from the staff along with pictures of the two. I love that they access the yard the pups are in based on personalities, I could tell my doggos were having lots of fun! They also have shown signs of some training!They really take the time to take care of your fur babies and also keep you in the loop because they know how much they mean to you! I am super grateful to have found this place! Will be using them in the future.

I'm so thankful to Ruff Life for the outstanding care they have provided for my best buddy, Duke! The facility is spotless and provides plenty of outdoor space for playtime (water features included!) There are a couple different options for kennel sizes which is nice so I was able to choose a larger “suite” for him. Receiving daily texts and photos was a huge comfort to me and made it that much easier for me to relax while I was on vacation. They were always available to answer any questions and their online customer portal made it so easy to provide information regarding his diet, allergies, and more. I can't say enough great things about Ruff Life!

Kota just Loves going to Ruff Life ! He is tired from playing so hard . We love the staff and their positive correction methods . They send photos and they do not overcrowd the facility. I have a 12 week old puppy and Ruff Life came to the rescue!! We had an out of town wedding and I wasn’t sure what to do with my puppy. I am across Ruff life’s website. I loved that they had an outdoor play area for the dogs. While I was gone I got photos of my dog and updates on how she was doing. When it came time to pick her up she didn’t want to leave!! I highly recommend this company. Next time we are in town I will use them again.

I’ve had my dog at a fewdifferent daycares or walkers over the last year as we moved or traveled, and I’m pretty happy to say not only does my dog have a place to play now that he really likes, but he actually seems confident and happier.The other times he seemed anxious and just wanted to come home or he wanted not to go to the next visit. It’s not difficult to hand him off for the day.I love my dog beyond belief but let me tell you it’s nice to be able to have a day where I’m not feeling like a neglectful mother because I’m Working and not playing with him.

We love the folks at RUFF LIFE. More importantly, our GSD, BOO, loves the folks at RUFF LIFE. She is very sensitive and it's obvious that she loves going there. She runs into the back without a glance behind her. They send pictures daily of Boo romping around with her friends, playing in the snow in the winter and their water features when it's warmer. It makes it so much easier when we go on longer trips knowing that she's well taken care of and getting lots of attention and love.

Jennifer has been so incredibly helpful in training our two boxer boys. They are well behaved and have such good manners. They understand so many commands. And are a pleasure to be around. Plus she has given me the tools so that I can work with them as well. Our boys love their play days at Ruff Life Training and I love that they are supervised, structured play times coupled with training. It's an amazing value. Our boys recently did their first sleep away at Ruff Life Training & Resort. They loved it and I was so thankful that I didn't have to worry about them. Jennifer sent me daily reports and photos. Jennifer is an amazing trainer and really has a way with animals. She is the Heber Valley's own dog whisperer.

My family is so grateful for Ruff Life and their fantastic staff. Our dog jumps out of the car to run into Ruff Life every time he has a “play day” or boarding. The staff know his name as he barges in and they greet him with love. We get pictures and updates while our dog is staying at Ruff Life. Online booking is super easy once you have your account set up. Our dog is part Husky/Malamute and has a very thick coat. Ruff Life’s splash pad gives my family peace of mind that he can cool off while he runs around. Such a great kennel- totally recommend.

We have previously boarded our Irish Wolfhound at Ruff Life before. They always do a great job. They treat our dog like their own.We arranged for him to board in their home for about two weeks while we celebrated our anniversary out of town. We were sent daily pictures of our dog sleeping on their sofa, laying in their laps and being scratched behind the ears, and playing with other dogs. He was truly a part of their family.I highly recommend this boarding facility. You can rest easy that your dog will be well cared for and be loved.My wife and I joked that our dog wouldn’t want to come home because he was having such a good time. Luckily, he greeted us and got into our SUV and we took him home.
